Old-Town Island – City Hospital

After being patched up and bandaged to the point of looking like a mummy, Luffy devoured the equivalent of a warehouse of food and soon after went to sleep.

That, combined with a good nap, was enough for him to wake up as good as new the next day.

Leaving the hospital after completely ignoring the doctor's request for him to rest a few more days, Luffy ets Maria, who is entering the hospital.

"Hi Maria, are you visiting soone who got hurt?", Luffy waves at her with a smile on his face.

"I'm visiting you, you idiot. What are you doing out of bed? You need to rest", she runs to him, worried and irritated by his carefree and clueless attitude.

"Nah, I'm fine, it was just a scratch. Besides, I want to buy so weapons for a friend. Do you know where I can find weapons in town?"

"…Sigh… How can dealing with you be so stressful?"

"I don't get it."

"Never mind, co on, I'll show you where the weapons store is", they then head towards the weapons store.

On the way, many people stopped them to thank Luffy for saving the city. They gave him fruits, food, clothes, and so even approached him proposing marriage for their daughters.

Luffy, of course, declined the marriage proposals, but he gladly accepted the rest.

Arriving in front of the weapons store with a large sign reading "Ammu-Nation" above the entrance, they enter and are greeted by a wide variety of weapons, ammunition, and related equipnt.

Hearing the bell above the door, a middle-aged man with a mustache wearing camouflaged green clothes and a fisherman's hat cos out from the back of the store and greets them.

"Hello there, welco to the haven of freedom. Bob Malour at your service. What can I do for you?"

"Hi, my na is Luffy and I want to buy so weapons, ammunition, and anything else that catches my interest."

"Ohoh, I recognize a freedom lover when I see one. You know, I usually don't show my custom-made weapons to just anyone, but I took a liking to you, and besides, you freed the city from Lampião's grasp. So, this is the least I can do for a hero like you", Bob says as he leads them to an arsenal hidden in the back of the store.

"I'm a pirate, not a hero, and I refuse to be seen as one", Luffy puffs his cheeks and crosses his arms while following him.

"Alright, Mr. Pirate, what kind of weapon do you have in mind?", Bob says, showing them nurous weapons behind a counter.

"Hmmm, do you have sturdy pistols that can take various types of special and different caliber bullets?"

"I think I have just what you're looking for", he then bends down and retrieves a decorated box from the counter "I present to you what I consider my masterpiece, the 'Malorian 3516.' It's a semi-automatic, 6-round magazine, that accommodates any type of bullet, and the gun's body is extrely sturdy and durable. It can easily function without maintenance for several years."

Inside the box were two large pistols, one was matte silver with a burgundy grip, and the other was matte black with a white grip.

"Wow, I'll take both. Do you have extended magazines and silencers for them?", Luffy says with his eyes shining in admiration of the weapons.

"I do, just a mont", Bob crouches and opens so compartnts at the back of the counter until he finds what he's looking for and places them in front of Luffy "Here, 12 bullets per magazine and the best silencers you'll find."

"Great, I'll take two silencers and how many extended magazines do you have?"

"Hmmm, I have about a hundred, but I also have a machine that automatically makes more magazines. You just need to put in the raw materials and it does the rest. Interested?"

"Alright, I'll take the hundred extended magazines and the machine you ntioned. I also want a large box of ammunition, and do you happen to have a machine that makes custom ammunition?"

"I was going to suggest that next. So, it'll be two Malorian 3516s, two silencers, a hundred extended magazines, a box of ammunition, a magazine-making machine for both extended and regular magazines, and another that makes custom bullets?"

"That's right. I also want the raw materials to make magazines and bullets."

"Okay, all of that will be 50,000 Berries."

After paying, Luffy receives help from Bob and Maria to take everything he bought and received as thanks back to his ship.

Luffy then takes the opportunity to buy all the supplies he needs for his departure.

Maria then asks him a bit sadly "Are you leaving already?"

"Yes, I need to continue my journey", Luffy then sses up her hair.

"Stay for today. Tomorrow you leave, and since you're leaving tomorrow, the people were planning a party today to celebrate Lampião's defeat, so it will be a farewell party as well", she says, grabbing the hem of Luffy's clothes.

"Why didn't you ntion there was going to be a party before? Co on, Maria, this is going to be a party worthy of a pirate", a very excited Luffy leaves the port, hopping with Maria trying to catch up with him.

=Scene Break=

"Urgh, what a hangover", Luffy wakes up in a corner of the square, hugging a half-empty bottle of rum. Around the square, several people are seen sleeping.

"Good morning, Luffy", Maria looks at Luffy with amusent.

"Urgh, you don't have to speak so loudly. What happened at the party, anyway?"

"Well, you decided you wanted to try rum and—"

=FLASHBACK=

As everyone drank and socialized in the square, the band seed to be getting ready to play. Suddenly, Luffy, without the sea stone bracelet, appeared in the square drawing everyone's attention as he moonwalked across the square to the stage where the band was. Then, altering his vocal cords, he began to sing with Michael Jackson's voice.

"Aaow!"

At the sa ti, the band began to play.

"Tcha!"

"Shoo-cha-choo-cha!"

"Shoo-cha-choo-cha!"

"Tcha! As he ca into the window

Was a sound of a crescendo, Tcha!

He ca into her apartnt

He left the bloodstains on the carpet, Tcha!"

"She ran underneath the table

He could see she was unable

So she ran into the bedroom

She was struck down, it was her doom."

He then began to dance like Michael Jackson in the video, and at this point, no one could take their eyes off him.

"Annie, are you okay?

So, Annie, are you okay? Are you okay, Annie?

Annie, are you okay?

So, Annie, are you okay? Are you okay, Annie?

Annie, are you okay?

So, Annie, are you okay? Are you okay, Annie?

Then Luffy starts singing with a higher-pitched voice, with the band accompanying him as backing vocals.

"Annie, are you okay?

Will you tell us that you're okay? Tcha!

There's a sign at the window

Then he struck you, a crescendo, Annie."

"He ca into your apartnt

He left the bloodstains on the carpet, Tcha!

Then you ran into the bedroom

You were struck down, it was your doom."

=Scene Break=

At this point, everyone was dancing, eating, or drinking, when the band started another song.

Luffy, dancing among the villagers with a bottle of tequila that he took sips from occasionally, started singing.

"Your butt is mine, gonna tell you right, ah

Just show your face in broad daylight, ah

I'm tellin' you on how I feel, ah

Gonna hurt your mind, don't shoot to kill

Sha'mon, ah, sha'mon

Lay it on , ah, alright."

"Ah, i'm givin' you on count of three

Just show your stuff or let it be, ah

I'm tellin' you just to watch your mouth

I know your ga, what you're about."

"Well, they say the sky's the limit

And to , that's really true

But my friend, you have seen nothing

Just wait till I get through."

The backing vocals start singing with Luffy as he climbs onto a table and starts dancing like Michael Jackson, holding his straw hat in one hand and the bottle in his groin with the other.

"Because I'm bad (bad), I'm bad (bad)

Sha'mon (really, really bad)

You know I'm bad (bad), I'm bad (bad)

You know it (really, really bad)

You know I'm bad (bad), I'm bad (bad)

Sha'mon (really, really bad), you know

And the whole world has to answer right now

Just to tell you once again

Who's bad?"

Everyone was jumping and headbanging while Luffy on stage was doing the sa, holding the microphone and singing.

"Those who died are justified

The band's guitarist starts a solo while Luffy jumps around the stage.

"Huh!"

"Yeah"

When the solo ends, Luffy starts singing quietly with anger while shaking his head forcefully.

"Fuck you, I won't do what you tell

He then starts singing loudly while jumping around the stage.

While everyone was dancing and enjoying the music, Luffy was jumping around the stage, drinking rum from a bottle and singing.

"Tirou a roupa, entrou no mar

Sem roupa ela é demais

Também por isso

"Ainda bem que eu trouxe

With the lody playing in the background, Luffy starts to rhy, raising and lowering his arm.

"Deixa eu falar procê

Tudo, tudo, tudo vai, tudo é fase, irmão

Logo mais vamo arrebentar no mundão

De cordão de elite, 18 quilates

Põe no pulso logo um Breitling

Que tal? Tá bom?"

Around the square, so people were already seen sleeping against the walls of the buildings.

"De lupa Bausch & Lomb

Bombeta branco e vinho

Champagne para o ar, que é pra abrir nossos caminhos

Doing a strange dance, spinning both arms in the sa direction, Luffy continues singing without even knowing where he is anymore.

"Yeah, I'm gonna take my horse to the old town road

I'm gonna ride 'til I can't no more

With a dragged voice imitating a country accent, he continues.

"I got the horses in the back

Horse tack is attached

Hat is matte black

Got the boots that's black to match

Ridin' on a horse, ha

You ain't been up off that porch, now."

At this point in the night, most people were either passed out sowhere in the square or had already gone ho.

anwhile, very drunk, Luffy was hugging a drunk Jerson, both with one hand up, singing together.

"We are the champions, my friends

And we'll keep on fighting till the end

We are the champions

No ti for losers

'Cause we are the champions of the world."

=END OF FLASHBACK=

"Awww, man, I had so much fun and I don't rember anything", Luffy says, feeling down for not rembering the party.

"Maybe don't drink so much next ti?", Maria suggests, shrugging.

"Right, from now on I won't drink alcohol anymore, unless it's for a very special occasion."

=Scene Break=

After recovering from the hangover, Luffy spends so ti interacting with Maria and company, telling them various stories from our world, like Batman, Spider-Man, Transforrs, etc.

After a while, they head to the port, where he calls Chico, who was relaxing nearby. After tying the boat to the King of the Sea, he says goodbye to everyone and sets off in the direction of the call.

"Take care, Luffy", Maria shouts, waving to Luffy as he moves away from the shore.

"Bye everyone, keep an eye on the newspapers, in a few years I'll show up a lot there", Luffy shouts back, waving.

After moving far enough from the island, Luffy heads to the bow of the boat and starts talking to Chico.

"So, buddy, what did you do while I was on the island?"

"Chico ate so fish, relaxed on a nearby coral reef, and kept an eye on Lu's boat."

"Cool, I'm in the mood for so fresh fish for lunch today, so I'll fish at the stern of the boat, okay?"

"Don't worry Lu, Chico takes care of the boat's movent", he puffs his chest with pride for being responsible for the movent alone.

A few hours later, after eating a giant fish he caught, Luffy starts to feel sick, then notices purple spots slowly appearing on his arms.

"You're kidding , I ate a poisoned fish, right?"

Suddenly, he spots a gigantic snail carrying a castle on its back approaching his boat. Already starting to hallucinate, he sees a beautiful woman with pink hair standing at the edge of the platform where the castle resided, whom he identifies as Vinsmoke Reiju, looking at him with interest.

"Hi there, you look like a guy I know nad Sanji. Do you happen to have an antidote to get this poison out of ?", That's the last thing Luffy manages to say before passing out.
