Across the distant sea, Charlotte Smoothie and Vista locked eyes. The two renowned fighters had crossed blades more than once over the years.
Vista maintained his usual gentlemanly smile, but to Smoothie, it was nothing but irritating. Her gaze sharpened as she spoke in a cold tone.
"Flower Sword Vista, the remnants of Whitebeard never fail to be troubleso. Enjoy that smile while you can. Regret is coming soon. By now, Brulee and the others should have succeeded."
Almost as if on cue, a violent explosion erupted within the town on Raina Island. Thick smoke billowed into the sky as the sudden chaos sent nearby people into panic.
"What is happening? Is this an attack?"
"No idea, just run!"
In the confusion, a blade flashed from behind several logistics pirates, cutting them down instantly, though not fatally. The attacker revealed herself as Charlotte Amande, one of Big Mom's daughters.
Dressed in a sleek bodysuit with gloves and a sword at her side, she carried herself with sharp confidence. Her strength rivaled that of a Marine Headquarters Vice Admiral. Behind her, a wave of pirates surged forward, many grinning as their plan unfolded.
"Charge! Kill Roger's subordinates!"
"Totto Land stands above all!"
Chaos spread rapidly. The rear forces, already unprepared, were quickly overwheld. Leading the assault was Charlotte Cracker, one of the Sweet Commanders, accompanied by several powerful mbers of the Charlotte family.
Among them stood Charlotte Oven, his Heat-Heat Fruit ability radiating intense heat that warped the surrounding air and began lting nearby structures.
The already thin defensive line collapsed almost instantly under the sudden ambush.
A sharp alarm rang across the battlefield, causing those engaged in the naval exchange to tense up. The rear had been breached.
Marco's expression shifted as he observed the situation. There was only one person in the Big Mom Pirates capable of infiltrating so quietly.
Soon, a figure appeared, an older woman with a hooked nose and an eerie presence.
Charlotte Brulee.
The user of the Mirror-Mirror Fruit.
Marco's suspicion was confird. Her ability allowed her to move freely through mirrors, accessing the Mirror World and erging anywhere connected to it. It was a rare and highly versatile power.
What troubled him was how she managed to get onto Raina Island. The island had been sealed for three days. No outsider should have been able to enter unless she had been hiding there all along.
The sudden shift in battle made Silvers Rayleigh lose so of his earlier ease.
"Marco, should I handle them while you hold off Linlin?"
Marco shook his head. "No need, Rayleigh-san. Soone else will take care of them."
Although the ambush caused brief confusion, Marco quickly regained control. The Big Mom Pirates had likely revealed most of their key forces. Based on numbers, they were still at a disadvantage.
Totto Land would never leave itself undefended. At least one Sweet Commander would remain behind. That ant their current force was incomplete.
In the town, a fierce figure cut down enemies with overwhelming force. It was Cracker, advancing without restraint.
"Brat, do not get ahead of yourself."
A deep voice interrupted him.
In the next instant, Cracker was struck by a powerful punch. The impact shattered the biscuit armor around him, exposing his true form, a younger man with short purple hair.
Blocking the path ahead was Byrnndi World.
Behind him stood four seasoned pirates. Though few in number, their presence alone forced the advancing pirates to hesitate.
Whispers spread quickly among the Big Mom Pirates.
"The World Destroyer, Byrnndi World. So the rumors were true."
"He actually joined Roger's crew."
"Why is it called the Aether Pirates now instead of Roger Pirates?"
"Who cares? Focus on the fight in front of you."
Cracker stepped forward again, regaining his footing as both sides entered a tense standoff.
Then the battle resud.
Byrnndi World coated his entire body in Armant Haki, his skin turning jet black. His fists accelerated through his ability, striking with overwhelming force. Each blow drove Cracker backward, forcing him to retreat repeatedly.
Fury flashed across Cracker's face.
"Old man, you dare stand in my way? You are asking to die. Biscuit Soldiers!"
Using his Biscuit-Biscuit Fruit, Cracker created dozens of heavily armored soldiers. Their durability made them difficult to break under normal attacks.
Unfortunately for him, Byrnndi's strength was anything but normal.
One punch after another shattered the biscuit soldiers, sending fragnts flying in all directions. anwhile, Cracker stayed behind his creations, relying on numbers to exhaust his opponent.
It was a common tactic against older fighters.
But Byrnndi had no intention of playing along.
He pulled out two massive cannonballs, enlarging them to nearly twenty ters in size, and hurled them directly into the swarm of biscuit soldiers.
The surrounding pirates froze in terror.
Even Cracker's expression changed as he quickly retreated.
"You lunatic, you are within the blast range too!"
Byrnndi raised his arms, his entire body still coated in Armant Haki, and laughed loudly.
"I do not care. If it takes down, I will still take you with !"
A deafening explosion followed.
The center of the town erupted into a massive blast, sending a powerful shockwave outward. Pirates on both sides were knocked off their feet as debris scattered everywhere.
Taking advantage of the chaos, Byrnndi's subordinates pressed their attack harder.
Nearby, an elderly woman fought fiercely, knocking down several enemies with her fists. However, the strain quickly caught up to her.
"Damn it, I planned to save this."
She took out a prepared potion and drank it without hesitation.
Before everyone's eyes, her frail body began to change. Her posture straightened, her form becoming youthful and powerful. Her height increased, and within monts, she transford into a striking woman with a curvaceous figure and long legs.
Gone was the appearance of an old woman.
She smiled confidently. "This is my true form, Goushin Ryojin."
The pirates of the Big Mom crew stared in shock.
"What just happened?"
"How did she beco young?"
