The newly risen overlord, Captain Dawei of the Sea Siren Pirates, had clashed with Wilank, heir to the Ice Demon Pirates. Though Dawei had the upper hand in their duel, landing blow after devastating blow, the Sea Siren Pirates paid a heavy price.
Their fleet was decimated by an onslaught of Ice Giants and Elbaf warriors—true war machines. These giants leapt directly into the sea and laid waste to the ships, smashing them to pieces. A few weaker giants fell to cannon fire or were slain by the Sea Sirens’ elite fighters, but most rampaged unchecked.
Dawei had one powerful ally left—the Kraken. Over five hundred ters long, the beast surged from the depths and dragged three Ice Giants and five Elbaf warriors down into the abyss.
Blood stained the sea. The water roared with streams of crimson as blasts of Elbaf’s fad Spear of Elbaph ripped through the water. Spearlike ice pillars stabbed upward, forming towering spires of frozen fury.
The underwater carnage lasted more than ten minutes before silence returned. None of the giants who’d gone into the depths returned. The Kraken resurfaced—wounded and bleeding, with only five of its eight massive tentacles remaining.
But Dawei knew it would recover quickly. At that size, three limbs would grow back within a month. The beast let out a furious roar, part in agony, part in victory.
The roar didn’t scare their enemies—it enraged them.
Ten Ice Giants, each over forty ters tall, and fifteen Elbaf warriors, each more than twenty ters tall, launched a full-scale assault on the Kraken.
This was no ordinary beast—it was Dawei’s partner, his most loyal companion. He had tad the Kraken using his Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit: the Octopus Siren. It gave him incredible regenerative abilities and the power to commune with Sea Kings of the abyss.
Even the Sea Siren Pirates were nad after this bond.
Eight blades of monstrous sword energy tore across the sea, aid directly at the oncoming giants. Blood burst like sumr rain. If these warriors hadn’t had skin like stone, they might’ve been sliced in half on the spot.
"You ugly bastard! Die!!"
Wilank roared, swinging a spiked mace over forty ters long with such force it seed it could flatten all four Blues. He aid straight at Dawei—man and ship alike.
"Bahahaha~ Wilank, you useless sack of ice! And you dared to call yourself a ruler? You should’ve stayed in your frozen little hole. The second you set foot on my turf, you signed your death warrant. Today, I’ll make sure you go down in Ice Demon Pirate history as the shortest-lived captain ever!"
Dawei’s eight tentacle blades went to work. Four parried the giant mace’s devastating blow. The other four stabbed toward Wilank’s vital points.
Shluk!
Steel pierced flesh. All four blades struck ho. But the force of the counterattack shattered Dawei’s own ship beneath him.
Wilank vomited blood and staggered back, crashing into the sea and sending waves dozens of ters high. His blood quickly stained the ocean red.
Dawei landed atop floating wreckage, panting, victorious—but not yet at peace. A gut-wrenching shriek ripped through the air.
He turned, eyes wide.
The Kraken—his Kraken—was being torn apart by the surviving giants.
The water churned red.
Even the monstrous Sea King couldn’t hold against that many opponents.
"Kraken!!!"
Dawei’s eyes went bloodshot with rage.
"Captain Wilank!!"
The giants roared in return, filled with fury of their own. Ard with massive blades, spears, and shields, they surged toward Dawei in a desperate, suicidal charge.
Swimming fast and with terrifying strength, they sought to destroy every last remnant of the Sea Siren Pirates, aiming to drag Dawei—Devil Fruit user or not—into the depths.
Always strike the ship first. That was the Ice Demon Pirates’ core strategy. Most of their giants didn’t rely on Devil Fruits. Their bodies and naval warfare skills were weapon enough.
"RAAAHHHH! I’LL SLAUGHTER YOU ALL!"
Dawei, now consud with vengeance, was determined to wipe out every last one of them. He had to destroy the Ice Demon Pirates and take the title of Overlord—no matter the cost.
The Sea Siren Pirates’ remaining officers joined the slaughter. Just then, a bloodied Wilank, pale-faced, rose shakily to his feet.
"Ice Demon Pirates—fall back! We’ll settle this another ti!"
He’d faked being dead.
Now, while his n bled for him, Wilank turned tail and fled. The elite warriors who charged ahead to avenge him beca nothing more than cannon fodder—sacrifices to buy him ti.
Betrayed, abandoned, and furious, the giants shouted curses even as they fell, cut down one after another by Dawei and his officers.
Wilank escaped the waters of Island with the bulk of his forces intact—but he’d forever lost the Ice Demon Pirates’ position as an Overlord.
The Sea Siren Pirates had paid dearly. Only a few top officers survived. Wreckage and corpses drifted across the sea, the waters littered with ruined ships and fallen giants.
But they had won.
They would rule.

Before Dawei could catch his breath, a chilling voice rang out, sending a shock through his core. His eyes snapped toward the horizon, where a pirate ship was speeding toward them.
"Jehahahaha! Dawei, today you’ll either die by my hand—or kneel before . The choice is yours."
