Athena slowly drew her Chaos Chain Blades out of a humanoid creature's chest, letting its corpse collapse to the ground.

Examining the body while transmitting her findings through the Mythic Squad's shared link, she reported:

"The body's resilience is roughly equivalent to low-grade biotal. Its overall structure is almost identical to ours.

Its mouth contains hollow fangs, reinforced by powerful ring muscles beneath the gums. By contracting and expanding, these muscles can pump fluid rapidly. My conclusion: these monsters feed primarily on the blood of the natives.

The stomach is divided into three chambers, evolved to filter and refine blood. The intestines—stretching over a hundred ters—have been adapted for both storage and absorption. Substances refined in the stomach are then infused into the creature's own bloodstream throughout this massive intestinal tract."

Mars couldn't help interjecting:

"A hundred ters of intestines? No wonder its digestion is so extre! They could probably drink liquid biotal like water!"

Athena poked at the still-bloody stomach sac before adding:

"The blood of these natives is likely not far off from liquid biotal itself. The concentration of refinable substances is extrely high. In essence… it's the sa thing."

Nuwa nodded grimly:

"Psionic energy siphons power from the Warp. Their blood absorbs it and converts it into a universal catalytic dium. That's why we've been bred like livestock, harvested again and again!"

Odin's tone was cold:

"Then let's exterminate these damned vampires."

Mars instantly echoed:

"Yes! Kill them all—no matter what species they are, no matter where their nest lies, no matter how they drain us—kill them all!"

Athena remarked with interest:

"One more thing—their connection to each other is maintained through psychic wave transmissions, a kind of shared group consciousness. That ans the big one in hibernation must play a role similar to Nuwa's within our warbands."

Nuwa replied:

"The pursuit of efficiency always converges. The Necrons follow the sa pattern—only taken to a more extre degree.

Athena, infiltrate their psychic network. Make them perceive us as kin. Stay hidden. The noise from Kaido's side is already enormous. If we reveal ourselves as well, it might actually wake the big one."

Although the cacophony from Kaido's rampage in the ship's midsection was unlikely to carry so far, the Mythic Squad perceived it clearly through their psionic senses.

The massive energy signature buried deeper underground remained dormant, which ant this level of disturbance hadn't yet crossed its danger threshold.

Thor laughed:

"Then let's use those old fools as cover. We'll sneak straight to the big one—and strike hard!"

With that, he strode down a side passage.

In the sli-slick corridors, Kaido swung his spiked club down on the skull of the last lunging vampire. The blow crushed the bald, black-skinned head inward, shattering bone into paste.

He gave the weapon a casual flick, flinging gore free, and said:

"One thousand seven hundred and sixty-two. How many you got?"

Whitebeard chuckled helplessly behind him:

"Fine, fine—you win, you madman."

A severed black head spun through the air. Squard erged from another passage, wiping his blade as he said calmly:

"Two thousand and forty-eight."

Monts later, Kizaru staggered out of yet another corridor, dragging a Navy-forged longsword.

Even the weight of their multi-ton powered armor sank heavily into the river of blood, making the footing treacherous.

Cursing, Kizaru muttered:

"Damn it all—how many of these things are there? Just these few corridors had tens of thousands packed inside. The ship's hold must be crawling with even more! My blade's edge is rolled already—rolled! This thing was forged from hull-grade alloy, and they dulled it?!"

Kuzan kicked aside the last corpse blocking his path and grimaced:

"Their blood reeks. Sa stench as those bio-weapons on Oceanus Star. You can bet that cold-blooded bastard Imu won't waste the corpses—he'll haul them all back."

Kaido sneered:

"Every corner of the starry sea is the sa as our own world. The strong plunder the weak. The dead are nothing but raw material. We used to be the weak. Now they are. That's all there is to it."

Whitebeard's voice rumbled, solemn and heavy:

"No. This is nothing but an eye for an eye, blood for blood."

Kaido barked a laugh:

"Then how about another round?"

Whitebeard grinned:

"Why not?"

Even before their words had faded, Squard had already charged into the next tunnel, his blade flashing. From within ca the monsters' shrieks, cut short one after another.

Kaido chuckled:

"Seems I'll have to step it up. These youngsters are downright reckless! Old friend, we'll et again at the big one's lair below!"

With that, he barreled into another passage, his iron club hamring skulls in a thunderous rhythm.

Outside the wreck, Roya hovered in the air, monitoring everything through the Mythic Squad's psychic link while keeping a sliver of awareness imrsed in the Warp—tracking the enormous spiritual projection looming above.

By then, the Mythic Squad had successfully masked their psionic signals within the vampires' hive network.

As long as they weren't directly confronted, the creatures perceived them as kin, ignoring them entirely. This spared them countless battles.

anwhile, every monster in the wreck had been stirred up and funneled toward Whitebeard's squad, swarming out of every shadow. Chaos reigned within.

This allowed the Mythic Squad to advance far more quickly and quietly. Soon, they had reached the midsection of the ship.

Athena pointed toward a sealed hatch at the corridor's end.

"Large chamber beyond. Multiple dense life-signs detected—but all weaker than the ones we fought earlier. Likely a hatchery or nursery. Do we clear it out?"

Nuwa replied:

"Open it. Let's see."

Odin needed no further prompting. He leveled the Eternal Spear and pried the heavy tal door apart.

The scene within stunned even them—veterans who had survived near-extermination.

Nuwa, Athena, Odin, Mars… all froze, their spirits shaken.

"By Lord Roya above… what in the world is this?"

Even they, hardened by tragedy, could scarcely endure the horror that greeted their eyes.
