"Don't even think about escaping," Saint Peter and Saint V. Nusjuro sprouted demonic wings from their backs as they chased after Big Mom.
Seeing this, Big Mom was visibly shaken and shouted, "Zeus, accelerate!"
"I told you, you cannot escape," Saint V. Nusjuro said coldly, gripping his blade. With a swift motion, he unleashed a ghostly green slash.
However, the attack was not aid at Big Mom herself, but at the Thundercloud Zeus beneath her feet. With a single strike, Zeus was cut into dozens of fragnts, instantly robbing Big Mom of her footing and sending her plumting from the sky.
"Oh no, Protheus, save Mama quickly!" she shouted.
"Okay, Mama!" Protheus rushed forward at once and caught her falling body.
But in that brief mont, Saint Peter had already closed the distance.
"Don't even think about escaping!" he roared, opening his massive jaws and biting down fiercely onto Big Mom's arm.
"Ahhh! Damn it, let go of !" Big Mom roared in pain. Her left arm was clamped tightly within Saint Peter's sandworm-like form. She swung her right arm to strike him, but Saint Peter ignored the blow entirely.
"Nusjuro, finish her off!" Saint Peter shouted.
"Leave it to ." A cold glint flashed across Saint V. Nusjuro's glasses as he drew his blade and executed a swift technique.
"One-Sword Style, Iaido, Demon Slayer!"
A chilling slash tore through the air, carrying an overwhelming freezing force. The sword energy cut across the sky and struck Big Mom directly. Blood burst from her wound, only to freeze instantly into crystalline fragnts.
The residual force extended across the sea, leaving behind a frozen scar stretching for dozens of kiloters. Even the clouds above were split apart and frozen in place.
"Ugh..." Big Mom's eyes rolled back as she coughed up blood, which froze before it could fall. Her body slipped from Protheus and began to descend helplessly.
"Mama..." The mbers of the Big Mom Pirates turned pale in terror.
They were still near Whole Cake Island. Watching their captain, who had stayed behind to buy them ti, fall so quickly filled them with fear and despair. Charlotte Katakuri and the others could only watch, powerless to intervene.
On another part of the battlefield, Marco struck down yet another Holy Knights mber. The system's voice echoed again.
"Defeated Holy Knights mber, Saint Donquixote Kuzan, reward, 7000 attribute points."
"Killed Holy Knights mber, Saint Donquixote Kuzan, reward, 5000 attribute points."
Another 12000 attribute points were added. Marco's total had now reached 28000, only 2000 short of upgrading his Armant Haki.
At that mont, he witnessed Big Mom's defeat, and his expression hardened. Even soone of her strength had fallen so quickly under the combined assault of two Gorosei.
Trying to save her would be futile. Facing two of them at once, even he could not end the battle quickly.
Marco's gaze sharpened as he turned toward the remaining Holy Knights. To him, they were nothing more than opportunities to grow stronger. If he wanted to survive what was coming, he needed more power, and fast.
"Old hag..." In the distance, Kaido watched in shock. He had barely begun his escape when he saw Big Mom fall.
That single mont of hesitation gave Imu an opening.
"Dark Torrent..."
A purple circle ford before Imu, and from it erged countless dark energy arms that shot forward and wrapped tightly around Kaido's massive dragon body.
Kaido had taken his full beast form to maximize his speed, but now it worked against him. His enormous body struggled violently, trying to break free from the grasp.
At that mont, Saint V. Nusjuro transford into a massive beast, a monstrous boar. Opening his jaws, he bit down viciously onto Kaido's body, his fangs piercing through the dragon's tough scales.
"Ahhhhh!" Kaido roared in agony, blood spraying from his mouth.
"Even a dragon has its weak points," Saint V. Nusjuro said coldly as he shook his head violently, tearing into Kaido's flesh.
In response, Kaido lunged forward and bit back, his own fangs sinking into the boar's thick hide.
"Let go of !"
"Ugh..." Saint V. Nusjuro grunted, clearly injured, yet he refused to release his grip.
"Don't get carried away, Kaido."
At that mont, Saint Garling appeared and slashed downward. His blade struck Kaido's mouth, slicing through the dragon's cheek and forcing it shut.
"Damn it..." Kaido growled, unable to exert strength through his jaws.
High above, Imu looked down coldly.
"This is the end."
Another dark circle ford in Imu's hand, and from it shot countless black spikes. They pierced through Kaido's massive body one after another.
The enormous dragon trembled as blood poured out, his strength rapidly fading.
Slowly, Kaido's massive form began to descend from the sky.
