As a Marine Headquarters Colonel, Hina’s physical fitness was undoubtedly up to standard.
According to Peter’s estimation, with her current strength—even without using her Devil Fruit—if she were placed in the Dragon Ball world, she would possess a combat power of about 10. That ant she could keep up with Kid Goku or Yamcha at their first appearances.
Peter didn’t expect her to master the Kahaha just by watching, like Goku did, but at the very least, she should have quickly been able to sense "energy—Ki."

Suddenly, she pointed a finger at Carina. Thinking Hina was about to fire an energy blast at her, Carina jumped in fright and yanked Nami in front of her as a shield.
"Carina, you were sticking your tongue out and making funny faces behind Nami’s back, weren’t you? Hina saw you!"
"...Ah, that..."
Carina glanced at Nami, who turned toward her with a furious "dead-fish stare." Carina gave a sheepish laugh and quickly let Nami go.
But then, Hina suddenly turned toward Robin.
"Robin, you touched your belly twice within a single minute, didn’t you?"
Robin opened her mouth slightly in surprise, then nodded in admiration.
"That’s true. This really is impressive."
Hina smiled proudly and was about to search for another "victim," when Peter stepped forward and smacked her on the head.
"You fool! That’s not Ki I’m teaching you! That’s Observation Haki—you’ve just awakened it!"
"Whaaaaaaat?!" Hina scread, clutching her head in pain.
Peter felt despair. By his own senses, Hina’s Ki was still completely dormant; it showed none of the vitality of soone who had grasped energy.
But then he suddenly realized sothing obvious, smacking his forehead.
"Wait... since I can feel your energies, that ans you all already have Ki! My god, why didn’t I think of this earlier?!"
With his thoughts reorganized, he imdiately grew excited and began teaching everyone, one by one, how to sense Ki.
The girls all dove into the training with enthusiasm and focus.
And the results proved him right. After just a single day, aboard the Saiyan ship, Hina sat with her palms facing each other, leaving a small gap between them, her face flushed as she concentrated.
As she gathered her awareness, a tiny white speck of light, no larger than a grain of rice, appeared between her hands.
The girls around her gasped in amazent.
Vivi: "You did it! Hina actually did it!"
Nojiko: "It’s so tiny... looks like it could vanish with the faintest breeze."
Mikita: "Damn it! She beat again?! I was so close this ti!"
The speck flickered for a mont before vanishing, leaving Hina exhausted, breathing heavily—but her joyful smile never faded.
Hina’s success gave everyone hope, and they silently vowed to give their all until they, too could sense Ki.
But before they could get carried away, Peter stopped them, dragging them out of the rooms one by one.
"Enough! I didn’t teach you energy so you could neglect everything else. Don’t you rember we need to return to Rainbase? Even if you manage to sense Ki, with your weak bodies you won’t be able to fly or shoot blasts like !"
Nami, Vivi, and Kaya lowered their heads in disappointnt. After all, who hasn’t dread of flying freely in the sky? But for now, their dreams were shattered.

She missed her father, King Cobra, and the kingdom’s advisors Igaram, Pell, and Chaka, who had watched over her since childhood.
Peter smiled. "Of course you can. But know this—I don’t intend to stay long in Alabasta. Make sure to tell them that."
Vivi didn’t hesitate, agreeing eagerly. She bid farewell to the group and set off in a small boat back to the capital, Alubarna.

Peter sat down, glanced at Bon Clay sitting beside him like an obedient student, and asked:
"Tell , during my absence, did anything happen in the company?"
Bon Clay bead and eagerly recounted:
