The encirclent of the Blackbeard Pirates was no illusion born from Sengoku's imagination. The current Marine forces truly had the power to crush them.
Garp alone was enough to suppress Blackbeard. An ambitious pirate who had yet to fully master the Tremor-Tremor Fruit stood no real chance against Garp's overwhelming strength.
Against Garp, who relied purely on Haki, the abilities of the Dark-Dark Fruit lost much of their advantage. Blackbeard could only depend on his quake powers to barely hold his ground against Garp's Advanced Conqueror's Haki.
At the sa ti, Kizaru single-handedly restrained the rest of the Blackbeard Pirates, preventing their escape. Among them, only Shiryu of the Rain could face him directly. Now that Akainu had joined the battlefield, the outco already leaned heavily in the Marines' favor.
Just as Sengoku's confidence peaked, a figure erged from the pit.
To prevent her clothing from restricting movent, the fabric had been torn away, exposing long, fair legs and slender arms. Her waist was slim, her figure mature and striking, and her long hair was tied neatly into a ponytail. Her presence carried a cold, composed elegance.
Yet those familiar clothes made Sengoku's expression freeze.
"This is… could it be… Sakazuki?"
"Fleet Admiral Sengoku, it's ."
The cold voice confird it.
Sengoku felt his vision spin. The iron-blooded Admiral he had known for decades had beco a cold and beautiful woman. Even he struggled to process it.
The battlefield fell into stunned silence.
Kizaru's light blade slowed for a split second, and Shiryu seized the opening, slicing him apart. His body, already transford into light, quickly reford at a distance, but his face showed rare shock.
Even Garp paused mid-strike. For a man of his age, such a bizarre transformation was hard to accept. He took a hit from Blackbeard's shockwave before forcing out a laugh.
"So Sakazuki was like this all along. Not bad. The Marines finally have a beautiful Admiral. Might even help recruitnt."
His stiff expression made it clear he did not believe his own words.
Shiryu stood still as well, cigar between his fingers, his hand trembling slightly. He had once served at Marine Headquarters and knew Sakazuki. Seeing this now was beyond anything he had imagined.
Blackbeard, however, recovered first.
"Zehahaha, I never expected Admiral Akainu to look like this. We'll et again if fate allows."
Seizing the Marines' montary distraction, he made his move.
Both hands grabbed at the air, dragging downward. The power of the Tremor-Tremor Fruit erupted once more.
The ground of Marineford tilted violently. The surrounding sea split into rising and falling layers, swallowing ships whole. Screams echoed as both Marines and pirates were dragged into the chaos.
Unlike Whitebeard, Blackbeard did not control the range precisely. Whether from lack of mastery or simple recklessness, the vibrations spread far beyond the battlefield. Even Sabaody, far from Marineford, would feel the tremors.
"Zehahaha! n, we're retreating! If you get left behind, that's your own fate!"
Avalo Pizarro laughed loudly, clearly enjoying Sengoku's frustration. Having once been defeated and imprisoned in Impel Down, this mont brought him great satisfaction.
Using the tilted terrain, the Blackbeard Pirates retreated quickly, heading directly toward Aether's position.
Once the tremors subsided, Sengoku imdiately ordered pursuit. Leading the charge was Akainu, her body turning into magma as she surged forward, her true target unclear.
Soon, Blackbeard's group spotted Aether and Ivankov near their ship.
Aether was just about to board.
Blackbeard's grin widened.
"Zehahaha! Aether, long ti no see. I should thank you for what happened in Impel Down."
Without hesitation, he extended his hand. Darkness spiraled outward, forming a powerful vortex.
"Dark Water! Die, Aether!"
A terrifying suction force dragged Aether toward him.
In his other hand, Blackbeard gathered the power of vibrations, preparing to crush him in a single blow.
Aether did not resist at first. His body was pulled forward, his expression unchanged.
But just before reaching Blackbeard, he stomped hard against the ground. With sheer physical strength and Haki, he tore free from the pull.
Blackbeard's eyes widened.
Aether's fist, coated in Advanced Conqueror's Haki, collided directly with the quake-infused punch.
The impact sent a violent shockwave through the air, forcing everyone nearby to step back.
Blackbeard could hardly believe it. His attack had been stopped head-on by soone he had once dismissed.
Aether did not give him ti to recover.
He drew his blade, Ace, and slashed downward.
A deep wound tore across Blackbeard's shoulder, blood spraying as the strike bit deep.
Before Aether could follow up, Shiryu stepped in.
Holding his sword with both hands, he blocked the next strike.
Their eyes t.
Aether's killing intent pressed down like a physical force.
The clash rang out repeatedly as sparks flew.
Shiryu's knees bent under the pressure, his expression tightening in shock.
Where had this monster co from?
To overpower him like this ant only one thing.
Blackbeard had made a fatal mistake.
He had dragged a top-tier powerhouse right into his reach and left himself completely exposed.
