In another part of town, in a closed workshop, Usopp was hamring away at Going rry to fix a broken plank. Franky, Mozou and Kiwi were trying.
“That is so sad,” Franky comnted.
“You left your friends from East blue, just for a ship,” Kiwi cried into a tissue.
“What are you guys crying over?” Usopp asked.
Franky, Kiwi and Mozou were all on the floor and held their hands outs. “You dummy, we are not crying. You dummy,” Franky cried. He added, “But I was moved by you protecting this ship by yourself.”
“We are not crying, None of us are crying,” Kiwi and Mozou said.
“What is their problem?” Usopp muttered to himself. “You should know, those guys and I are no longer friends,” he added.
Franky had tears going down his face. “Let sing a song about your hardship,” Franky said as he pulled out guitar. “The song title is Severed Friendship Northern Wind Chop,” he said.
“Are you mocking !” Usopp shouted.
Franky sat back down and drank a cup of tea. “It's hot,” he shouted as he fell down.
“Will you settle down,” Usopp shouted.
Franky got up. “You must be holding a grudge against us. We stole 200 million beli from you guys,” Franky said. “You must want it back but I spent it all,” Franky added as he posed.
Usopp looked at him but went back to hamring away. “So what are you going to do? You are not going back. Why don't you join us?” Franky asked.
“I am not joining you to beco a ship demolisher. I am a pirate,” Usopp stated.
Franky had tears in his eyes. “Please listen to my song, titled Pirate Code,” Franky replied as he took his guitar out.
“Like I said, are you mocking ?” Usopp shouted. “Besides, is not Aqua Laguna coming?” Usopp asked.
“It is but, we should be helping each other out to evacuate,” Franky replied.
“That does beco a pain every year,” Usopp said.
“It does but people do it but, it becos worse every year the island sinks because of the rising water levels,” Franky replied.
“But you now have the sea train,” Usopp responded.
“We do but that only has been around for a decade. A brilliant inventor Tom created,” Franky said.
“Besides, what are you planning to do after this?” Franky asked.
“I am going to set sail and take this ship back to East Blue,” Usopp proudly replied.
“No, you won't be able to go to East blue. It is too far first of all. When we pulled up the ship, we observed it very carefully,” Franky said as he thought back to when they had captured Usopp and the Going rry. They put the ship on a crane and pulled it up. Franky saw the ship was in bad shape however he looked at the bottom of the ship and saw there were planks of wood. He looked shocked. “This ship is dying, at the end of her life,” he added.
“No, she is not,” Usopp replied.
“She is,” Franky said as he cracked his knuckles.
“I won't allow it,” Usopp said. He added, “rry is my ship.”
“She is not,” Franky replied.
“What?” Franky said.
“I asked you before, what were you going to do after this. If you are going to sail this ship and offer your live to the sea, then that is okay and I would have not said anything,” Franky remarked. He added, “But you said you wanted to sail back to East Blue on this ship so I am trying to stop you brother.” “This ship can no longer get to the next shore,” he stated.
Franky ran up and grabbed the railing of the ship. “A ship which cannot get you to the next shore, is not a ship,” Frnky shouted as he ripped the railing and the wood attached to her.
“Get off her,” Usopp shouted as he fired his slingshot at Franky. Franky moved back.
Franky then ran towards Usopp and grabbed him. He flunk him into the air. “If you don't get it then see for yourself,” Franky said as Usopp hit the water. He sank down and saw a massive tal plate holding the bottom of the ship together. He could see the keel was damaged.
Usopp swam back up. He saw the piece of wood on the floor. He dragged it back. “Sorry rry. I will fix you up,” Usopp said as he started to hamr away.
“Did you not see the bottom? The keel is damaged, at every wave the panels will give away until it is no more,” Franky remarked. “How can you understand that?” he asked.
“Shut up,” Usopp replied. His eyes looked furious. He dropped his hamr and fell to his knees. “I knew it all along. I knew it from the bottom of my heart, the Going rry was at the end of her life,” as he started to cry.
“One night when the ship was broken, I knew I saw sothing. There was soone hamring away trying to fix the ship. We made a lot of small tweaks to the ship however this person knew what rry looked like. Everyone said it was a dream but I know what I saw and it said, I will carry you a little longer,” Usopp explained. “I know it sounds stupid I thought that was the incineration of rry,” Usopp added.
“I bet the ship knew she was at her limits and turned into that form to let us know,” Franky replied.
“You might think I am crazy. You don't have to believe ,” Usopp said, wiping his tears.
“Believe you? The person looked like a sailor holding a wooden hamr?” Franky asked.
“Yes, how do you know?” Usopp asked.
“You saw a Klabauterman,” Franky replied. He added, “It's one of the legends among sailors, it's a fairy that dwells on ships which are greatly cared for. They carry wooden hamrs and wear sailors' raincoats,” Franky explained.
“When danger approaches, they run around their ship and let everyone know,” Franky added. “The more care the ship received, the more it appreciates,” Franky continued.
“rry,” Usopp said.
They heard the doorbell go. “I wonder who that is?” Kiwi asked.
“Maybe Zambia,” Mozou replied.
“They should know how to get in,” Franky said. The doorbell kept going.
“We are coming,” Kiwi shouted as they went to open the door.
Franky looked at Usopp. “The ship is dying, she cares for you so much she ca in her human form. How would she feel if she sank in the middle of the ocean with you guys on. She will die filled with regrets. Let her die,” he stated.
“If that was your friend would you be saying that?” Usopp asked.
At that mont, Kiwi flew back and hit the ground. Mozou got kicked in the face and went down. “Sorry, you took too long to open the door,” Kalfia said as she touched her glasses.
Kaku, Lucci and Blueno all looked at Franky and Usopp.
“You guys are from the Galley-la,” Franky said.
“We have co to take it,” Lucci said.
“Take what?” Franky asked.
“Don't play stupid, we know Iceburg gave you the blueprints for Pluton,” Lucci responded.
“Is Iceburg okay?” Franky asked.
“We shot him, the Love Pirates tried to save him by breaking the floor but they fell into a floor filled with fire rigged by us,” Lucci replied. He added, “The building will explode.”
Franky got mad. “Strong right,” Franky said as he launched his right fist forward at Lucci.
“Shave,” Lucci said as he moved quickly towards Franky. He got close and punched him in the face and he went flying back and crashed into the wall.
“A secret room,” Kaku comnted.
“Don't look there,” Franky said. He saw the painting and where there were naplates of Tom, Iceburg and Cutty. Frank thought back to his master.
Kaku and Kalifa both kicked Franky in the face and went flying into the air and landed back. Blueno walked over and tied him up.
Usopp looked as Franky was beaten. Blueno walked in and saw there was nothing of note. Kalifa and Kaku walked in and ransacked the area. “There is nothing here,” Kaku confird.
“You have injured 100s of governnt officials and civilians. Cutty Flam,” Lucci said. “We will take you to Enies Lobby to integrate where the blueprints of Pluton are,” he added.
