"Only minor injuries?" Senju Tobirama's brow locked tight, and a quiet shock stirred within him.
He had concentrated every last bit of his Chakra into the Hard Vortex Water Blade, yet it had still only managed to inflict such negligible damage on Kaido.
This level of defense was simply terrifying beyond asure.
Kaido scoffed and said coldly, "Is that all you've got? You haven't even managed to tickle !"
Before his words had finished, Kaido's dragon body shuddered violently, and his enormous tail swept toward Senju Tobirama like a descending mountain range.
"Flying Thunder God Technique!"
His figure vanished in an instant and evaded Kaido's attack.
The gale stirred up by Kaido's dragon tail still tore up the surrounding ground, however, sending shattered rock flying in every direction and filling the air with dust and smoke.
Senju Tobirama's figure reappeared on Kaido's other side, his hands rapidly forming seals as he called out in a low voice, "Water Release, Water Dragon Projectile!"
A massive water dragon rose up from the ground, its body enormous and bearing trendous force.
A flash of impatience crossed Kaido's dragon eyes, and his jaws snapped open wide as terrifying energy condensed within his mouth.
The surrounding air seed to ignite from the sheer heat of that energy, and the scorching temperature turned the sky a blazing crimson.
"Heat Breath!"
Kaido let out a low roar, and a world-destroying dragon breath erupted from his mouth.
The dragon breath carried scorching heat and annihilating force, and it obliterated the Water Dragon Projectile in an instant.
The water dragon evaporated into vapor in midair and dissolved without a trace.
The residual force of the dragon breath did not stop there, however, and continued surging toward Senju Tobirama.
The blazing flas seed poised to incinerate everything in existence, and even the air itself warped under the extre heat.
'If that lands a direct hit, even an Impure World Reincarnation body would probably be wiped out entirely.'
Senju Tobirama assessed the situation with calm focus.
His gaze was sharp and cold, and his hands rapidly ford seals as he called out in a low voice, "Flying Thunder God Slash!"
His figure vanished in an instant, and the dragon breath struck the spot where he had been standing, scorching the ground instantly into a field of char.
Senju Tobirama did not stop there, however, and used the Flying Thunder God Technique to redirect the energy of the dragon breath continuously.
A flicker of puzzlent crossed Kaido's dragon eyes, as he had not expected Senju Tobirama to wield spatial ninjutsu with such flexibility and redirect his attack.
"This guy is actually pretty capable." Kaido murmured quietly, his voice carrying a note of surprise.
In the next mont, however, Senju Tobirama's figure reappeared, and his hands swung out sharply as he called out in a low voice, "Transfer!"
The Flying Thunder God Technique redirected the energy of the dragon breath entirely, and the blazing flas struck Kaido's own body in an instant.
Boom!
A trendous explosion rang out, and Kaido's dragon body took a direct hit from his own dragon breath, the blazing flas burning wildly across his body.
His body plumted from the sky and crashed heavily into the ground, gouging a massive crater in the earth as dust and smoke billowed outward.
"Now!" A gleam of killing intent flashed in Senju Tobirama's eyes, and his hands rapidly ford seals as he called out in a low voice, "Hard Vortex Water Blade, Modified!"
This was a compound technique into which he had poured every last bit of his Armant Haki, and the water blade spun in his hand with trendous force before slicing straight toward Kaido's dragon body.
Crack! Crack! Crack!
The water blades struck Kaido's body and erupted into massive waterspouts, which tore at Kaido's scales with savage, raging force.
Several deep wounds appeared across Kaido's dragon body, and blood gushed from them and stained the ground red.
"It worked!" A surge of elation rose in Senju Tobirama's heart, and his hands ford seals again as he called out in a low voice, "Water Release, Water-Severing Wave!"
Several high-pressure water blades shot from his hands and sliced directly toward Kaido's wounds, attempting to tear them open further.
However, at the very instant the water blades were about to strike Kaido, a terrifying wave of Conqueror's Haki suddenly erupted.
Boom!
The Conqueror's Haki swept across the entire battlefield like a raging gale, and Senju Tobirama's water blades were shattered apart in an instant, scattering to the ground as countless droplets.
Within the dust and smoke, Kaido's figure slowly rose, his dragon body gradually shrinking as he returned to human form.
"RAAAGH!"
Kaido threw his head back and roared, his voice thundering like a clap of lightning.
His body was covered in wounds, and blood seeped slowly from them, yet his gaze had grown only fiercer, like a great beast roused to fury.
"Not bad at all." Kaido's voice carried a cold laugh, his tone drenched in killing intent. "But playti is over!"
Senju Tobirama's brow furrowed slightly as he watched those wounds closing at a speed the naked eye could follow.
Kaido shifted into his hybrid form, muscles coiling beneath his skin, his body covered in azure scales.
He looked at Senju Tobirama, his tone carrying a note of genuine appraisal. "You did well. Those moves of yours are strange, I'll give you that, but unfortunately... your Haki is too weak."
Senju Tobirama's brow locked tight, and he quietly acknowledged the truth of Kaido's assessnt within his heart.
He had been exposed to Haki for far too short a ti, and although his exceptional comprehension had allowed him to grasp the basics rapidly, compared to a powerhouse of Kaido's caliber, his Haki was genuinely lacking.
On top of that, he did not possess a Sage Body like Senju Hashirama and had no ans of boosting his Haki quickly.
The two clashed again, and Kaido's strength left Senju Tobirama stunned.
Even a single punch left Senju Tobirama's arms numb and sent his body stumbling back repeatedly.
"Flying Thunder God Technique!"
Senju Tobirama could only keep flickering across the battlefield using the Flying Thunder God Technique to evade Kaido's attacks.
Yet Kaido's speed and strength far exceeded his expectations, and even with the Flying Thunder God Technique to aid him, he could only barely hold on with no prospect of winning whatsoever.
"Hmph, all this dodging around is getting on my nerves!" A flash of impatience crossed Kaido's eyes, and he threw his head back with a thunderous roar.
"Thunderclap and Flash!"
Kaido's Devil Fruit ability erupted in an instant, dark clouds massing across the sky as countless bolts of lightning rained down.
The range of the lightning was imnse, covering almost the entire battlefield, and although Senju Tobirama kept flickering out of the way using the Flying Thunder God Technique, he was still struck by several bolts.
Crackle!
The force of the lightning paralyzed Senju Tobirama's body in an instant, causing his movents to slow for just a mont.
A savage grin crossed Kaido's eyes, and his figure appeared directly in front of Senju Tobirama in an instant, his spiked club raised high and bearing down with fearso force.
"Thunderous Eight Trigrams!"
Kaido let out a low roar and brought his spiked club crashing down, unleashing a surge of savage lightning force.
Senju Tobirama's body was locked in place by the lightning and could not move at all.
"One down." Kaido's voice was rciless.
Yet at the very instant the spiked club was about to strike Senju Tobirama, a massive wooden wall suddenly burst up from the ground and positioned itself in front of him.
Boom!
The spiked club smashed into the wooden wall and sent a trendous shockwave rolling outward, the wall was pulverized, but Senju Tobirama was able to break free in the process and fell back quickly, putting distance between himself and Kaido.
"Brother..." Senju Tobirama murmured quietly, and he admitted to himself that he was still not strong enough.
"This world really is sothing."
Senju Hashirama walked forward slowly and ca to stand at Senju Tobirama's side, looking at Kaido with a calm, steady gaze.
"Kaido, your opponent is ." Senju Hashirama said in a low voice, the faintest trace of a smile in his tone.
A gleam of fighting spirit flashed in Kaido's eyes, and he said coldly, "Senju Hashirama, I have been wanting to et you for a long ti!"
