At Red Port, the once beautiful island had completely lost its peace. Above, thick dark clouds covered the sky, churning with powerful lightning and thunder. The colossal dragon body of Kaido, like an ancient monster, constantly appeared and vanished within the storm.
Below, the harbor was in total chaos, with waves violently churning. Everyone was running toward the port, and ships were fleeing one after another as if their lives depended on it, escaping into the distance amidst panicked screams.
At this mont, the only people daring to remain were the reporters. Unlike the fear on the faces of the ordinary citizens, these reporters were excitedly pointing their Den Den Mushi toward the sky, sensing a massive news story awaiting them.
The nearby Marine G1 Branch was already enveloped by the dark clouds. Inside the Marine building, only a Rear Admiral was stationed there due to the ongoing Marineford War. He held a Den Den Mushi, his face pale and his body trembling. His eyes were filled with terror as he looked at the huge, winding body that appeared and disappeared within the distant sky's dark clouds.
"Sir... what... what should we do?" he stamred.
Logically, as a Marine, he should have led his troops to rush out and contain the ordinary people escaping from Red Port, but the sheer fear in his heart prevented him from even speaking that thought. That was Kaido of the Beasts! An Emperor of the New World, just like Whitebeard!
Why was Kaido here? Was he planning to join the headquarters' war? If so, why was he staying put here? The Rear Admiral was on the verge of tears.
Fortunately, a voice ca through the Den Den Mushi: "Alright, we all know. Next, by order of the World Governnt, you are to take all Marines and leave G1, the farther the better. Do not return without an order from the World Governnt!"
The Rear Admiral was first stunned, then imdiately overjoyed. "Understood, I'll give the order now!!!"
The Marines Retreat
"Woo!!!"
At the Marine G1 Branch, as the order was given, Marine warships left the base one after another. On the decks, the ard Marines only truly felt they had survived once they were far enough away from the figure, like an ancient monster, in the distance. They desperately swallowed their saliva, easing the imnse tension in their hearts.
At this mont, they had confirmation: the Four Emperors Kaido, who appeared at G1, was not targeting them. They couldn't believe an Emperor would rcifully let them go.
But this raised a critical question: what exactly was Kaido's goal? Since he stayed here and didn't proceed to Paradise, that ant, at least for now, he had no intention of participating in the Marineford War.
So... At this mont, every Marine's gaze turned toward the distant, massive Red Line and the magnificent structure high above it, and a terrifying thought began to form in their minds.
The Red Line contains the Holy Land Mary Geoise. As the world's highest center of power, its location is very special, recognized as the world's highest point, with an altitude of tens of thousands of ters.
In front of this massive continent, even Kaido's thousand-ter-long dragon body seed sowhat small. However, at this mont, neither the Celestial Dragons residing here nor the CP agents and soldiers guarding the area dared to relax in the slightest.
From the mont Kaido appeared at Red Port, CP0, who are responsible for protecting the Celestial Dragons, received the news. They imdiately secured the Celestial Dragons who were outside, bringing them back to their residences and hiding them.
The Celestial Dragons, unusually, did not act foolishly and rush toward their castles. The reason was simple: the older Celestial Dragons living here had mostly witnessed the God Valley Incident over thirty years ago. That disaster nearly destroyed the Celestial Dragons, and the figures of the great pirates who appeared during it—Rocks, Whitebeard, Golden Lion, Charlotte Linlin, Kaido—are still terrifying legends used to scare their children. These nas were practically synonymous with "demons"!
This was why the Celestial Dragons were so lenient with Kaido's daughter during the Sabaody Archipelago incident over a month ago; they were truly afraid of Kaido! This was also why they valued Garp, as they understood that in truly dangerous tis, they needed Garp's strength to protect them.
Inside the Celestial Dragons' castles, they hid behind windows, looking at the massive black storm cloud in the distant sky, with Kaido's dragon body appearing and disappearing within it. This filled the older Celestial Dragons with fear, while the younger ones looked curiously at their elders' fearful faces, not understanding why they were so afraid of a pirate.
There were even younger Celestial Dragons who suggested capturing Kaido as a pet, earning a harsh slap from their elders. "Idiot, if you want to die, don't drag down!!!" one elder yelled. The elder then hid behind the curtains, seemingly afraid that Kaido in the distance might hear what his foolish son had said.
Beside them, CP0 agents in white suits imdiately spoke soothingly, "Rest assured, sirs, we CP0 will protect your safety." However, despite their words, their tense tone revealed their inner fear and uneasiness. That was the Four Emperors: Kaido of the Beasts! Without even making a move, his sheer presence created imnse pressure on everyone.
At the edge of the Red Line, dense rows of ard soldiers stood on the front line, ready to block Kaido. Holding their weapons, they looked at the colossal, close-by dark cloud and the massive figure appearing and disappearing within it, their bodies trembling and faces pale amidst the flashes of lightning and thunder.
anwhile, within Pangea Castle in the Holy Land Mary Geoise, the Gorosei also stood on the balcony, their eyes fixed on the massive dark cloud next to the distant Red Line. They didn't know what Kaido's true objective was.
But one thing was absolutely clear: Kaido's current presence at Holy Land Mary Geoise was a severe challenge to the World Governnt's ultimate authority. Without the slightest hesitation, they made a decision.
"After we deal with Whitebeard this ti, we'll make a move on Kaido," one said. "It's perfect; if he only guarded Wano Country, it would be difficult for us to act, but now it's different."
"Hmm, agreed!" another confird.
So, what was Kaido's actual objective?
"Boom! Boom! Boom!!!"
Amidst a series of violent thunderclaps, below the thick, substantial dark clouds, King, with flas blazing behind him, flapped his wings. He looked with complex eyes at the nearby Red Line—the place that was once the holand of their Lunarian tribe.
However, he quickly regained his composure and looked up at his older brother, Kaido. He also didn't know what Kaido was planning to do.
Just then, Kaido's voice bood from within the black clouds. "Are they here?"
As his voice faded, a bolt of lightning appeared in the sky beside King, transforming into Eneru's figure.
"Ah, Big Brother Kaido!" Eneru said, his gaze also turning toward the black clouds above.
"How is it? Is it ready?" Kaido asked.
Eneru's face twisted into a cruel smile as he looked down at the sea below. "No problem, leave it to !"
As he spoke, Eneru's figure transford into lightning and rged into the dark clouds. Instantly, the lightning within the cloud beca even more dazzling, and King, who was nearby, imdiately sensed a different, intensified aura.
Kaido's figure also transford back into his human form, stepping onto fla clouds and landing beside King. Seeing King's curious expression, Kaido grinned.
"What, very curious? Worororo, don't rush; you'll know soon enough," he said. "For now, let's welco the guests who are about to arrive..."
"Boom!!!"
Two black bolts of lightning shot down from the sky, striking the G1 Branch.
And when they clearly saw the two figures that appeared at the G1 Branch, not only King, but even Kaido's expression was sowhat stunned...
