Elsewhere, on the streets of the Marine Headquarters residential area, two figures were moving about.
These two were none other than the long-missing Bon Clay and iser's shadow clone!
"Rescuing soone from the execution platform carries great risks, so you must be prepared for the possibility of dying in battle," iser said seriously, looking at Bon Clay.
"Don't worry, I've long been ntally prepared for that," Bon Clay, wearing soone else's face, laughed heartily.

iser nodded, then looked toward the direction of the headquarters building and said, "Alright, next we need to..."
Before iser could finish his sentence, he detected a man appearing on a rooftop in the distance.
Looking at that all-too-familiar figure, iser frowned and said, "Aokiji?"
Why is this guy here? Shouldn't he be on the main battlefield?
"Marine Admiral Aokiji?!"
Seeing Aokiji standing on the rooftop watching them, Bon Clay's eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets in fear.
"Go do what you need to do," iser said.
"I..."
Bon Clay instinctively wanted to say he would stay to help, but rembering that the man before him was just a clone, he imdiately nodded without hesitation. "I understand!"
Then, Bon Clay fled into the distance without looking back.
A mont later...
"Whoosh~"
"Yare yare~"
Appearing on the rooftop, Aokiji looked down at iser and said, "You really made search for quite a while."
He had searched the entire rear area without detecting the Blood-Eyed Ninja's presence, and only after coming to the residential area did he finally sense the other's existence!
Sengoku was right, Aokiji thought to himself.
He never expected this guy actually secretly released a clone to cause trouble in the rear!
Fortunately, his Observation Haki only detected this one clone, which should be easy to deal with.

A massive earthen wall erupted from the ground, blocking the path of the ice spears!

The ice spears struck the earth wall, instantly freezing a portion of the rampart into ice!
Fortunately, Aokiji's attack had been blocked.
Seizing this opportunity, Bon Clay turned a corner into the streets and quickly made his escape.
"Separating to escape, huh."
Scanning the end of the street, Aokiji frowned.
'Whatever, all the residents in this area have already been evacuated anyway. No need to chase after small fry,' Aokiji thought to himself.
Having reached this conclusion, Aokiji turned his attention to iser.
Just at that mont, iser moved.
The man perford Earth Release Technique at maximum speed, burrowing underground in the blink of an eye before rapidly heading toward the sea to the side.

Sensing the trajectory of iser's movent, Aokiji looked toward the distant sea and said, "Planning to... launch a large-scale Water Release Technique?!"

With a cold snort, Aokiji quickly gave chase.
Soon, Aokiji followed iser to the adjacent sea.
"What's that situation?"
Standing on the sea surface, iser frowned while looking at the ocean behind Marineford.

"Did you do that?"
"Ah, that was ," said Aokiji calmly as he arrived nearby. "To prevent you from launching large-scale Water Release Techniques from behind, I froze the seas to the left and rear imdiately."

But when they spotted Bon Clay, they froze in their tracks.
One of them approached while the others went about their duties.
"What's your situation?" the Marine asked as he reached Bon Clay. "Why haven't you evacuated with everyone else?"
Weren't all the family mbers supposed to have left? Why was this person still here?
"I... I went ho to get so things and missed the evacuation," Bon Clay replied.
Hearing this, the Marine imdiately frowned.
What were those guys doing? They actually left a civilian behind!
At a ti like this, a civilian remaining at Marine Headquarters was practically waiting for death!
"Could... could you help leave?"
The Marine fell silent for a mont before sighing. "Even if we wanted to get you out now, it's impossible."
"Why?"
"We're at war with Whitebeard. There aren't any spare ships to evacuate you."
After a pause, the Marine continued, "But you can co with to the Marine Headquarters building. There are stationed troops there who can protect you."
While it wasn't completely safe there either, with the risk of pirate invasion... it was still much safer than staying out here.

"Damn it! How did they manage to steal a Visual Den Den Mushi?!" Sengoku roared. "Take them out, now!"
"Right away!"
The Marine scrambled down to relay Fleet Admiral Sengoku's orders to the artillery units.
"What a disgrace!"
Sengoku gritted his teeth. "To have a Visual Den Den Mushi stolen by pirates at a ti like this."
The impact on their plans was far too great!

A barrage of cannonballs rained down toward Buggy's location, sending several prisoners flying through the air!
