Aether slowly opened his eyes, feeling the rising warmth in the room. His gaze shifted to the woman resting beside him. Her peaceful sleeping face drew his attention, stirring a brief mont of reflection. After what had happened the previous night, their fates had beco undeniably intertwined.

Leaning closer, he placed a gentle kiss on her forehead before quietly getting up. He gathered his clothes and prepared for training. The Marineford War was approaching, and even the slightest improvent in strength could make a difference.

The chain appeared as a silver length of tal, with uniquely shaped wedges at both ends. It could extend and shrink freely, and even repair itself if damaged.

Aether stared at it in silence.

Drawing such a high tier weapon from a Purple Draw should have been a stroke of luck. Unfortunately, its true power depended on the enemy possessing divinity.

In this world, who qualified as divine?

The Four Emperors? The Admirals? The Ancient Weapon Poseidon? Or Imu, the mysterious figure seated upon the Empty Throne?

Aether exhaled slowly, irritation rising.

Around noon, inside the palace dining hall of Amazon Lily.

Aether sat calmly with a bowl of food, stopping Hancock as she tried to pile more into it. Instead, he placed a nutritious portion into her bowl.

"Hancock, you should focus on recovering. You need it more than I do."

She lowered her gaze slightly, cheeks faintly flushed.

"I understand. Thank you, Aether."

To her, his restrained tone felt gentle and considerate.

As she ate, her thoughts drifted.

"Aether, you must take care of yourself too. In the future, we will have many children. I hope our daughter will be as beautiful as ."

Her words caused an awkward silence around the table.

Her sisters exchanged uncertain glances, while Gloriosa covered her face, clearly exasperated. Yet she could not deny she had once behaved the sa way.

Shaking off the mont, Gloriosa spoke carefully.

"Snake Princess, Aether will be heading to Marineford. You should answer the Shichibukai summons. It will help him, and also preserve your position."

Hancock's expression shifted instantly, returning to her proud and composed deanor.

"I have no desire to assist the Marines or the World Governnt. However, if Aether wishes it, then I will go."

Aether nodded.

"You cannot afford to lose your Shichibukai status. This is not for , it is for Amazon Lily as well."

Hancock accepted his reasoning without hesitation.

"Very well. I will answer the summons."

Aether then turned his attention to Luffy, who was eating enthusiastically.

"I also need you to take Luffy to Impel Down. He intends to rescue his brother, Portgas D. Ace."

At the ntion of his brother, Luffy imdiately looked up.

"Yes, please take ! I have to save Ace!"

Hancock studied him briefly before nodding.

"I can take him, but hiding him will not be easy."

Aether raised his hand and produced the invisibility cloak.

"Use this. As long as he wears it, he will remain unseen unless detected by advanced Observation Haki. Luffy, return it when you are done. Also, take this talisman. Use it when you reach Level Six of Impel Down."

Luffy accepted both items, eyes shining with gratitude.

"Thank you, Aether. I will definitely return them!"

Without hesitation, he put on the cloak. His body vanished instantly.

Aside from Aether and Hancock, who could sense him with Observation Haki, no one else could detect his presence.

Gloriosa stared in astonishnt.

Such a mysterious item, even she had never encountered before.
