Now reading: Chapter 246: Enel: Cyrus Is Truly Too Good to Me from One Piece : Bounty Hunter King!, a Action novel by OPlovers11.

'Of course,' when this thought surfaced, Enel cast a covert glance at Cyrus.

Seeing that the Guild Master showed no reaction, he breathed a sigh of relief.

'Stay calm, don't get too arrogant! Being too arrogant tends to get you beaten up,' Enel reminded himself, picking up his pace to keep up with Cyrus.

As for Enel's shifting moods, Cyrus could vaguely sense them.

Perhaps his Observation Haki reaching the Awakening stage was beginning to manifest other abilities, but for now, it was only a faint perception.

Cyrus didn't mind Enel having such thoughts.

He allowed those on his side to maintain their own ideas; as long as the fundantal principles remained unchanged, everything else was trivial.

Cyrus placed little importance on power and status. Creating the Hunter Guild was initially just sothing to keep himself occupied.

Although his intentions for the organization had changed, he still felt no compulsion to control every little detail.

If the guild developed well on its own, he might even step back entirely. But before that happened, he needed to eliminate any potential threats to its foundation.

"By the way, that ill-tempered woman has also arrived," Enel noted, rembering Hancock's arrival.

"Yes, I saw her." Cyrus nodded and continued walking toward King Riku.

Through his Observation Haki, he had already spotted the Perfu Yuda in the waters surrounding Dressrosa, along with Boa Hancock standing at its bow.

Enel glanced at him, pondered for a mont, and spoke again. "Well, this woman is a bit strange."

Though Enel didn't claim to understand won, he could still sense Hancock's peculiarity.

After traveling with her from the Sabaody Archipelago to Punk Hazard, he had noticed her eccentric temper and found her impossible to deal with.

Cyrus turned to look at Enel. "I'll handle her. You don't need to worry about it."

"Oh, alright!" Enel nodded.

Truthfully, Cyrus was uncertain how to deal with Hancock's situation.

The woman's strength was formidable. Having mastered all three types of Haki alongside exceptional physical combat skills and Devil Fruit developnt, she ranked among the top-tier powerhouses on the high seas.

Having her lend a hand would accomplish a great deal.

The only issue was her personality.

Cyrus could guess why Hancock had sought him out—it was undoubtedly due to the Mary Geoise incident.

Now, he had to consider whether to bring her into the fold. The widespread mastery of Haki on Amazon Lily would be a massive asset.

The fact that so many citizens there wielded Haki indicated that the island possessed systematic training thods, which would be imnsely beneficial to the Hunter Guild.

However, Cyrus didn't want to exploit Hancock's high regard for him just to force Amazon Lily to assist the guild. Such cultivation thods were precious secrets.

...

When Cyrus t Riku, the old king was troubled over the palace's restoration.

He had no intention of rebuilding it, believing the remaining structures on the King's Plateau were sufficient, but his advisors disagreed.

"It seems you have sothing troubling you." Cyrus's voice snapped Riku out of his thoughts, and the king looked up toward the sound.

Cyrus walked in with a man sporting unusually long earlobes, his strange attire and accessories drawing sidelong glances from the guards.

Following behind them was Kyros, who seed to have sothing to say but hesitated.

Clearly, Cyrus had arrived and entered before Kyros could even announce him.

"Mr. Cyrus!" Riku stood up and offered a respectful bow.

"Enough, no need for formalities. This is the person who will oversee the Hunter Guild branch here. His na is Enel. He'll handle the guild's affairs with you going forward," Cyrus introduced.

"Mr. Enel." Riku knew Cyrus wouldn't stay in Dressrosa forever and would send a replacent.

"No need to be polite. I'll be the one protecting you. You can call God Enel," the skypiean replied.

"Ahem!" Cyrus coughed from his seat, hearing Enel's arrogant tone.

Enel flinched.

"Well, just call Enel. If any pirates or troublemakers show up, just co to . I'll take care of it." Enel puffed his chest out, clearly showing that Cyrus's earlier pep talk had been effective.

The lightning user had willingly beco the Hunter Guild's top workhorse.

"Mr. Cyrus?" Hearing these bold claims, Riku looked at the Guild Master in surprise.

Although he knew the people Cyrus employed weren't weak, this tone was incredibly arrogant, and the man didn't seem easy to get along with.

"Don't worry, Enel is quite reliable," Cyrus reassured with a smile, understanding Riku's hesitation.

"Of course, I... am very reliable." Enel habitually displayed his arrogance in front of outsiders, rembering Cyrus was present just a second too late.

"You have the list, right?" Cyrus looked toward the king.

"Yes," Riku nodded, pulling out a thick stack of wanted posters and walking over.

Cyrus gestured to Enel, who stared blankly for a second before realizing he was supposed to take them.

He accepted the stack from Riku.

"These pirates landed in Dressrosa and were turned into toys by Sugar. After you neutralized her ability, these people haven't made any major moves because of your presence. They all seem to be waiting for an opportunity to leave quietly," Riku explained, watching Enel flip through the bounties.

Truthfully, Riku believed it would be best to just let these pirates leave.

There were many of them, including several major players with bounties over a hundred million.

If so many powerful pirates had joined forces instead of being turned into toys, even Doflamingo might have struggled. When facing such a massive force, it was best to avoid conflict.

But Riku understood the decision wasn't his to make.

"Not bad!" Cyrus paid no attention to Riku's concerns and looked at Enel. "These are all left for you. I stopped Issho from taking action earlier, saving them specifically for you. If you can capture these pirates alone, you'll gain considerable fa."

Enel's eyes lit up.

As for whether the bounties were a hundred million or several hundred million, that wasn't the key point; he didn't yet have much concept of surface sea bounties.

But he understood Cyrus's aning.

These were stepping stones reserved for him to make a na for himself.

'Cyrus is truly too good to ,' Enel thought with imnse gratitude.
