"Donquixote!!!" Kaido’s voice thundered through the skies, his fury erupting the mont he recognized the newcors. The sting of his hatred toward the marines was nothing compared to the seething rage he harbored towards the Donquixote after his defeat and humiliation in Wano .
However, that anger now found a new target as he turned his full attention toward the incoming blue, fiery dragon.
The clash between Kaido and Doffy was imdiate and explosive. The air itself seed to tremble as their Conqueror’s Haki collided, sending shockwaves rippling across the island.
The sheer force of their wills clashing was palpable, a cataclysmic blast echoed throughout Punk Hazard as the two dragons collided. The impact sent debris flying, the ground beneath them cracking and splintering from the force.
Despite the vast difference in their power levels, Doffy was relentless. He attacked with the ferocity of a man possessed, his blue flas swirling around him like a living force of nature. Yet, despite his best efforts, the damage he dealt was minimal.
Doffy had yet to master the infusion of Conqueror’s Haki into his attacks, a crucial technique that Kaido had already mastered. As a result, Kaido, who had already reached the threshold of Emperor-level strength, barely flinched under Doffy’s assault.
I watched the battle unfold with a mixture of concern and calculation. The last ti Kaido and I crossed paths in Wano, he was still no match for Oden. But now, he had grown stronger, much stronger.
I couldn’t help but wonder if, with his current strength, Kaido could have taken down Oden at his peak. Battles at this level were unpredictable; a single move could change the entire outco.
For now, Kaido was at a low-tier emperor level, a far cry from the level he had reached in the original tiline. Perhaps my intervention in Wano had shattered his illusion of invincibility, pushing him to truly awaken his innate potential. This developnt made my brother’s goal of taking Kaido’s head that much harder to achieve.
As for Doffy, he was strong, undeniably so, but he was still far from matching Kaido. At his current level, Doffy could be considered mid-tier Admiral-level, a significant achievent, but nowhere near enough to stand toe-to-toe with Kaido, especially considering Kaido’s mythical Zoan powers.
Despite this, I wanted my brother to experience this fight. It was only through clashing with soone of Kaido’s caliber that Doffy could truly hone his Haki, particularly his Armant and Conqueror’s Haki.
Though Doffy trained relentlessly with Issho, there was no substitute for the lessons learned in battle, especially against an Emperor-tier opponent. And with overseeing their fight, I could ensure my brother’s safety, stepping in if things went too far.
But I knew that, like , Doffy needed this harsh wake-up call. I had received mine at the hands of Garp, and it had made stronger, more determined. Doffy, on the other hand, had been slacking since our victory over Marcus, growing complacent. I couldn’t allow that. Doffy’s ambitions and the challenges we faced required strength far beyond what he currently possessed.
Unlike , Doffy had reached his twenties. His growth would soon begin to slow, and the window of opportunity to capitalize on his potential was shrinking. He needed to push himself, to test his limits, and this fight with Kaido was the perfect crucible.
The road ahead was fraught with dangers far greater than Kaido, and I needed Doffy to be ready. Not just strong, but powerful enough to face whatever ca our way. As I watched Doffy struggle against Kaido, I knew that this fight would be a turning point for him, a mont that would either break him or forge him into the warrior he needed to beco.
"Wororororo!! Doflamingo, you little bastard, I should have killed you the last ti instead of handing you over to those governnt dogs. It would have spared so much trouble and humiliation," Kaido roared, his voice reverberating through the skies like thunder.
His eyes narrowed, the fury in them blazing as he fixed his gaze on Doffy. "Your brother... where is he hiding?" Without waiting for an answer, Kaido unleashed a devastating attack.
"Boro Breath!" he bellowed, firing a colossal beam of destructive energy straight at Doffy.
In response, Doffy smirked, unphased by the incoming attack. "Dai Enkai!" he shouted, conjuring a blue miniature sun in his hand. The blazing orb crackled with intense heat as he hurled it towards the oncoming beam.
The two attacks collided in the sky, and the resulting explosion was blinding. The sheer force of the impact sent shockwaves rippling through the air, shattering nearby rocks and uprooting trees on the island below. The sea itself recoiled, waves surging outward as the battlefield quaked under the imnse pressure of their clashing powers.
Doffy’s mastery over the ra ra no Mi was nothing short of extraordinary. What was once considered a "substandard" Devil Fruit by many in my past life had been honed to near perfection in his hands.
His flas were more than just fire—they were a manifestation of his will, burning with an intensity few could match. His ability to manipulate and weaponize his flas placed his Logia fruit at the very apex, a force to be reckoned with in the world of pirates.
As the smoke cleared, Doffy laughed, his voice dripping with mockery. "Fufufufu! Tell , Kaido, is it true that you ran away from my little brother with your tail between your legs back in Wano? I see that it wasn’t just a re rumor from the scars I can see on you."
Doffy’s taunt was followed by a swift maneuver as he dodged Kaido’s massive maw, which snapped at the fiery dragon Doffy had created. Though his fla dragon had been majestic, it stood no chance against Kaido’s relentless assault, crumbling under the might of the Emperor’s attack.
Kaido’s expression darkened, his anger simring just below the surface. But despite his growing rage, he didn’t lose his composure.
The skies above continued to rumble ominously, a reminder of the power Rosinante wielded. Kaido knew better than to underestimate the younger Donquixote. The last encounter in Wano had taught him that much. Even as he focused on Doffy, his senses were on high alert, wary of a potential attack from the second Donquixote.
Doffy’s grin widened, but beneath that twisted smile, there was a seething, barely-contained rage. His eyes, once filled with a sinister glee, now burned with an intense fury as he glared at Kaido, the monster who had torn his family apart.
"Fufufufu... Kaido, you think you understand despair? You think you know what it ans to make soone suffer? I’ll show you what true despair is." His voice, usually dripping with mockery, was now laced with venom, each word a dagger aid at Kaido’s heart.
"The day you spared my life, you signed your own death warrant. I swear on my na as a Donquixote, and on the nas of Pica, Trebol, and every single mber of my family who fell because of your treachery... I will take your head!"
Doffy’s voice rose to a furious roar, his hatred and pain bleeding into every syllable. "I’ll present it as a requiem for their souls, a final tribute to the ones you took from !"
His anger fueled his power as he summoned a massive pillar of fla, the heat of his rage manifesting into a roaring inferno. This was not just a battle—it was an oath, a vow born from the deepest recesses of his soul. The flas that erupted from him weren’t rely a display of power; they were the embodint of his resolve, his promise that Kaido would pay for every drop of blood spilled, every tear shed, every life lost.
His pain and rage surged through him like a tidal wave, unstoppable and all-consuming, driving him forward with a singular purpose: to kill Kaido with his own hands, no matter the cost. The pillar of fla he unleashed was the manifestation of that vow, a searing testant to his unbreakable resolve.
The fiery column surged upward, crashing into Kaido’s dragon form with a thunderous impact. The force of the flas pushed the massive dragon back, scorching scales and singeing flesh.
The surrounding environnt bore the brunt of their clash. The intense heat from Doffy’s flas ignited the very air, causing the atmosphere to shimr with waves of distortion. The ground beneath their feet cracked and split, fissures snaking outward from the epicenter of their battle.
Trees burst into flas, their trunks snapping under the pressure of the shockwaves. The sea boiled and frothed, massive waves rising and falling as if the ocean itself was trying to escape the devastation. The sky, once clear, was now a swirling mass of dark clouds and crackling lightning, as if nature itself was responding to the fury of their fight.
Kaido snarled, his massive form recoiling from the fiery onslaught, but his resolve remained unshaken. "You’ve got a lot of nerve, Donquixote!" he roared back, his voice filled with unbridled fury.
With a mighty swing of his tail, Kaido surged forward again, his dragon form twisting through the air with a speed that belied his size. He closed the distance between them in an instant, his claws swiping through the air with enough force to shatter mountains.
Doffy barely managed to dodge the attack, the sheer force of Kaido’s swipe sending a shockwave that ripped through the landscape. The ground directly beneath him, where he had stood monts before, was reduced to rubble, a massive crater left in its wake.
Despite the danger, Doffy’s eyes glinted with excitent. This was the kind of battle he lived for, where the stakes were as high as the sky and every mont was a dance on the edge of death.
Kaido, undeterred, continued his relentless assault. He unleashed another barrage of attacks, his massive claws and tail smashing through the air with devastating power. Each strike was a force of nature, capable of leveling entire islands. But Doffy t him blow for blow, his flas roaring to life as he countered each attack with precision and ferocity.
Their Conqueror’s Haki clashed continuously, the sheer force of their wills tearing apart the skies above them.
Everywhere they went, the island quaked and trembled. Massive chunks of earth were torn from the ground and sent flying through the air. The very atmosphere seed to vibrate with the intensity of their battle, the pressure so overwhelming that any weaker beings would have been crushed under its weight.
Down below, Kizaru couldn’t suppress the shiver that ran down his spine at Doflamingo’s words. The raw force of the conqueror’s haki blast even managed to unsettle him, drawing a weary smile to his lips.
"Pirates sure have beco terrifying these days. Maybe I should have followed Vegapunk when he left for his new base... This incident is going to leave quite the stain on my record," he murmured to himself, his usually laid-back deanor slipping as he surveyed the battlefield below.
Chaos reigned on the island. The marines were being torn apart, and to Kizaru’s dismay, it was by re children. One in particular, the youngest among them, moved like a shadow—swift, precise, and deadly. He cut down marines with a panther-like grace, his movents almost too fast to track. Kizaru sighed, his eyes narrowing.
"That kid... He’ll beco a real headache if left alone. Maybe I should eliminate him while I have the chance," he muttered, a smirk playing on his lips.
But there was a reason Kizaru hadn’t acted yet. He knew that young Rosinante was sowhere in the sky, hidden among the thunderclouds. The kid was a force to be reckoned with, and Kizaru had no desire to provoke him unnecessarily, not with reinforcents on the way.
But as his observation haki detected the incoming backup, a decision crystallized in his mind—now was the ti to strike.
"Ama no Iwato," Kizaru whispered, launching a deadly kick in Lucci’s direction. A massive beam of light tore through the battlefield, aid squarely at the young warrior who was cutting down marines with ruthless efficiency.
But just as the light beam was about to obliterate its target, it distorted, bending under a massive pressure that seed to warp reality itself. The attack stalled in mid-air as if frozen by an unseen force.
"Jigoku Tabi," Issho intoned, intercepting the attack with a tangible pulse of gravity, forcing the light to crash into the ground, where it exploded with trendous force, creating a massive crater.
Kizaru’s attention snapped to the blind swordsman who had deflected his attack. He wasn’t surprised by the man’s identity—this was Fujitora Issho, one of the core cadres of the Donquixote family. Kizaru’s frown deepened; he had hoped to take down the promising young Lucci, but as long as Issho was around, that was impossible.
"Ama no Murakumo," Kizaru declared, materializing a blade of light. He knew that against Issho’s gravity-based powers, most of his long-range attacks would be rendered ineffective. The only way to fight this opponent was up close, where his speed could give him an edge.
Without hesitation, Kizaru launched himself at Issho, but the blind swordsman was ready. Issho brought his shikomizue up to et the blade of light, and their weapons clashed with a force that shook the ground beneath them. The impact created a crater that spread for hundreds of ters, a testant to the sheer power of their confrontation.
As Issho and Kizaru engaged in their deadly dance, Lucci, Smoker, and Gladius unleashed themselves upon the remaining marines, while Reiju provided cover fire with pinpoint precision.
The battlefield beca a blur of motion, the two titanic figures above moving at blinding speeds, their blows landing with earth-shattering force. For anyone below the level of an admiral, the fight was impossible to follow—a storm of light and gravity that threatened to tear the island apart.
To Kizaru’s surprise, Issho was not only holding his own but gaining the upper hand. The blind swordsman was relentless, each strike infused with a crushing force that pushed Kizaru back, inch by inch.
The Admiral’s eyes widened as he recognized the sword Issho wielded—there was no mistaking it, this was a Supre Grade blade, one of the rarest and most powerful swords in existence.
"Since when did Supre Grade blades beco such an easy commodity?" Kizaru quipped, his voice tinged with a mix of amusent and irritation. The last ti they clashed in Dressrosa, he had suspected, but now he was certain.
Issho allowed himself a small, grim smile. "Just a blind man’s luck," he replied, before unleashing a sudden gravity well that pulled Kizaru off balance. With a fluid motion, Issho sheathed his blade, the act alone sending out a shockwave of gravity that distorted the very air around them.
Kizaru barely managed to avoid being crushed, his light-based abilities allowing him to slip out of the gravity well’s grasp. But the effort left him montarily vulnerable, and Issho pressed the advantage, launching a series of powerful strikes that kept Kizaru on the defensive.
The battlefield trembled under the might of their clash, each impact sending shockwaves that tore through the landscape.
Below, the young Donquixote family mbers fought with a ferocity that mirrored their elders, their battles echoing the titanic struggle above. The very air seed to crackle with energy as the forces of gravity and light clashed in a display of power that would be rembered for ages.
Kizaru, for the first ti in a long while, found himself being pushed to his limits. The casual smirk that usually adorned his face was gone, replaced by a look of grim determination. He was up against a foe who not only matched him but might actually surpass him in sheer power.
The realization sent a thrill through him, a mix of fear and exhilaration. This was a battle that would not be decided easily, and the stakes had never been higher.
