Just as Robin felt an overwhelming pressure bearing down on her—so intense that even breathing beca difficult—
Arashi suddenly raised his head and brought the kitchen knife down in a fierce slash toward Thriller Bark!
"Whoosh!!!"
A dazzling slash burst forth like a radiant full moon, tearing through the sea with apocalyptic force. It split the ocean apart and surged forward in a streak of light, striking the front gate of Thriller Bark in an instant.
A thunderous explosion shook the night sky.
Imdiately after, the front gate of Thriller Bark collapsed with a deafening crash, and billowing smoke engulfed Gecko Moria and the others.
At the sa ti—
The kitchen knife in Arashi's hand shattered silently, disintegrating into nothingness.
Robin, standing nearby, was completely stunned. Her eyes were wide open as she stared unblinkingly at the distant gate of Thriller Bark that had been cleaved apart by Arashi's strike.
Unbelievable.
It was simply unimaginable that he could achieve sothing like this from such a distance.
"Hmm… looks like I need to find a proper blade."
After glancing at the destroyed gate, Arashi blinked in mild disappointnt and muttered,
"If I could get my hands on Mihawk's Black Blade… I could probably split Thriller Bark in half."
Hearing this, Robin nearly fainted.
So he wasn't even satisfied with that?!
You just sliced apart the front gate of Thriller Bark with a kitchen knife—what more do you want?!
Robin felt completely disoriented, as if her sense of reality had been overturned.
Normally, she was calm and composed. But ever since eting Arashi, she felt like she might lose her sanity at any mont if she stayed by his side any longer.
At the front gate of Thriller Bark—
Gecko Moria was thoroughly shaken.
He had never imagined that a monster of this level would appear in the Ilusia Kingdom.
Looking at the shattered gate, he slowly stood up, still shaken, and peered through the thick smoke toward the port of Constantin City.
"Hey… who the hell is that guy?"
"With a slash like that… could it be Mihawk?"
"!!! It really is Mihawk?!"
"Don't be ridiculous—ahhh! It really is Mihawk!!!"
Within the swirling smoke, several pirates whose shadows had been stolen were still dazed—until they saw a figure on the sea ahead and nearly jumped out of their skins.
A small coffin-shaped boat was gliding rapidly across the water.
They weren't mistaken.
The coffin boat was real.
And seated upon it—carrying the world's strongest black blade—was Dracule Mihawk himself.
Ever since parting ways with Arashi, Mihawk had been wandering the West Blue.
After casually cutting down a few pirate crews—ships and all—he drifted into the waters near the Ilusia Kingdom.
He was sowhat familiar with this country. Although its king was incompetent, he listened to the young queen, who genuinely cared for the people. As a result, Ilusia was relatively peaceful compared to other nations in the West Blue.
Of course, that wasn't why Mihawk ca here.
The real reason he had made a beeline from Sieg Town to Constantin City…
Was that infuriating traveler seed to have arrived here!
To this day, Mihawk still hadn't forgotten the fine wine aboard the Traveler.
He wanted to ask Arashi for a drink.
An excuse.
All of that was just an excuse!
The real reason he ca was to win at rock-paper-scissors for once!
But what Mihawk hadn't expected was that the legendary ghost ship of the West Blue would appear here.
The mont he entered these waters and saw the massive, ominous vessel, he frowned.
Having his path blocked by such a huge ghost ship—no one would be happy about that. Especially not soone like Mihawk, who had a habit of slicing ships along with their crews.
So the mont he frowned—
The world's strongest black blade stirred, eager to be drawn.
But before he could strike—
That shocking slash appeared!
A radiant, moonlike arc of energy burst forth, tearing through the sea and sending towering waves skyward before crashing irresistibly into Thriller Bark's front gate.
This breathtaking scene ignited Mihawk's fighting spirit instantly.
Watching the smoke rise from the shattered gate, he knew—
The opponent he had been searching for had finally appeared.
Without hesitation, he steered his coffin boat around Thriller Bark and sped straight toward the port of Constantin City.
That's the one.
It had to be him.
Standing now on his coffin boat, Mihawk ignored the stunned pirates entirely. His sharp eyes glead intensely as he fixed his gaze on the distant figure at the port.
A long-lost battle intent surged within him.
Excitent made his lips tremble.
As the coffin boat cleared Thriller Bark and the figure in the distance beca clearer, Mihawk's breathing grew heavier.
He was certain—
That world-shaking slash had co from that man.
anwhile, Moria stood at the front gate, completely dumbfounded.
"Huh?"
Watching Mihawk completely ignore him and head straight for the port, he blinked in confusion before quickly turning around and shouting,
"Quick! Let's get out of here!"
The guy at the port with the kitchen knife was already terrifying enough—and now the world's greatest swordsman had shown up too!
He was genuinely worried Thriller Bark would be torn to pieces!
Unfortunately, the mont Moria spoke—
He drew Mihawk's attention.
In the next instant, Mihawk—now past Thriller Bark—suddenly drew his blade and turned, slashing toward the massive ship.
"Damn it—!"
Caught completely off guard, Moria's face turned pale in shock.
At that exact mont, Thriller Bark suddenly accelerated, drifting away just fast enough to narrowly avoid being cut in half once again.
"Too close… way too close…"
Wiping cold sweat from his brow, Moria didn't dare linger. He imdiately turned and fled deeper into Thriller Bark.
Retreat was the only option.
