Aether did not care whether others believed he was Roger or not. The more they believed it, the easier it would be for him to harvest experience later. By joining this war, his goal was not only to gain experience, but also to secure a position as one of the winners. He had not gone through the effort of bringing Rayleigh here just to watch from the sidelines.
Facing the Marine's strongest lineup, Aether had no intention of charging in recklessly. With Monkey D. Garp, Sengoku, and the Three Admirals standing opposite him, acting impulsively would only lead to being surrounded.
After a brief mont of consideration, Aether called out directly.
"Newgate, we cannot wait any longer. We need to push into the harbor imdiately. The Marines are planning to trap your crew on the frozen bay, then raise the walls to encircle and wipe everyone out. They also have a group of Pacifistas that have not moved yet."
Edward Newgate looked at him with surprise. How could this man know Sengoku's plan? Since he arrived with Silvers Rayleigh, it was unlikely he was a Marine spy.
"Gurarara! I do not need you to tell how to fight. But why did you co here with Rayleigh? Do you not understand how dangerous this war is?"
Aether answered without hesitation.
"I did not intend to co. Rayleigh insisted I help save his nephew, so I had no choice."
Rayleigh shot him a sharp glare but said nothing, which only made Whitebeard take the statent seriously.
"Thank you, Rayleigh. With your help, I will rescue my foolish son."
Rayleigh paused, then studied Whitebeard carefully. Beneath that imposing figure was a body already in decline. Whitebeard's confidence was not as firm as it appeared.
Before the mont could settle, Aether spoke again.
"Newgate, Ace is Roger's son, not yours."
The sudden statent stunned those nearby. At a ti like this, bringing up such a matter seed completely unnecessary.
Yet for Aether, hearing Roger's forr rival claim that title stirred a faint irritation within him.
Whitebeard's lips curled upward, his expression almost mocking.
"Oh? You have a problem with that? No matter the past, present, or future, he is my son."
"Confident, aren't you?"
Aether narrowed his eyes, a dangerous aura spreading from him. Whitebeard responded in kind, his presence equally overwhelming.
Though their Conqueror's Haki did not collide directly, the pressure from two top-tier figures alone forced those nearby to retreat.
Caught between them, Rayleigh felt a headache coming on.
"If you two want to fight, do it later. This is not the ti. If you keep this up, I am leaving."
Both n fell silent.
On the other side, Sengoku had no interest in their exchange. When Aether revealed key parts of the Marine strategy, his first thought was betrayal within the ranks. However, no matter how he analyzed it, no clear suspect erged.
That matter could wait.
"Advance the plan imdiately. Prepare to execute Portgas D. Ace."
As Marine forces began shifting on a large scale, Whitebeard refocused. The confrontation with Aether ended as quickly as it began.
Looking at that face identical to Roger's, and hearing the insistence over Ace's identity, Whitebeard felt oddly satisfied. Even the pain in his body seed slightly lighter.
"My sons, spread out and move into the harbor. Do not give the Marines a chance to surround us."
"Understood, Pops!"
"The Marines' plan will fail!"
Morale among the pirates surged.
Whether Aether was a clone or not no longer mattered. The presence of Rayleigh alone was enough to inspire confidence.
The allied crews split apart and advanced along both sides of the bay. On one side, Aokiji's frozen battlefield was broken through as a massive icebreaker ship carved a path onto land. On the other side, powerful pirates comparable to Vice Admirals forced their way forward.
At the center, the main force led by Marco, Jozu, and Vista advanced steadily, securing ground step by step.
Just as Aether and Rayleigh were about to move, a pink-haired figure charged toward them without hesitation.
"Die, you disgusting man!"
"Cage of Feathers!"
Black iron bars snapped forward.
Rayleigh sidestepped effortlessly and chose not to interfere. The hatred in her eyes made the situation clear enough.
Aether dodged just as easily, stepping forward and catching both of her fists. His grip was firm, preventing her from pulling away.
"Yo Hina, what are you doing? You should retreat. You are not my opponent."
Hina's expression twisted with anger.
"Hina will never let you go! What you did that night, Hina will return it tenfold!"
Aether raised an eyebrow slightly.
"Tenfold? That sounds excessive. We are both adults, there is no need to overreact. If you are dissatisfied, you can always co find again."
His calm tone only fueled her fury.
"Shut up! Hina never wants to see you again! If Hina gets pregnant, Hina will hunt you down no matter where you run!"
Before he could respond, she bit down hard on his shoulder, refusing to let go.
"Are you so kind of animal?"
Aether frowned and pulled her away. As she struggled to continue attacking, he stepped forward and knocked her unconscious, catching her before she fell.
Rayleigh watched from the side, clearly intrigued by what he had just heard, though he wisely kept his thoughts to himself.
Using Observation Haki, Aether quickly located a familiar presence. In the next mont, he appeared in front of Smoker and tossed Hina toward Tashigi.
Smoker's expression darkened as he caught sight of Aether.
He had already noticed sothing was off with Hina over the past few days. She had been unusually irritable, constantly tearing apart Aether's bounty posters as if venting her anger.
Now, it was obvious that sothing significant had happened between them.
