"Ike, still no results!"
"Can't be helped. That's just how the New World is."
"This is damn frustrating!"
"There's no solution at all!"
Sitting in the study, Edward Ike and Edward Newgate both rubbed their temples.
That's right.
It was still about the pregnancy issue.
And—
It was no longer just about nurturing pregnancies.
They had realized that as Ike's household kept growing—
What would happen once the children were born?
That was an even bigger problem.
So—
The most urgent task now was to find a suitable, safe island.
Not just for pregnancy—
But also as the future base of the Edward Family.
After all—
If the Edward Family continued to expand—
They couldn't remain a "sea-bound family" forever.
That would be… awkward, to say the least.
However—
Despite spending an entire month searching seriously—
They had found nothing.
No results at all.
There was simply no solution.
Knock! Knock!
"Hm?"
Both Ike and Newgate paused as the knocking sounded.
"Co in," Ike said.
"Master."
"Brother."
Selina entered with a gentle smile, her voice soft and composed. "I've found a suitable place—or rather, a sea."
"Huh?!"
The Edward brothers were both stunned.
What?
What did she just say?
They stared at her in disbelief.
With the support of a maid, Selina carefully sat down and spoke gently, "Over the past few days, I reviewed so records and recalled what I heard from my father. In the New World, there exists a special sea known as the Totto Land Sea."
"Totto Land Sea?"
Newgate frowned slightly—he had never heard of it.
"Totto Land…" Ike narrowed his eyes.
His brother didn't know—
But he did.
In the original tiline, wasn't the territory built by Charlotte Linlin—that chaotic woman—located there?
So—
That ant Totto Land wasn't the na of the nation.
It was the na of the sea.
And the so-called "Whole Cake Kingdom" was the country she built within it.
"I see…" Ike muttered internally.
"Yes," Selina continued softly. "The Totto Land Sea is very special. It is said that people living there never lack food. Every island is made entirely of food. However, the sea routes are extrely unusual—normally, it's impossible to enter."
"Because the routes are strange?" Newgate asked.
"No, brother." Selina shook her head. "According to what I know, aside from a single entry route, the entire surrounding sea is filled with deep-sea whirlpools and chaotic currents. Any ship that enters recklessly will be swallowed."
"Oh~~~"
Newgate's eyes lit up instantly.
A place like that—
Easy to defend, hard to attack!
Ike asked thoughtfully, "Selina, I've never heard of this sea. Where exactly is it located in the New World?"
"Hmm…" Selina thought for a mont. "Master, I know of its existence, but not its exact location. Navigation routes in the New World are extrely chaotic. You need a permanent Log Pose to reach it."
"Then…" Newgate stroked his chin, intrigued. "We just need to find a permanent Log Pose for Totto Land."
It was worth noting—
There were two types of Log Poses.
The first—
The standard one, like those used in ordinary navigation, which follows magnetic routes between islands.
After gathering enough magnetic data, it leads you along a set path.
After all—
The Grand Line's routes were chaotic.
What looked like a straight path might actually twist unpredictably.
For example—
The Whitebeard crew often just drifted with the currents, docking whenever they encountered an island.
But—
If you wanted to go to a specific island or sea—
You needed the second type.
A permanent Log Pose.
One that always pointed to a fixed destination.
That was what Newgate needed.
"Brother," Selina continued, "there's no need to search. If I rember correctly, my father's treasury has such a permanent Log Pose. We can retrieve it from him."
She said it lightly—
But it was clear—
This "little princess" had already begun betraying her father.
"Ike?" Newgate tilted his head. "What do you think?"
"Hmm…"
Ike thought carefully before replying, "If Totto Land is truly as Selina described, then it's the perfect territory. Whether for pregnancy, family developnt, or the future…"
He trailed off—
But the aning was obvious.
Then he continued, "In any case, we should go to the Korya Kingdom and retrieve the permanent Log Pose. Whether it's real or not—we'll know once we see it."
"No problem!"
Newgate stood up imdiately, grinning confidently. "Then it's settled!"
Without hesitation, he strode out—
Heading straight for the Korya Kingdom.
When it ca to planning—
He knew his own strengths.
And this kind of thinking?
Better leave it to his younger brother.
Ike watched Selina, her belly already swollen, and suddenly said, "Selina… if Totto Land is truly exactly as you described… then your goal will co true."
"Master…"
Selina lowered her head slightly.
Ike continued calmly, "I don't dislike capable won. After all, the family will only grow larger. Having soone capable is important."
His aning—
Couldn't have been clearer.
