Back with Ben and Alvida ran into the crowd and lost the Marines.
“My love, we could have taken them on,” Alvida said.
“Yes but there Captain, we need to be careful about, he is a logia user,” Ben remarked.
“Logia,” she whispered.
“Our main task is to link up with Luffy and the crew,” Ben said. Alvida nodded. They stopped running and walked through the crowd.
“at,” they heard a loud voice coming from a restaurant. The restaurant had mosaic patterns, vibrant tilework, and arched entryway. There were hanging lanterns and potted plants.
“Looks like a restaurant, best place to find Luffy,” Ben remarked.
“Yes my love,” Alvida replied.
Ben and Alvida walked in the restaurant. There were two brown swinging saloon doors at the entrance. Inside the restaurant,there were rows of benches with shocked people looking in front. The floorboard looked old and it was creaking. The lighting was dimd.
They looked at the front and saw a man with a straw hat sitting on the bar.
“Give at,” Luffy demanded.
Ben and Alvida walked up to Luffy.
“Hey Luffy,” Ben greeted.
Luffy turned around. “Ben Alvida,” Luffy greeted back. He stretched his hand towards Ben and grabbed him. Ben flew a few feet forward and landed on a seat next to him.
“You are just in ti, I am going to eat. Join ,” Luffy said. Ben looked up and thought Luffy was crazy. He then noticed a huge gaping hole in the wall. Alvida walked up.
“This is a good restaurant,” Luffy said with a smile.
“Thank you but you should probably get away,” said a man behind the bar.
Ben realised what he ant. “Luffy, we should leave,” Ben said. Luffy started to dig into the food.
“Why Ben? Food is great here,” Luffy replied.
The man behind the bar pointed to the hole again. “Do you know who you sent flying?” the man said.
“No, but that hole is weird. Is that your hobby?” Luffy replied.
“You were the one who created it,” the man said.
Alvida sighed and shook her head. Ben chuckled.
“My love, we should leave and so should you Luffy,” Alvida said.
“But the food,” Luffy replied.
“Strawhat,” a man shouted. A muscular, white-haired, brown-eyed man, smoking two cigars at once approached them. He wore a large thick white and blue marine jacket which he keeps open. There were many cigars strapped to his jacket. He wore brown leather gloves, blue jeans with a brown belt, and brown leather boots.
“Smoker,” Ben said.
“The logia user?” Alvida questioned. Ben nodded.
“Strawhat you are here and you look like trouble makers as well,” Smoker said looking at Ben.
“I knew you would co here,” Smoker added. Luffy continued to eat. He put a large at bone in his mouth.
“Stop eating,” Smoker shouted.
Luffy looked at Smoker. Smoker looked at Luffy. Their eyes narrowed.
“You are that smokey guy,” Luffy exclaid. He spit so food onto Smoker.
“Wait a minute,” Luffy added. Luffy swallowed all the food and got up. “Ben lets go, he can create smoke and trap you,” Luffy said.
Luffy ran out. Ben also got up and ran after Luffy. “Alvida lets go,” Ben said. Alvida nodded as she followed Ben.
“Co back,” Smoker said.
Ben, Alvida and Luffy ran while Smoker chased.
“Luffy,” a man shouted. He was a muscular young man with curly black hair. He sported freckles. He was not wearing a shirt. He wore black boots, black knee-length shorts with an orange belt, and a blue pouch belted around his left leg. He wore a red beaded necklace and an orange hat with two blue smileys. He also ran after the group.
“My love we can't ran forever,” Alvida said.
“We need to give him the slip,” Ben replied.
“Okay,” Luffy said as he jumped onto the roof.
“Co back,” Smoker said as he changed his body to a white smoke and followed Luffy.
“He is going after Luffy,” Alvida said. Ben thought about the seastone-tipped jitte Smoker carried as his weapon. He thought that would be useful to have. He has the sea-stone handcuff but this weapon will be useful against logia users.
“He will be fine but I want to go after Smoker to see if I can get the weapon he has,” Ben replied and added, “Find the girls and get ready to go on the Miss Love Duck.”
Alvida nodded. “Be careful my love,” Alvida said. Ben transford into his hybrid form and flew after them. Alvida headed towards to find the girls.
Ben got to the roof tops and saw Smoker chasing Luffy. Ben pursued. Luffy was running from rooftop to rooftop. Smoker was flying behind him.
“You can escape Strawhat,” Smoker said.
"Shishish,” Luffy laughed as he jumped down and started running on the streets. Smoker followed. Ben was behind them.
Luffy then noticed his crewmates on the street corner. Zoro, Sanji, Nami, Usopp and a large humanoid reindeer were there. “Hey Zoro, Sanji, Nami, Usopp and Chopper,” Luffy said and started running towards them.
“There you are,” Smoker said. A group of marined running on the street had joined the pursuit and also spotted the Strawhat crew.
“The Strawhat crew is over there,” the marine said.
“Don't lead them there,” Nami said.
Smoker raised his hand. “White Blow,” he said as he shot a cloud of dense smoke from his arm towards Luffy. The attack was about to hit when a man shot a fireball towards the smoke.
“Heat Haze,” the man said. The attacks clashed and the fire and smoke rged together before they cancelled each other out.
“You again,” Smoker said.
“You are smoke but I am fire,” the man said. He smiled.
“Ace,” Luffy said. He was smiling ear to ear.
“Who is he?” Chopper said.
“Why is he helping us?” Usopp said.
“He is my brother,” Luffy said.
“Luffy, go ahead I will keep him busy,” Ace said.
“Okay, let go,” Luffy said as he started running with his crew.
Ben arrived as well. He stayed a bit back.
Ace exploded and created a massive firewall around him. Smoker saw this reacted by emitting smoke from his body. “White Spark,” he said. The smoke and fire clashed. A tug of war could be seen. The smoke and fire started to form a tornado as it went up in the air.
Smoker and Ace backed off. “It's pointless,” Ace said with flas coming from his body.
“White Out,” Smoker said as he shot a cloud of normal smoke from his arms.
“Fire Fist,” Ace said as she transford his fist into a flas and launched it at the smoke coming from Smoker. They both clash again. The attacks cancel each other out.
Ace then runs up to Smoker and said, “Fla Commandnt.” He started amassing fire around his body. The fire was intense. Ace then jumps in the air and raises his fist towards Smoker. "Fire Pillar,” he said as shoots the collected fla downwards towards Smoker.
Smoker saw the attack coming towards him. “White Cloud,” he said as he transford his lower body into smoke and moved towards the side to dodge the attack. Smoker flew upwards slightly as he moved to avoid it. He barely missed the flas. The ground was scorched.
Ace was still mid-air as he was falling to his feet. Smoker rushed to him and said, “White Shoot.” Smoker kicked with the lower half of his body. The kick landed however Ace transford himself into fire and absorbed the attack. They both landed on their feet.
Smoker was frustrated. Ace smiled. “White Impact,” Smoker said. Smoker first launched a barrage of his White Blows towards Ace.
Ace saw the multiple smoke attacks coming towards him. He smirked and said, “Fire Gun.” Ace pointied the index and middle fingers of both hands like guns and fired fire bullets at the attack. The attack cancelled each other again.
However Smoker was not finished as the attacks clashed with each other, Smoker jumped in the air and used his jitte to strike Ace. Ace saw the attack coming and dodged out of the way and kicked the jitte out of his hand. Smoker dropped the weapon. Ace then followed the kick with a fire fist as he punched Smoker. Smoker followed up with his own smoke fist. They both clashed and the force of the clash resulted in a gust of powerful wind which knocked people and objects back.
The jitte also flew away and landed near Ben. Ben picked with jitte and flew away as Smoker and Ace clashed again.
