While Chopper was trying to find Luffy, Zoro had split up from the group. He was walking behind them when he made a turn and walked forward. He looked around and saw there was no one there. “Those guys are lost, can't even stay on a straight path,” Zoro remarked. He added, “They are idiots.”
He looked around and saw large trees around him. He wondered which way he had to go. He thought back to what Nami said. “South,” he recalled.
At that mont a large bird landed near him. It was purple. Its bill was markedly long and narrow. It has three forward-facing toes and one backward-facing. Its head pointed to the left. “What do you want?” Zoro asked.
The bird looked at Zoro. Zoro looked at the bird. There was an intense stare. Finally Zoro said, “I don't have ti for this.”
He thought which way was South. He started to walk. The head of the bird turned right as it followed Zoro. Zoro kept walking. The head of the bird turned left. He kept walking. The head of the bird turned backwards. Zoro kept walking. The head of the bird turned left again.
Zoro looked behind, he noticed the bird moving his head. He wondered why he was doing that. “Why are you moving your head like that?” Zoro asked. The bird flapped his wings and made so noise.
“I don't get you,” he replied. Zoro started walking again. The bird turned his head to the right.
Zoro looked behind and the direction of the bird changed. He wondered what this could an. Was it mocking him, he thought. “Are you mocking ?” Zoro shouted.
At that mont, Braham approached Zoro. He saw he was arguing with the bird. “A blue sea person,” he said.
Zoro looked at him. “What do you want?” Zoro asked.
“You are our enemy as well,” Braham replied.
He pulled a dual flint-lock pistol. They were black. Zoro pulled his swords out. He knew this was going to be a fight now. Braham pressed the trigger on his pistol. Zoro was about to move when he was hit with a blinding light.
“This light,” Zoro remarked. He looked away. Braham then shot at Zoro. The bullets went towards Zoro. Zoro jumped out of the way.
Braham was wearing the Shooters.He jumped into the air and fired his guns. Zoro jumped out of the way. Braham landed in front of Zoro. He used his Shooter to increase the speed of his kick. He kicked Zoro who stumbled to the ground. Zoro got up.
“You have it now,” Zoro remarked as he charged towards Braham. Braham jumped back. He started to fire his guns. Zoro dodged out of the way. Braham fired his guns. Zoro kept bobbing and weaving to avoid the shots.
“You are strong,” Braham remarked. He then used the flash gun to blind Zoro. Zoro looked away.
Zoro smiled. He thought this may be the perfect chance to try his new technique out. He stopped. He put his two swords away. He held onto one of his swords horizontally above the shoulder of his sword arm. He then perford a circular swing that launched a compressed air projectile spiraling towards the Braham. “36 Pound Phoenix,“ Zoro said.
Braham saw sothing coming towards him. It was too late and he got hit. Braham took the full brunt of the attack and fell unconscious as he plumted to the ground. Zoro smiled. “That worked out well,” he muttered to himself.
“Looks like you are truly strong,” Gedatsu said.
“Are you one of the priests?” Zoro asked.
“I am Priest Gedatsu, serving under Enel,” Gedatsu replied.
“Perfect, I was looking for one of you, you hurt my crew,” Zoro said. He paused. His facial expression changed. “You will regret that,” he added.
“You will be the one who will fall,” Gedatsu said.
“Swamp Cloud Burger,” Gedatsu shouted. From his two special Dials hidden in his sleeves, big blobs of swamp clouds were being ford. It started to surround Zoro. Zoro jumped back.
“You sensed the danger,” Gedatsu remarked. He added, “You are right to be cautious, this cloud if it hits your head then you won't be able to breathe.”
Zoro was surprised. The swamp cloud expanded and got closer and closer to Zoro. He tried to jump away however his leg was caught on it. He was stuck. The cloud was not a regular cloud. “This feel sticky,” Zoro remarked.
“Yes, it has the properties of a swamp and the density of a cloud,” Gedatsu explained.
The cloud got closer and closer. It started enveloped his other leg. It creeped up his torso and got to his stomach. “Dragon Twister,” Zoro said as he spun with his swords to create a dragon-like tornado that blew away the swamp smoke. Zoro jumped back. He sighed in relief. “That was close,” he remarked.
“You are annoying,” Gedatsu comnted.
“Swamp Cloud Burger,” Gedatsu said again as started to create more of the swamp clouds. Zoro jumped into the air. He pressed his feet onto a tree and used it to jump forward. He went over the swamp cloud and got headed towards Gedatsu.
Gedatsu did not expect this. He saw Zoro coming, he tried to create more clouds however he was too slow. “Oni Giri,” Zoro said as he crossed his two swords across his chest and placed the blade in his mouth horizontally behind them. Zoro cut through Gedatsu. He went flying to the other side.
Blood splat from his three wounds. Gedatsu turned around and aid a dial at Zoro. He pressed a button “Jet Punch,” Gedatsu said as he threw an invisible punch at Zoro.
Zoro got hit by the attack and was thrown back into a tree. He spat blood as he slid to the ground. Zoro got up. ”You are full of tricks,” Zoro said.
Gedatsu looked at his clothes all ruined from this fight. “You have ruined my clothes, you will pay for this,” Gedatsu said.
Zoro looked at Gedatsu. Gedatsu looked back. “108 Pound Phoenix,” Zoro said as he held his two swords horizontally above the shoulder and the other in his mouth in the sa direction. Zoro perford a circular swing that launched three air compressed projectiles spiraling towards Gedatsu.
“Jet Punch,” Gedatsu said as he launched his invisible punch at the attack. The two attacks clashed and Zoro`s attack destroyed Gedatsu. The three air compressed projectiles went towards Gedatsu. He saw his fate and accepted it. He got hit by the attack. He was flunk into the air. Blood leaking from his many wounds. He landed with a big thud on the ground as he went unconscious.
Zoro put his swords away. “This place is dangerous,” Zoro remarked. He looked at the bird whose head was pointed to his left. “You again,” Zoro said as he walked to the right.
