Ivy, Cherry, PR, HQ and NT stood on the deck of the Miss Love Duck.
Cherry was running around as usual. She was sprinting across the deck. “This is fun,” Cherry said.
“Cherry,” Ivy said. “You are causing trouble again,” Ivy added.
“I’m not,” Cherry said with a playful pout, crossing her arms. She turned to NT. “NT, can you do that trick again? Pretty please?” she asked.
NT chuckled softly. “Sure thing,” she said as she raised her hand, and the air around her began to hum faintly. Sand ca out of her hand. Slowly, the sand grew into a small but powerful tornado.
Cherry gasped in delight as the mini tornado expanded around her. She was gently lifted her off the ground. She squealed with laughter as the wind currents cradled her and made her bounce lightly in the air like a leaf caught in a playful breeze.
“This is amazing!” Cherry exclaid, her hair fluttering wildly as she twirled within the safe confines of NT’s whirlwind. Her laughter filled the air as she stretched her arms out, pretending to fly.
“Cherry.” Ivy remarked.
NT smirked, clearly enjoying the spectacle. “Hold on tight, Cherry. I’ll give you a little spin!” she teased, adding a slight twist to the tornado. Cherry twirled gently, giggling uncontrollably as the world spun around her.
“Okay, okay! Don’t make too dizzy!” Cherry said, still laughing, her cheeks flushed with exhilaration.
NT stopped. Cherry was on the ground. She was trying to regain her balance. “I am dizzy, “ Cherry said as she landed on her butt.
“Cherry,” Ivy sighed.
“You should let her have so fun, Master said,” HQ said.
Ivy thought back to Ben, her Captain, he said to relax and take care of herself. She also thought of her devil fruit. He gave sothing so special, so powerful to her. She thought she was worthy of it.
“Are you thinking about your devil fruit?” PR asked.
“I am, I am worried,” Ivy responded. “What if I am not worthy of it,” she muttered.
“My Emperor gave it to you,” NT said.
“Yeah you should be happy with your gift,” Cherry said as she got up.
Ivy thought she should be. “But how do I use it?” Ivy asked.
“Just think about what you care for the most,” HQ responded.
“It cos off naturally,” PR added. Ivy thought naturally. She thought about who she cared for the most. She looked at Cherry talking to everyone. She then thought of Ben.
“I see sothing,” Cherry shouted as she looked towards the island.
“We have company,” NT said. They looked out and in the distance, a massive group of figures erged, their silhouettes stark against the horizon. There were n, pirates and Marines marching with a nacing unity. The air grew heavier as they approached.
“I count 500,” HQ added.
“500?” Cherry said with her eyes opened.
“Do we need to call them back?” Ivy asked as she looked worried.
“Master, tasked with defending the Miss Love Duck,” HQ responded.
“There are no robots here,” NT added.
“Only regular people,” PR said.
“But there are many,” Ivy said.
“But we are stronger, my emperor is,” NT said.
“We have a few tools to even our numbers,” HQ said.
“PR, Ivy can you hold them off?” HQ asked them.
“Sure,” PR responded.
“?” Ivy questioned. She had fought before but lost. PR had saved them.
“Rember my Master, trust you,” HQ responded as she gave the Veridian Enigma over to Ivy. It was a double barrel pistol.
Ivy held it. “Trust yourself,” HQ said. HQ nodded to PR. “You want to see sothing cool?” HQ asked Cherry.
“I do,” Cherry said.
“NT, why don't you use the King Canon?” HQ asked. NT nodded.
PR and Ivy headed towards the approaching crowd of n. Ivy was hesitating, her steps were unsure, and her worried expression. “You’ve got this,” PR reassured her. Ivy glanced at her and nodded hesitantly.
As they moved closer, the group of n lood larger. PR raised her hands, shaping her index and middle fingers into pistols. “Fire Gun,” she said. Flas ignited at her fingertips, transforming into compressed fire bullets. She unleashed a barrage of projectiles, each bullet slicing through the air with a searing trail of heat. The fire bullets struck the n, piercing their bodies with bursts of fla. The impact was devastating; each target ignited briefly before disintegrating into radiant light. One by one, they fell.
Ivy’s breath quickened as one of the n broke through the chaos, charging directly at her. Panic surged within her as she raised her gun, her hands trembling. She squeezed her eyes shut and pulled the trigger. The gun fired with a sharp crack, the bullet tearing through the air. When she dared to open her eyes, she saw the man stagger backward, clutching his chest where the bullet had struck. He turned to light and dropped sothing.
“There is more coming to the right,” PR said.
NT had made her way to the Bridge. She sat down and opened the King Canon by pressing a button. The roof opened up and the King Canon rose up. NT rotated the King Canon. She then
pressed the button. The explosive charge ignited, propelling the round into the vast expanse. In an instant, the air fractured with a resounding boom as the projectile hurtled towards its destination, leaving behind a trail of smoke. The Miss Love Duck shook at the force. The shell travelled through the sky. The shell hit the ground near where a large group of n gathered. building and exploded. A huge explosion was seen. Derby went flying everywhere and a large mushroom cloud was seen.
Ivy took cover and planted herself on a rock to prevent her from flying back. PR braced herself in the air. “It was like back then,” Ivy said as she heard the sound of the shell when it destroyed Simon`s base. At that mont, Ivy saw a robot coming towards them.
It was Pau Ra Pa who lifted her left hand. She powered her large cannon. It glowed bright and fired a beam. The beam went flying through the air and hit a group of Marines. There was a loud explosion and the n went flying into the air and hit the ground. They all turned to light.
“Wow,” Ivy said.
At that mont another group of n ca towards Ivy. “Saint Elmo's Fire,” PR said in mid air. She hurled long lances made out of fire at the group of n. The lances hit the n and burnt their bodies. They were turned to light.
At that mont, another cannon shell whistled through the air and struck the ground with a deafening impact. The explosion that followed was imnse, sending shockwaves rippling through the battlefield. A towering mushroom cloud of fire and smoke erupted into the sky, engulfing the area in chaos. The sheer force of the blast hurled four dozen n through the air like ragdolls. Dust and debris rained down as the ground itself seed to tremble. The n turned into light.
Pau Ra Pa raised her hand and down another pirate. The pirate turned to light.
From the distance, HQ pushed the joystick as she drove Lexie. Lexie powered through. “Go on, Cherry,” HQ remarked.
“We are coming Ivy,” Cherry shouted. She pressed a button. The laser cannon charged up and fired a beam. The beam travelled and hit the ground in front of the soldiers. It exploded and the pirates got impacted. They went flying in the air and landed on the ground with a big thud. They turned to light.
“Looks like Cherry is there,” PR remarked.
“She is also here?” Ivy asked.
“She is,” PR responded. PR soared through the smoky battlefield. She spotted a group of n gathering below, she hovered mid-air. "Fla Pillar," PR said as she raised her arms, summoning flas. The air around her shimred with heat as a vortex of fire began to form, swirling. The flas coalesced into a towering pillar of molten fury, blazing a searing path straight into the sky. The n below were engulfed by the inferno. The sheer force turned them into light.
Over the course of a few hours, Pau Ra Pa, HQ and Cherry in Lexie, PR and NT raining down shells with Ivy helping took care of the n.
HQ stopped Lexie. Cherry and Lexie got up. “Looks like that is the last of them,” HQ said, looking at Ivy and PR.
“Yes, these were just regular n,” PR responded.
“There are a lot of packets right now,” HQ said. Over the next few minutes they picked up all the packets.
“We can make 200 Heal Drinks and 200 Stamina Drinks,” PR remarked.
“Master said we can do it now,” HQ said. They all nodded and headed back.
