"My God, this is so exhausting! Why did that damn system send to such a random island!"
The person speaking was a young man who appeared to be in his twenties.
His na was Peter. He was a black-haired youth with a healthy tan complexion. His wet shirt clung to his well-defined abs, making him look like a cosplay of a holess character from the ani Jujutsu Kaisen.
Perhaps the only thing that made him different from a regular human was the dark brown monkey tail swaying back and forth behind him.
Peter's complaint received no reply — sothing he had gotten used to long ago.
Who would've thought that just an hour ago, he was at ho drinking unhealthy beverages and watching hyped-up TikTok clips, getting a quick dopamine fix while daydreaming about being rich and babbling sigma nonsense, before dozing off ntally exhausted?
And in the blink of an eye, he was now on this unknown island, a confused look on his face.
Not only had he seen no trace of human life, but he'd also nearly been eaten by a random tiger like it was a light snack.
Thankfully, in that critical mont — like a protagonist blessed by fate — his system activated, granting him two gift packages: the Royal Saiyan Bloodline and the Artificial Moon.
Once the system had implanted the essential information into his mind — about the world he was in and how to use the system — it went silent. This allowed him to relax, no longer fearing the slave-like systems he had read about in other web novels.
Only a status panel remained, letting him check his condition and claim rewards.
Taking another bite of the charred tiger thigh, Peter's face twisted in distaste as he chewed the overcooked, unseasoned at before forcing it down.
"Damn it. Tastes terrible... but a win is a win. It was a five-ter tiger, after all."
In his previous life, he had only seen such creatures in movies or via AI-generated images — let alone tasted one.
Looking at the tiger, now reduced to a pile of bones picked clean by his Saiyan appetite, Peter felt a flicker of fear — but he wasn't surprised.
He already knew, thanks to the information the system had given him, that this was the One Piece world.
Here, five-ter tigers were the least of your problems. Even extinct dinosaurs still road alive and well.
Not to ntion the Sea Kings — giant, beasts straight out of legend, far bigger than anything he could imagine.
"Hah~ Thinking about it that way, at least I don't have to worry about running out of food in this world."
An hour of rest had helped him co to terms with what had happened.
He wasn't just transmigrated — he also had a system to rely on. Even without it, he would've been overjoyed just to travel through the One Piece world.
With hopeful thoughts about a bright future, Peter activated the system.
'Open status panel.'
As soon as the thought crossed his mind, a transparent blue screen popped up before him.
Host: Peter
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Height: 193 cm / or 6.3 [freedom]
Bloodline: Royal Saiyan Bloodline (System gift; not directly tied to combat strength; allows user to retain consciousness after transformation)
Skills: Artificial Moon (Gift-pack skill; usable regardless of combat power)
Combat Power: 15 (Pre-transmigration: 1)
Main Mission: Spread the Saiyan bloodline in the current world. As long as you take actions to propagate the lineage, the system will reward you based on those efforts.
Note: The physical weakness caused by grabbing your tail has been eliminated.
After reading the status panel, Peter couldn't help but curse.
"Only 15 points?! That's just five more than Goku had at the start of Dragon Ball!"
Could the Artificial Moon actually be used in battle, not just for gathering intel? Like dropping a ballistic missile on your enemies?
At least the tail weakness had been removed — a big plus.
But why was his combat power only 1 before transmigration? Sure, he was lazy, gluttonous, and never exercised — but still, 1 point? That was insultingly low.
After grumbling for a bit, Peter finally cald himself.
Still, the thought of only having 15 combat points troubled him.
"No, I've got to start completing the mission the system gave ."
Peter tossed aside the tiger leg bone he'd gnawed clean, patted his rear, and stood up from the grass.
He had just been chased by a tiger from the beach to the forest.
Going back now was impossible — his combat strength was too low, and he couldn't fly. His only option was to move forward and hope he could survive.
"Alright, alright. Let's treat this like a workout. Ti to see what 15 combat power points can do."
After stretching his legs and doing so warm-ups, Peter focused in one direction and suddenly dashed forward. His body weaved gracefully through the forest, leaving behind a trail of afterimages. His speed was like a panther darting through the trees.
Just when Peter thought he'd be wandering the forest forever, five minutes later, he saw a light up ahead.
Rustle!
With a sudden leap, he stepped on a tree branch and vaulted out of the forest.
"Wait... is that a house?"
The mont he erged from the woods, he saw the silhouette of a house.
But it looked old and on the verge of collapse.
If it weren't for the thin smoke rising from a fire, he would've assud it was so long-abandoned ruin.
There had to be a reason soone would live in such a dilapidated place — maybe pirates hiding out, or soone who'd discovered a treasure. Either way, Peter's curiosity — as lethal as a cat's — pushed him to quietly investigate.
Inside the worn-down house Peter had discovered, a celebratory feast was underway. A group of young n were singing, dancing, drinking, and happily devouring at. The atmosphere was vibrant and lively.
So people sat on the ground around a fire, watching their friends perform and clapping with joy.
Among them was one middle-aged man — rugged-faced, wrapped in a blanket beneath him — with an attendant pouring him wine, giving him a hint of regal presence.
This man's na was Margin, captain and leader of the Bounty Pirate Crew.
Margin was in an excellent mood, watching his crew dance and sing. He took a large swig from his wine cup.
The attendant refilled it imdiately after he set it down.
Noticing the captain's good mood, several pirates approached with their own wine cups and began showering him with praise.
Crewmate 1: "As expected of our captain — he instantly picked the perfect spot."
Crewmate 2: "Not only are there no Marines in these villages, but the locals are rich too!"
Crewmate 3: "Captain, I admire you so much. Please, allow to toast to your greatness!"
The captain's grin grew so wide you could see his molars. The flattery clearly pleased him.
"Zehahahaha! You have to learn from . Being a pirate ans knowing where the money is — and where not to loot.
"If you don't have good judgnt, you won't survive in this world."
"Yes, yes, of course! We must always follow our captain's lead!"
The three imdiately echoed their agreent, and Margin was so happy he downed several more cups in succession.
But at monts like these, there are always those few inconsiderate n who ruin the mood.
A young recruit — newly joined and eager to earn favor with the captain — sighed with so regret and muttered:
"The only unfortunate part was running into those bastard bounty hunters on the way here... We had to throw away a lot of loot just to escape. Even the won were left behind."
