Inside a magnificent golden palace—
Five elderly figures stood or sat around a grand chamber.
Each of them radiated an overwhelming aura of authority that could not be challenged.
"For the deaths of Saint Rosward's family, the Celestial Dragon houses of the Holy Land demand an explanation."
The bald elder, Saint Topman Warcury, spoke calmly.
Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro, holding the sword Shodai Kitetsu, sneered with disdain.
"Give them an explanation? Them?"
"They're nothing but pigs."
"Allowing them to live as nobles is already the greatest rcy we could give."
"Saint Nusjuro, that's going too far."
Saint Jaygarcia Saturn attempted to smooth things over.
"Regardless… they are still our fellow Celestial Dragons."
"Fellow?" Nusjuro's killing intent surged.
"If they weren't our own kind…"
"I would slaughter them all with this Kitetsu."
"Pathetic trash."
"Enough."
Warcury slamd the discussion to a halt and placed a wanted poster on the table.
"We cannot ignore Straw Hat Luffy any longer."
"His growth… is far too fast."
"What are the Marines doing?"
"Two Admirals couldn't capture a single brat?"
"To be honest… I'm worried."
"What if he truly awakens that fruit?"
"That's impossible."
"For 800 years, it has never happened."
"Just because it hasn't happened…"
"Doesn't an it never will."
Warcury's words silenced the room.
"The God's Knights cannot move."
"So…"
"It seems we old bones will have to act ourselves."
The other four elders exchanged glances.
"This threat must be eliminated."
"Agreed."
"Agreed."
"Agreed."
"Then it's settled."
"I will have CP agents locate Straw Hat Luffy."
"We will prepare ourselves."
"eting adjourned."
Revolutionary Army Headquarters
A massive dining table overflowed with food.
Luffy sat at one end.
His mouth opened wide while his arms stretched across the table.
One hand grabbed a giant lobster.
The other held a massive bone.
He devoured everything without even looking.
Across from him, Monkey D. Dragon watched helplessly.
The terrifying revolutionary leader had an extrely gentle side beneath his cold exterior.
Because of the revolution, he had never been able to watch his son grow up.
After being declared a criminal by the World Governnt, he didn't even dare return ho.
That guilt remained buried deep inside him.
Because of it—
He rarely opposed anything Luffy wanted.
"Burp!"
Luffy rubbed his swollen stomach with satisfaction.
He looked at Dragon curiously.
"Dad, how did you know I killed a Celestial Dragon at Sabaody?"
"By the ti you arrived, it should've been too late."
Dragon smiled faintly.
"A comrade inford ."
"He works within the World Governnt."
"Oh."
Luffy simply nodded.
But in his mind—
A gentle figure appeared.
I'll never be able to repay the favor I owe you…
Dragon froze internally.
Wait…
You're not even curious?!
I literally said there's a spy inside the World Governnt!
You're not even going to ask who it is?!
Knock knock.
"Co in."
Dragon adjusted his cloak.
The door opened.
A young man entered.
He had short wavy blond hair, a burn scar over his left eye, and wore a black top hat with blue goggles.
His elegant blue coat and bow tie made him look like a noble gentleman.
Behind him walked a lively blonde girl.
"Chief—"
The young man began speaking.
But when he saw Luffy—
He froze.
For so reason…
His body reacted instinctively.
His heart raced with excitent.
Yet he had no idea why.
"Sabo, what are you doing?"
The girl pouted.
"Dragon, we're back!"
Suddenly—
Two rubber arms shot out.
They wrapped tightly around Sabo's neck.
A figure jumped onto him, locking his legs around Sabo's waist.
"SABO!"
"I finally found you!"
Even though Luffy already knew Sabo was alive—
Seeing him again made the emotions impossible to contain.
Tears stread down his face.
Everyone present froze.
Sabo was equally stunned.
Normally, he would have been furious if soone clung to him like this.
But toward Luffy—
Even without his mories—
The instinctive affection of an older brother toward his younger sibling remained.
Sabo spoke gently.
"…Who are you?"
Luffy lifted his head.
His eyes were red from crying.
He wiped his nose on Sabo's shoulder.
"I'm your little brother!"
"Little brother?"
Dragon and Koala were both confused.
Since when do you have another brother?!
Suddenly—
"Ahhh!"
Sabo clutched his head in pain.
Fragnts of mories flooded back.
Instinctively, he hugged Luffy protectively.
mories Returned
Ace once said:
"You know what? When you drink the Brotherhood Sake, you beco brothers."
Luffy asked eagerly:
"Really?"
Ace grinned.
"When we beco pirates, we might not sail on the sa ship."
"So our bond…"
"…will be that of brothers."
"No matter where we go…"
"No matter what we do…"
"That bond will never break."
"From today on—"
"We are brothers!"
The childhood mories surged through Sabo's mind.
His eyes turned red as tears stread down his face.
"Luffy…"
"How could I forget you…?"
"My little brother!"
Sabo's mories had returned.
Later—
The four of them sat on the ground together.
Luffy leaned comfortably against Sabo.
Sabo looked at him with gentle affection while explaining everything to Dragon and Koala.
"So let get this straight…"
Koala's head spun.
"The Fifth Emperor of the Sea, Straw Hat Luffy, is your brother."
"And the Whitebeard Pirates' Second Division Commander, Ace, is also your brother."
"And Dragon is Luffy's father?!"
"This is too much information!"
Dragon stood up slowly and picked up a newspaper.
"If Ace is your brother…"
"You should read this."
Sabo accepted the paper with a smile.
Reuniting with Luffy had put him in an incredibly good mood.
But as soon as he read it—
His smile vanished.
Cold sweat covered his forehead.
Newspaper Headline
"Whitebeard Pirates Second Division Commander Portgas D. Ace Captured by the Marines."
"Public Execution Scheduled in Seven Days."
"Marine Headquarters Summons the Seven Warlords of the Sea."
"Will the Whitebeard Pirates fall at Marineford… or will the Marines fail?"
"…Luffy."
Sabo handed the newspaper to him with concern.
But Luffy's expression remained calm.
He simply set the paper aside.
"So what?"
"It's just a public execution."
"We'll go save him."
"That's all."
Sabo stared at him.
In Luffy—
He saw calm confidence and overwhelming determination.
The qualities of a true powerhouse.
Then Sabo rembered the news.
This was the man who had fought Marine Admirals.
That crying kid from back then…
…has beco unbelievably strong.
Dragon nodded.
"If you want to go… then go."
"With the Whitebeard Pirates, plus you and Luffy…"
"It's not impossible."
"But…"
"The Revolutionary Army cannot help you."
Then Dragon looked toward Luffy.
"There is one more thing."
"You should go see…"
"Silvers Rayleigh."
