Kaya, Vivi, Marianne, Conis, Raki, Maya, Honey, Nojiko, Saphir, Mikita, Zala, Alvida, Robin, and Kalifa had all gathered on the deck of the Miss Love Duck, forming a circle around the battered chest that now sat in the center. Ben stood closest to it, his arms crossed.
“So this chest ca from that sinking ship?” Mikita asked, tilting her head curiously.
Ben nodded. “Yeah. We found it floating among the wreckage,” he responded.
“That ship… there were no survivors?” Zala asked.
“No,” Ben replied simply.
“And there was blood?” Raki asked.
“Yes. Lots of it,” Kaya asked and it looked like it was before the ship collapsed.
A heavy silence fell over the group for a few monts. The girls exchanged uneasy glances.
“Could it have been a storm?” Maya asked.
Alvida crossed her arms and tapped her finger against her elbow. “I don't think so,” she said. She turned her eyes to Vivi. “The way you described the damage, Vivi... it sounds deliberate. Too clean. Too violent,” she added.
Vivi nodded. “It wasn’t like the usual aftermath of a storm,” she responded.
“Soone attacked it?” Marianne asked, eyes wide.
“We don't have enough evidence to be certain,” Robin said calmly. “But it is a possibility,” she added.
Ben took a breath. “Either way, we need to stay sharp. If soone capable of destroying a ship like that is nearby, they could be a threat to us too,” he said. The girls all nodded.
“The sea is filled with monsters,” Kalifa said, touching her glasses.
“Should we see what is in this chest?” Nojiko asked. “It may have a clue,” she added.
“Maybe,” Honey agreed.
“Lets see,” Zala said as she walked up to the chest. She kicked it and the lid ca off. They saw an orange blob.
“What is this?” Conis asked.
At that mont, a short older lady who wore red blush and lipstick on her sowhat wrinkly face appeared. She had two curls and a purple bow on each side. She also wore a blue pearl necklace and a black and purple dress with green marking.
“An old lady?” Saphir asked.
“Saphir,” Vivi said. “I am sorry for her rude behaviour,” Vivi said bowing down.
“Princess,” Robin responded.
“What are you doing here?” Zala asked.
“Where is the treasure?” Nojiko asked.
“I am Roba and I threw it in the ocean,” Roba responded.
Ben thought of cha Island imdiately. He smiled. “Maybe we should throw you off,” Ben said with a light heart.
“That is cruel,” Kaya responded. However she saw a smile on his face. She thought he might have a plan.
“Want to do it my love?” Alvida asked with a smile on her face.
“No, I was on a ship,” Roba said. She looked at Kalifa. “It was you, you killed everyone,” she shouted.
Everyone looked speechless. “What?” Maya questioned.
Kalifa touched her glasses. Ben was taken by this. The ship had been sunk by a storm in the original. “What do you an?” Ben asked.
“Kalifa has not,” Saphir defended her.
“She was a Cipher Agent,” Robin reminded them.
“A forr one,” Mikita said. She looked at the old woman.
“Captain, I did not attack this ship,” Kalifa responded.
“I trust you Kalifa,” Ben said looking at her. He smiled.
Kalifa smiled back. “Was it her for sure?” Ben asked. “Look carefully,” he added.
Roba looked at Kalfia carefully and thought she was different. The other one looked younger. “It was not you, you are slightly older,” Roba said.
“Kalifa, where is your younger sister?” Ben asked.
“You have a younger sister?” Marianne questioned.
“You are ant to share everything,” Honey said.
“She will share when it is ti,” Alvida responded.
“I was going to bring it up in the next few days,” Kalifa responded as she touched her glasses. “Captain, last ti I had heard she was looking for Jewelry Bonney,” Kalifa said.
“Bonney?” Vivi asked.
“Bonney has a lot more history,” Kaya observed.
Ben thought she did get beaten by Bonney. It would be good to include her in the harem, he thought.
“Pervert,” Kaya added.
“Sexual harassnt,” Kalifa added.
“We will include her in the harem my love,” Alvida said.
“Another sister,” Zala teased.
The girls giggled. Ben cleared his throat. “Roba, we can take you ho if you let us take the treasure,” Ben said.
“The Golden Crown?” Roba asked.
“Yes,” Ben responded.
“Do you believe in it?” Roba asked.
“I do,” Ben stated.

“Nojiko set a course for it,” Ben said.
“Sure Captain,” Nojiko responded.
“Another adventure,” Kaya said with a smile on her face.
