One Piece: Max-Level Observation Haki from the Start Chapter 176: Such an Enemy, Only Roya Can Match
The mont the Seventh Overlord entered the atmosphere, his overwhelming aura instantly repelled the air itself.
From the perspective of space, one could clearly see that at the very point where he pierced through the atmosphere, a massive cavity had ford—an empty void with a radius of over ten kiloters!
Clouds and vapors were swept away, the very air refusing to obstruct his path forward.
At this mont, there was no other color left on the Pirate Star—only the necrotic green radiance that emanated from the body of the Seventh Overlord.
Inside Pangeae City, both sides of the battle halted simultaneously.
The legions of the undead all dropped to their knees, bowing in the humblest posture, welcoming their overlord's descent into the world.
The natives of the Pirate Star, however, were crushed under an overbearing pressure that forcefully invaded their consciousness. To remain standing at all was already proof of how far they had grown.
To stand against a supre being who strode across the galaxy—this alone was no small feat.
It was only now that Whitebeard, Kaido, and the other first-tier powerhouses realized: without the barrier of the astral gate, the true might of the Seventh Overlord was ten tis greater than they had estimated!
"Such an enemy—only Roya can match him!"
In that instant, the sa realization erupted in the hearts of all. Their gazes snapped toward Roya in unison.
Even as these thoughts flashed through their minds, the Seventh Overlord had already plunged into the troposphere!
Hundreds of thousands of kiloters vanished beneath his feet in what seed like teleportation.
Head down, feet up, he continued his dive, yet the particle cloak billowing from his back drifted naturally, without the slightest distortion from high velocity.
This alone revealed that his movent was not re physical displacent as mortals understood it.
Even after entering the troposphere, the reality-bending pressure radiating from his body did not weaken in the slightest.
Clouds and air scattered wretchedly before him.
Between Roya's hovering position and the point where the Overlord began his dive, a bizarre vacuum corridor had ford.
Only powerhouses of Whitebeard's level could barely discern that this corridor was shaped like a cone, narrowing sharply toward its base.
And so they understood—Roya had already begun to clash with the enemy!
Upon entering the troposphere, the Seventh Overlord was startled to discover that his thod of tearing through the spatial barrier with psionic force—slipping briefly into subspace to teleport his body short distances—was no longer effective!
What's more, the psionic oppression he had deliberately unleashed was forcibly constrained to a minuscule range by another energy—an energy of the sa origin as psionics, yet even stronger.
The closer he drew to Roya, the more oppressive this restraining force beca!
His original plan—to crush half the planet's ants instantly beneath his psionic might and deliver Roya a brutal show of force—was thoroughly ruined.
And this energy, the Overlord knew all too well. It carried the unmistakable imprint of Roya, who had briefly crossed blows with him before.
"Damn it! Only two months have passed, and that spark of fla has already grown into a great blazing bonfire!"
"At this rate, give it another year or so, and will you be competing with the sun itself for brilliance and heat?!"
"Which deity stands behind you? This kind of investnt is absurd! Why not just grant you a divine body outright?!"
For an instant, the Seventh Overlord felt an unfamiliar, sour emotion rise within him.
The last ti he had felt this way was back in the distant past, when he still possessed flesh and blood—when the neighbor's child had gotten the newest ga console.
"All chosen of the gods deserve to die!"
His fury drowned out the mory that he himself had once been a so-called chosen, the favored of the Silent King.
Seething with rage, even from ten thousand ters away, the Overlord thrust out a finger toward Roya!
At his fingertip, planetary-scale psionic energy condensed and erupted!
Drawing from subspace, he summoned a force equal to the gravitational pull of an ordinary planet's core, hurling it straight at Roya's head!
This attack was akin to hurling one's target directly into the star-core of a planet!
The incomprehensible power of nuclear expansion and gravitational collapse, two forces united, both bearing down upon a single victim!
No physical body could possibly withstand or unleash such force—only psionics could make it possible.
"Compared to a planet, what is a re bonfire?!"
"Bla yourself for not hiding your strength—exposing yourself too soon! Did you truly think that being a god's chosen ant you could act with impunity?!"
"I don't believe you can use that pitiful psionic power of yours to draw enough subspace energy to block my strike!"
The Overlord's finger pointed, and a surge of pride rose within him.
For this furious strike had mobilized a level of subspace energy beyond any he had ever achieved before—its destructive power imasurable.
"Be annihilated completely!"
In that instant, planetary force erupted around Roya.
He felt a terrifying expansion bursting forth from within every atom of his body—each one undergoing the fiercest of nuclear fissions, disintegrating while unleashing unstoppable heat and shockwaves.
At the sa ti, an imnse external pressure clamped down upon every atom, as though countless rciless iron hands were crushing the wildly fissioning nuclei, forcing them back together.
Internal and external tornt!
In that instant, Roya's spirit-sense instinctively detached from his body.
Everything occurring within his body beca irrelevant to him.
Yet this planetary-level technique—simulating the operation of a star's core—its principles and transformations gradually unfolded before his spirit-sense.
Perhaps eons had passed, or perhaps not even a heartbeat.
In subspace, ti and space had no aning.
Roya grasped the essence of planetary force.
With a re thought, the fission of every nucleus in his body ceased. The crushing external pressure seeped back into subspace and vanished without trace.
The Seventh Overlord's ultimate strike had been completely neutralized.
Roya's lips curved into a faint smile. With a thought, his spirit-sense plunged into subspace, brushed across a crimson psionic projection as vast as a mountain, drew out a strand of radiance, and reerged into the material world—piercing straight through the Overlord's psionic shield.
And then, that sa planetary force, internal and external, erupted within every atom of the Seventh Overlord's supre bio-tal body!
