Facing the enraged Dai Gui, Shendu showed no panic whatsoever.

His scarlet eyes narrowed slightly, revealing a trace of cunning.

"Calm down, Dai Gui."

Shendu pointed to the magnificent floating palace behind him, then at the ruins of the prosperous city beneath their feet.

"Look around. Look at this land."

"I did not forget our oath, my brother."

Shendu walked up to Dai Gui and patted the other’s calf, which was rough as rock.
