"I captured the Third Tsuchikage, Onoki. I slaughtered thousands of Iwa ninja. I cut off one of the Fourth Raikage's arms. I also took down their Jinchuriki."
"Alright, that's enough talking."
"You have one minute to decide. Fight, or hand over the Three Tails."
i Terumi glared at Brook furiously, but even she could not deny that the pressure coming from him felt terrifyingly real.
"What?! What kind of nonsense are you spouting?!"
A burly mber of the Kaguya clan roared angrily. Bone spikes protruded from both of his hands, and his eyes were bloodshot as he glared at Brook with murderous intent.
Not only did he find Brook's words absurd, most of the Mist ninja present felt the sa.
Only three people among the Seven Ninja Swordsn shuddered.
Fuguki Suikazan, Kurosuki Raiga, and Biwa Juzo exchanged glances, then silently retreated several steps.
Because this atmosphere felt far too familiar.
Back then, they had looked down on a Konoha genin with the sa arrogance.

Kirigakure, hidden within the island nation of the Land of Water, was veiled in mist all year round. The environnt was rich in water chakra, making it far easier for the Mist ninja to unleash Water Release techniques while conserving their own chakra.

anwhile, White Zetsu Tobi returned to his old tricks. Hidden underground, he constantly dragged corpses into a newly opened underground chamber, collecting bodies for Brook.
As for the three surviving mbers of the Seven Ninja Swordsn of the Mist, they had stayed near the rear and avoided the direct impact of [Shinra Tensei]. When they saw the Fourth Mizukage suppressed in a single exchange, all three hesitated.
Should they really rush in and save Yagura?

Suikazan Fuguki sneered at the young ANBU mber with open disdain. To him, this so called supervisor could be cut down in an instant.
"Three seniors, have you really been scared by Konoha ninja? What exactly are you afraid of?"
Kisa Hoshigaki frowned. He had been watching them the entire ti, and the fact that the three of them had retreated together had already made him suspicious.
The once dreaded Seven Ninja Swordsn of the Mist had been reduced to this. It was honestly disgraceful.
His gaze swept across the three famous swords, then lingered for a mont on Sahada strapped to Fuguki's back. He felt that blade was far more suited to him.
"Kid, are you questioning the three of us? We're studying the enemy and looking for weaknesses. Don't get in our way."
Raiga Kurosuki snorted coldly. In his eyes, Kisa was nothing more than a young upstart who had only recently beco a jonin. Even if he was talented, he was still nowhere near worthy of lecturing three elite jonin.
Kisa sensed their dissatisfaction and simply lowered his head and retreated. He had already done his duty by warning these three old cowards.
Still, after Kisa's reminder, the three swordsn finally moved. They chose not to engage Brook or the others directly, instead turning their attention to the giant summoned beasts.
Brook looked far too dangerous, and the rest of his group were no weaklings either. Compared to those monsters, fighting the summons felt much safer.
So the three of them rushed at the giant bird, the rhinoceros, and the hellhound. None of them had the courage to challenge the towering Gedo Statue.
"i Terumi, go support the Mizukage!"
Seeing that no one was making a serious effort to rescue Yagura, Genji imdiately ordered Kirigakure's strongest rising star into battle.
"Yes, Master!"
i Terumi showed no fear and rushed directly toward Brook, determined to display her power to these intruders.

The orange, tailed beast like body of Yagura was hit by i's Lava Release in full, and the Three Tails Jinchuriki let out a painful howl on the spot.
"Lord Mizukage!"
i shouted in fury. This enemy had actually used the Mizukage to block her attack. It was shaless.
But the tails extending from the Gedo Statue, wrapped in dense chakra, swept outward and instantly scattered the remaining corrosive lava.
The adamantine chains tightened once again around the transford body of Yagura, binding him more firmly than before.
Inside him, the Three Tails Isobu was already panicking.

Those words made the Three Tails feel true despair for the first ti.
It had always cooperated well with Yagura because Yagura was calm, rational, and easy to work with. That was why he had beco a perfect Jinchuriki.
But now, that sa determination had beco the reason the Three Tails could no longer escape.
For the first ti, Isobu felt that today might truly be the day it died.
