Grand Line – Paradise
Sowhere in the middle of the sea – On the way to the next island
"Is Vivi okay?", Luffy asks worriedly while thinking in the back of his mind, 'Fuck! You must be fucking kidding .'
"No, she's not. I examined all of us and also searched through all my books, but I don't know what illness we're having or how to cure it. Nami, Nojiko, and I are only in better condition than Vivi because of the training we went through. Look at this, I think we were bitten by an insect in Little Garden", Kaya responds, taking the opportunity to show her concern about the situation, revealing a red insect bite on her left shoulder and on Vivi's stomach.
"Sa here", Nojiko says, showing the red insect bite on her waist.
"Here too, and since Little Garden is an island with a closed ecosystem frozen in ti, we have no way of knowing what kind of unknown diseases the insects on that island carry", Nami argues, also showing the red insect bite on her ribs.
'Ahhh, go fuck yourself world! Just because I made everyone use repellent, you decide to disregard logic and make all the girls in my crew get stung and fall ill? Fuck you, bitch', Luffy thinks while seriously staring at Vivi, who is lying in bed looking like she's suffering, unconscious, with a red face and sweating profusely.
"I… this is beyond my abilities, guys, I can't treat this illness. We need to get to Drum Island as fast as possible", Kaya says, clenching her jaw, feeling useless.
"Stop blaming yourself, you silly girl. You ca from a small island in the weakest of the Blues. It's not even two months since you started studying dicine seriously, and you're still doing this on your own without proper guidance. Understand that you're already doing a lot. Knowledge and experience only co with ti and effort", Nami says, flicking Kaya on the forehead to snap her out of her self-pity.
"I'll tie the ropes to the rry to start pulling it", Luffy says, with a seriousness that catches everyone's attention, already heading out of the room.
"Wait, Luffy! Pulling the rry right now will only get in the way. We don't have an Eternal Pose for Drum. We have to be careful not to end up going in circles! Kaya, take care of Vivi and keep her stable, but don't overexert yourself. If you're not feeling well, then rest. We'll take care of the rest. Sis, help Kaya with whatever you can. anwhile, I'll handle the navigation as much as possible", Nami stops Luffy from doing a stupid thing before explaining to everyone the action plan she ca up with.
"No, no! All of you rest. We'll take care of everything", Luffy says, worried.
"Don't worry, ladies! We'll take care of everything. I don't know much about dicine, but I know food has healing effects too, and by the way, I'm a very good chef", Sanji says, also concerned about the girls' situation.
"Yeah, don't worry. Usopp will handle the helm as usual while I handle the navigation. I'm a human compass, so we won't have any problems", Zoro says, thinking he was reassuring them with his words, which wasn't the case. In fact, everyone just chose to ignore what he had just said.
"Luffy! I know you're worried about us, but this is the only way. Trust , I'll get us to Drum safely. I can do it", Nami says, holding Luffy by the shoulders.
"...Alright", after a long pause, staring at her with a worried look, Luffy says, giving in, before then turning to his brother and saying, "But Sabo takes over as soon as her condition starts to worsen."
"Relax, I know how to navigate the Grand Line, not as well as you, but I can manage", Sabo says, when seeing Nami's reluctance about Luffy's decision.
"…Sigh… fine, enough talking, let's get back to work. We need to pay attention to our surroundings so we don't end up getting lost", Nami says with a sigh, putting everyone back to work.
Stepping out onto the deck, Nami murmurs after feeling only a weak breeze, "Shit! The weather changed. This damn sea... I can't relax for even a second."
She then turns to the crew and says, "We're heading the wrong way, change the rry's course to the South."
"Right! Let's get to work, everyone!", even without understanding why they had to do this, Zoro says, going to help Usopp steer the ship.
And then, shortly after they change rry's direction, everyone witnesses a colossal cyclone forming behind them.
"Yeah, Luffy, I have to admit, your navigator was born for this", Sabo says, impressed by Nami's abilities.
"Of course, that's my girl", Luffy says, crossing his arms, standing protectively next to Nami.
=Scene Break=
Two days later, the rry sails through a snowstorm, with all of its crew mbers on high alert.
Inside the ship, Kaya was doing her best to keep Vivi stable, despite barely being able to stand, looking like she was about to faint at any mont. Taking care of the doctor was Nojiko, who was in a slightly better condition than her, and Sanji, who was helping with whatever was necessary.
anwhile, on rry's deck, Nami, completely bundled up in bulky clothes, with a red face, sweating profusely, and having difficulty breathing, turns slightly to look back and says softly, "Luffy, I know you're worried, but is this really necessary? I an, I like it, but you're overdoing it."
To understand what was happening, Luffy was very worried about Nami, and becoming overprotective for no reason at all, he grabbed a bunch of blankets, wrapped Nami in them, and spent most of those two days hugging her tightly from behind.
"Stop complaining and just accept it. You want to be stubborn and not let Sabo take your place, so I have to protect you from the cold", Luffy says sullenly.
"Hmm, I think in the future I'm going to start pretending to be sick, so you'll gonna get all affectionate like this with ", Nami says, smiling weakly.
"Don't even think about it, I'm affectionate with you all the ti. You don't need to pretend to be sick to co cling to ", Luffy says softly.
"Just so you know, I'm going to hold you to that in the future", Nami comnts as she looks at a map of the region, trying to pinpoint exactly where they were at the mont.
And then, at that mont, Zoro, perched in the crow's nest of the rry, shouts with a binocular in hand, drawing everyone's attention. "Hey, guys! There's a person walking on the ocean further ahead!"
"If it were Jesus, that would be cool. He'd help us, but unfortunately, it's not", Luffy murmurs, with a serious look on his face, knowing what was coming and not liking it one bit.
"There really is a strange person standing in the middle of the sea", Nami comnts softly, straining to see.
"What the fuck is that?", Usopp asks, frowning.
"It's a submarine", Sabo comnts after using his Observation Haki.
"Woof woof woof woof" "I don't think they have good intentions", Chouchou barks, expressing what his instincts were warning him.
"Quack? Quack quack?" "Serious? A submarine?", Karoo quacks, asking in surprise.
As soon as rry gets close enough, everyone stares at the stranger as he does the sa.
"It's cold, isn't it?", the stranger suddenly asks.
"Yeah, it's really cold", Usopp automatically responds.
"Isn't it?", the stranger comnts, agreeing.
"I don't think so, it looks normal to ", Luffy comnts, which ans nothing since he was wrapped in blankets with Nami.
And then, suddenly, the giant submarine erges from the sea, causing the rry to sway violently.
"Is everyone okay?", Inside the ship, Sanji asks, holding Nojiko, Kaya, and the bed Vivi is wrapped in blankets.
"What's going on?", Nojiko asks weakly.
"Stay here, I'll go see what's going on outside", Sanji says before heading out to the deck.
"IMPRESSED? SURPRISED? BEHOLD, MY ATTACK GIANT SHIP, THE BLIKING!", a presumptuous voice shouts from the foreign submarine.
