Now reading: Chapter 197 197: Sabaody Archipelago from One Piece: Fist of the Full Moon, a Action novel by sagamaster789.

No one could have imagined that a figure whose na shook the New World, a man with a bounty exceeding 4 billion Berries, would appear at the Sabaody Archipelago.

And not only had he co—he had brought four subordinates with him. The combined bounties of this group surpassed 10 billion Berries. If so outrageously powerful bounty hunter managed to wipe them out, they would instantly beco a billionaire many tis over.

Of course… soone with that kind of strength probably hadn't even been born yet.

The mont Roldyand his crew stepped into the bar, the room fell silent.

Pirates who held modest fa in the first half of the Grand Line shrank like quails. No one dared to make a sound. So stared with admiration, others with excitent. A few, however, were already calculating the gap in strength—foolishly entertaining the idea of taking his head to use as a stepping stone to fa.

"What an unexpected guest."

Shakky exhaled a stream of smoke, turned around, and retrieved a bottle of red wine from the shelf. She poured four glasses and gestured invitingly.

"This round's on ."

Roldychuckled and didn't stand on ceremony. The four of them took seats at the counter. After sweeping his gaze around the bar, he frowned slightly.

"Where's Rayleigh? Out of money again? Don't tell he's auctioning himself off."

Ti could smooth over many things. The grudge between Roldyand Silvers Rayleigh had never been particularly deep to begin with. After Rayleigh paid a small price, the two relics of the old era had, more or less, made peace.

"Even if he's not auctioning himself off, he definitely wouldn't want to see you," Shakky said, rolling her eyes.

After the Roger Pirates disbanded, Rayleigh had settled here with her at Sabaody. But once, by chance, Roldycaught wind of it. Being the type to hold a grudge, he traveled across the seas just to fight Rayleigh.

The "small price" Roldyntioned?

Rayleigh's right arm—the arm he used for swordsmanship.

Coupled with the hidden injuries he sustained in that battle, Rayleigh's current strength had dwindled to perhaps twenty or thirty percent of what it once was.

"So," Shakky continued quietly, "you've finally made your decision?"

She clearly knew sothing—news passed on by Rayleigh himself. Even though she had long prepared herself ntally, seeing Roldynod still made her heart tighten.

It seed Sabaody was about to lose its peace.

"Roldi-sir!"

At that mont, a pirate stood up, face flushed with excitent, an axe gripped in his hand.

"I'm Midos of the Grand Line! They call 'Battle Axe'! My bounty is 90 million Berries! I challenge you! If I lose, I'll swear loyalty to you!"

He spoke passionately.

Roldi, however, didn't even bother turning his head.

Sheen, sipping his wine beside him, elbowed Moria. The latter glanced at the pirate, irritation written all over his face.

"What the hell? Why is it always doing this kind of dirty work?"

As Roldi's newest subordinate, Gecko Moria had not yet ballooned into the grotesque figure he would one day beco.

After his crushing defeat at Kaido's hands, Kaido had intended to slaughter all of Moria's crew. By coincidence, Roldyhad arrived in Wano that very day. His goal had been simple: acquire a batch of Seastone from Kaido.

Pay for it?

Of course not.

Roldyhad fists.

Recognizing Roldi, a desperate Moria clutched at his final thread of hope. Considering the uniqueness of the Shadow-Shadow Fruit and Moria's own potential, Roldyresponded.

He drove Kaido back.

Moria, leading what remained of his crew, joined Roldi's forces.

Though his spirit had dimd after his defeat, Moria was still undeniably a top-tier combatant of the seas. After undergoing Roldi's brutal training, his strength had risen another level. His fighting spirit hadn't fully recovered—but his Armant Haki had grown denser, faintly approaching the threshold of Advanced Armant Haki.

Still, as the newest mber of Roldi's inner circle, Moria's status wasn't exactly lofty.

Newcors had to earn their place.

"Kid, you're unlucky," Moria growled, pulling out his new weapon—a massive pair of scissors. "You just ruined my good mood. And 90 million Berries? Who do you think you are?"

With a single strike, he sent the so-called "Battle Axe" flying. The pirate tried to speak, but Moria acted decisively—snipping off the man's shadow, breaking his limbs, then tossing him into the sunlight.

Why not just kill him outright?

Blood would stain the floor.

As the pirate scread beneath the sunlight until his body disintegrated into ash, the watching pirates felt chills crawl down their spines.

Those who had hoped to join Roldyreconsidered. Those who had intended to challenge him hurriedly paid their overpriced bar tabs and fled.

"Fa has its downsides," Shakky remarked dryly. "Newcors buzzing around like flies."

The peace of retirent was sothing Roldywould never understand.

"To be honest," Roldysighed, "I'd love to retire early like you two. These rookies are a pain in the ass."

He had indeed recruited so newcors from the Four Blues. His total forces weren't massive—but as one of the Five Emperors of the sea, commanding ten thousand n was hardly unimpressive.

"That's what you say," Shakky replied aningfully, "but your plans don't look anything like retirent. Roldi… you understand what kind of trouble that move will bring in this era, don't you?"

Roldydrained his glass in one gulp. Unsatisfied, he grabbed the untouched wine from in front of Moria and downed that too.

"Hmph. I've killed plenty of those parasites of the sea."

Ignoring Moria's resentful glare, Roldystood. Crocodile handed him a cigar. After lighting it, he took a deep drag.

"Let's go, boys."

He exhaled smoke slowly.

"Ti to bring those nobles in the sky a little… fear from the New World."

Yes.

Roldi's target in Sabaody was the massive auction houses.

Disgusting places.

And everyone inside—including the three Celestial Dragons visiting the island today—

None of them would be leaving alive.
