As Roy's words fell, an overwhelmingly powerful aura erupted from him, surging straight toward Conan like an invisible shockwave.
Conan was montarily taken aback, thinking to himself in surprise, "Borsalino, Isn't that a hat? How could it beco a person's code na?"
However, he had no ti to dwell on whether this strange code na was reasonable, because the most important thing now was to rescue Haibara as quickly as possible.
So Conan suppressed his doubts and, with a dark expression, continued to press, "What did you do to Haibara?"
Roy let out a cold laugh, which made Conan's heart sink.
But before Roy could say more, Conan suddenly crouched down without warning, and at the sa ti, a soccer ball appeared and was kicked with lightning speed straight at Roy.
Almost the instant the soccer ball was launched, the watch on Conan's wrist activated silently, a faint glint flashed from its cover, and then a tiny tranquilizer dart shot toward Roy like an arrow from a bow.
With his soccer ball and tranquilizer dart, Conan had subdued countless criminals ti and again.
But this ti, he fell into unprecedented despair.
Roy stood there like an immovable mountain, extending one palm to easily catch the high-speed soccer ball, kicked by his reinforced shoes and hurtling like lightning, while his other hand closed two fingers with astonishing speed, precisely pinching the incoming tranquilizer dart!
"Hmph, you've got quite an array of tricks, Kudō Shin'ichi."
A cold smile curled at the corner of Roy's mouth, his mockery unmistakable.
"Damn it…" Conan gritted his teeth, filled with anger and frustration.
Facing such a powerful and formidable opponent, he felt helpless for the first ti.
"So? Are you ready to face death, Kudō Shin'ichi?"
The sneer on Roy's face grew more twisted and terrifying, like a demon from hell, sending chills down one's spine.
Large beads of sweat rolled down Conan's forehead, his heart racing and breath quickening.
Just as Conan was about to give up all hope, a cold voice suddenly rang out: "Alright, stop scaring him."
The familiar voice instantly stunned Conan—it was Haibara Ai!
She actually appeared here! And she didn't seem to have been hard? Could it be that the Black Organization kept her for so other purpose? Conan's mind raced with thoughts.
With that, the tension that had been gripping his heart finally eased slightly.
"Haibara, be careful of this guy, he's a mber of the Black Organization, code-nad Boraslino!"
Conan shouted urgently, trying to warn Haibara Ai from a distance.
But unexpectedly, Haibara Ai just gave Roy a blank look, her eyes showing a hint of speechless exasperation.
Seeing this, Conan stood frozen, montarily at a loss.
Just then, Roy suddenly seed to change completely, quickly shedding his earlier nacing smirk for a gentle, friendly smile.
Then, he slowly crouched down and gently reached out to pat Conan's head.
"Hehe, actually, I'm not a mber of the Black Organization you think I am."
Roy said with a smile, explaining.
Hearing this, Conan's eyes widened, staring at Roy in confusion. After a long pause, he stamred, "Th-then who are you?"
"Haha, ? I'm actually Miyano Shiho's fiancé. I ca all the way here to find her."
Roy winked, a mischievous grin appearing as he teased with those words.
As soon as he finished, not only was Conan dumbfounded, but even Haibara Ai, usually cool and reserved, flushed bright red as if struck by lightning, a mix of embarrassnt and irritation adding an extra charm to her already lovely face.
"Don't listen to him! I don't have a fiancé!" Haibara Ai hurriedly waved her hands to explain, her face fully red, her eyes flustered. Her anxious look truly shocked Conan, who had never seen the normally calm and composed Haibara Ai so flustered.
At that mont, Haibara Ai was both embarrassed and irritated, glaring at Roy as if her eyes could pierce him. But when she saw his ever-gentle smile, her anger seed suppressed by an invisible hand, and she found herself speechless, as if her throat were clogged.
"Ahaha…" Roy then let out a hearty laugh, breaking the slightly awkward atmosphere. "Alright, alright, just joking. Actually, I'm just a regular friend of Shiho's."
Hearing this, Haibara Ai inwardly sighed in relief and rolled her eyes at Roy, thinking he was truly unpredictable.
And Conan, who had just been toyed with, naturally didn't believe him so easily.
Conan looked at Haibara Ai with a skeptical expression, as if waiting for a definite answer.
Seeing this, Haibara Ai nodded slightly, confirming Roy's words.
Only then did Conan let out a long, relieved breath.
"Ai-chan, Conan, what are you two doing here?"
Just as the three were still caught up in the little incident, Dr. Agasa's voice rang out.
Everyone turned to see Dr. Agasa approaching with long strides.
"Oh, who's this?" Dr. Agasa asked curiously, looking at the stranger standing next to Conan and Haibara Ai as he drew closer.
Roy smiled and introduced himself to Dr. Agasa.
Afterward, the four went to sit on the sofa in the living room and began to talk.
"So, you really are Haibara's good friend?"
Conan sat on the sofa, resting his chin on his hands, observing Roy thoughtfully.
Then, as if sothing occurred to him, he suddenly said, "And it seems Haibara told you about the organization too."
With that, Conan fixed his gaze on Roy, trying to catch any clues from his expression.
"I know a little," Roy said with a slight smile.
