On a Marine warship in the first half of the Grand Line, a Marine Captain saluted a man in his thirties, who was lying on a deck chair, eyes closed, resting.

The Marine Captain looked sowhat helpless but said no more, retreating to get ready.
Marine Vice Admiral Borsalino, a user of the Glint-Glint Fruit, forr Marine Admiral, and Zephyr the Chief Instructor’s first disciple, was renowned for his "monster-level" strength from the mont he entered the military.
The only one who could rival him was another monster, Vice Admiral Sakazuki, a user of the Magma-Magma Fruit.
After instructing the Captain to have the other Marines prepare for battle, Borsalino lay back in his chair, recalling a conversation he had with Admiral Sengoku a few weeks prior.
"Borsalino, the major trade city of Miares, located at the entrance to the Grand Line from the North Blue, hasn’t sent a military report in over two months. We sent other branches to investigate, but they too went silent. There’s a high probability sothing has happened. I’m now ordering you to lead five hundred Marine soldiers to investigate. If it’s pirates causing trouble, eliminate them!"
Those were Sengoku’s exact words. The fact that he was sending a Marine Vice Admiral, soone likely to beco an Admiral in the future, indicated the severity of the situation.
"Hmm~~ How troubleso~ If the enemy escapes, Sengoku-san will tear to pieces~" Borsalino grinned slyly, lighting a cigarette.
Borsalino pulled out a bounty poster: Avalo Pizarro, the captain of the Evil Gang Pirates, known as the Corrupt King, with a bounty exceeding 200 million Berries.
His record showed a pattern of taking control of villages or towns, then using a systematic search to completely loot all the treasures on the island.
This unique form of robbery earned him the title "Corrupt King." Although a large city like Miares was an unprecedented target for Pizarro, he was the most likely suspect.

anwhile, at the Miares harbor, amidst the astonished gazes of the surrounding Evil Gang Pirates crew, a single gunshot from Alucard’s Casull finally brought down the heavily wounded Pizarro, who was clinging to his last breath.
The battle had lasted over two hours, and a victor had finally been decided.
Pizarro turned his head, half-dead, his body riddled with bloodied holes. It wouldn’t be surprising if he drew his last breath the next second.
In contrast, Alucard’s wounds were visibly healing at a rapid rate. Through the tears in his clothes, one could see that all the injuries he had sustained from Pizarro were completely healed.
’Monster! He’s truly a monster!’
Having witnessed the entire battle, the Evil Gang Pirates were completely dumbfounded. Alucard had undoubtedly sustained no fewer injuries than Pizarro during the fight, but the terrifying thing was that Alucard’s wounds could heal, even completely recover.

The pain of a shot-through face was far more agonizing than being hit in the internal organs, simply because the skin was thinner. But amidst his cries of pain, Pizarro felt more profound confusion.
’My face was shot through! But why? Why didn’t he kill ? If he wanted to, he could have easily, couldn’t he?’
"A boring era needs a new additive, doesn’t it, Avalo Pizarro?" Alucard put away Casull. "It would be a sha for you to die now."
"Why... why nya!?"
Enduring the intense pain in his face, Pizarro looked up and roared, enraged by Alucard’s eyes, which seed to be looking at a toy.
’Is he pitying ? Is he pitying !?’
"The current era is full of lifeless fish that can’t even bite their food, just swimming around listlessly," Alucard’s lips curved into a smile. "Only by introducing fish that can eat other fish can things truly liven up."
"Go ahead and swim freely, eating fish in this boring world. This isn’t about letting you off; I rely want to nurture this fish for my own amusent, for my own pleasure."
As he finished speaking, Alucard threw his head back and laughed uproariously.
That’s right! Letting Pizarro go?
This wasn’t ’letting him go.’ It was rely to make this world a little more chaotic!
It wasn’t for the pirates’ conquest of the Grand Line, nor for the Marines’ justice.
It was for the pleasure of battle, for doing what brings joy, nothing more.

The other Evil Gang Pirates crew mbers watched Alucard standing next to their captain, laughing maniacally towards the sky, and felt goosebumps rise all over their skin.
