The Going rry sped along the cloud current.
Soon, it shot upward through the sky and passed beyond the White-White Sea.
"What's that?" Chopper asked, pointing at a signboard.
"The Land of God," Robin read aloud.
A beam of sunlight pierced through the clouds, and at last the crew arrived at Skypiea.
Everyone looked up—
And was instantly stunned by the sight before them.
Islands made entirely of clouds, with streets ford from solid cloud paths.
The surroundings were pure white, like stepping into a heavenly paradise.
"Look! It's an island! A sky island!" Luffy burst into laughter.
For soone chasing dreams, nothing was more precious than seeing one finally co true.
"Woooow!!" everyone exclaid in amazent.
"The sign earlier said 'Land of God,'" Robin said.
"Yeah—and it's the sa na written on the map Luffy found," Nami added.
"That ans the giant galleon that fell from the sky really did co from here!"
"They saw this exact scenery 200 years ago!"
Nami's eyes sparkled with excitent.
Before long, the ship reached the shore.
[System Notification]
Mission Issued: God and the People
A fortunate man obtained imnse power.
Driven by ambition, he took the na of God and now rules this land with tyranny.
During this grand adventure, the host must choose a side.
Reward: Unknown
'Another mission…'
Luffy had begun to understand the system's pattern.
There were:
Single-path choices (e.g., Pirates vs. Marines)
Multiple-choice missions (like choosing whether to land)
Ambiguous missions like this one
And the third type usually gave the best rewards.
The "unknown reward" likely ant the system would evaluate his actions afterward.
'No rush.'
As soon as the ship docked, Luffy jumped straight onto a nearby cloud coconut tree.
He casually picked a strange-looking coconut and bit down.
Crunch.
"…Too hard!"
"Fine! Take this!"
His teeth turned black as he coated them with Armant Haki.
"Armant — Great Fang!"
CRACK!
The coconut burst open, juice splashing everywhere.
Luffy tipped it back and gulped it down.
"Ahhh! So good!"
"Luffy! Wait for us!" Usopp and Chopper ran over.
The three of them began jumping around the beach, roughhousing like kids.
"I'm going to change clothes," Nami said as she headed toward the cabin.
"What beautiful scenery…" Zoro murmured.
"Look at those idiots getting so excited," Sanji said with his hands in his pockets.
Then he walked to the railing, kicked off his shoes—
"Yahoo!"
—and jumped straight into the cloud sea.
"Idiot. You're just as excited as they are," Zoro muttered.
"The feeling of adventure…" Robin said softly.
"Whether sailing the sea or landing on unknown islands—it's always an adventure. I never imagined experiencing sothing like this."
Soon everyone was enjoying themselves freely.
Just then—
A soft, lodious tune echoed across the beach.
A beautiful angel-like girl was playing a harp.
Everyone's attention shifted to her instantly.
Sanji's eyes changed dramatically.
"A… an angel!"
His eyes turned into hearts.
The girl looked over.
"Heso!" she greeted.
"Heso?" everyone repeated in confusion.
"What does 'Heso' an?" Chopper asked.
"What else could it an?" Zoro shrugged.
"Are you people from the Blue Sea?" the girl asked.
"Yeah! We ca up from below," Luffy said. "Are you from here?"
"Yes. Welco to Angel Beach in the Land of God," she said with a smile.
"My na is Conis, and this is my cloud fox, Su."
"If you have any questions, I'll do my best to help."
"Please listen to !" Sanji said dramatically. "Your gaze has healed the wounds in my heart!"
BONK.
Nami punched him instantly.
"We just arrived here and have lots of questions," she said politely. "Would you mind helping us?"
"Of course!"
At that mont, soone approached from the cloud sea.
"Conis! Heso!"
"Father! Heso!"
Their relationship was imdiately obvious.
"What is he riding?" Nami asked.
"You an the Waver?" Conis said.
"Waver?"
"Sorry—I need to stop!"
The man shouted—
THUD!
—and crashed face-first into the sand.
Lying on the ground, he apologized:
"Are you all okay?"
"You should worry about yourself first!" Usopp replied.
"Oh right—I haven't introduced myself. My na is Pagaya."
"You must have many questions since you just arrived."
"If you have ti, why not co to my house? You can try so local seafood."
"Cooking? I can help with that," Sanji said with a smile.
anwhile—
Luffy was riding a Waver across the White-White Sea.
"Left foot brake! Right foot throttle! Turn the handle!"
"This is easy!"
The machine imdiately began swerving wildly.
"AAAAAH! Why is it shaking so much?!"
"Why won't it stop?!" Luffy shouted while still pressing the throttle.
"I'm gonna crash! I'm gonna crash!"
At the last second, Luffy jumped off and abandoned the vehicle.
He landed safely.
The Waver… didn't.
"…That was dangerous," Luffy said with lingering fear.
"That's my fault," Pagaya sighed. "I shouldn't lend it to beginners. Normally it takes about ten years to master riding a Waver."
"But Nami's doing fine," Luffy said casually.
Everyone turned.
Nami was smoothly gliding across the White-White Sea with perfect control.
"Incredible!" Pagaya exclaid.
"Riding a Waver is extrely difficult! Luffy, you may be a monster who learns things quickly—but this is sothing you'll never master!"
"Because controlling sea currents takes real skill!"
"Really?" Luffy said sourly. "If you keep bragging, Nami, I might just knock you off."
"You idiot! How could you even think that?!" Sanji grabbed Luffy's collar.
Then he turned to Nami with a dreamy smile.
"As expected of Nami-san! You're amazing!"
"Nami! We're heading to the old man's house! Co down already!" Luffy shouted.
"Alright, alright!" Nami replied.
She had already gotten used to listening to Luffy—she trusted him deeply.
"Sir, can I borrow the Waver for a few days?" Nami asked hopefully.
"Of course! Use it as long as you like," Pagaya said kindly.
"Thank you!"
At Conis's House
Luffy devoured seafood nonstop.
"So good! This is amazing!"
He ate like an unstoppable eating machine.
Nami held her forehead.
She liked him—but sotis he was just embarrassing.
"Sorry about him, Conis," she said apologetically.
"It's fine," Conis laughed. "Besides, the seafood you're eating was caught by you earlier anyway."
Those giant creatures that once attacked the Straw Hat Pirates had now beco Luffy's dinner.
"Honestly, you're all incredible!" Conis said admiringly.
"All those monsters couldn't defeat you!"
"That's because of —Captain Usopp!" Usopp bragged.
BAM.
Nami punched him.
"By the way," Nami asked, "the Waver runs even without wind. How does that work?"
"That's because of Dials," Conis explained.
"All of Skypiea's technology relies on them."
"There are Tone Dials that record sound."
"Vision Dials that record images."
"Wind Dials that store wind."
"Fla Dials that store fire."
"Scent Dials that store slls."
"And Lamp Dials that produce light."
"As long as you install a Wind Dial in a Waver, it can move even without wind."
"So amazing…" Nami said, fascinated.
Then she looked at Luffy.
He was using a Wind Dial to blow air on his forehead while eating.
"Honestly… I can't figure you out. Sotis you're incredibly reliable—and sotis you act like a total idiot."
"But when you're sightseeing in the Land of God…"
Conis suddenly beca serious.
"There's one place you must never go."
"In the Land of God, there is a place that must never be entered."
"And that land lies right next to our island."
"The Sacred Upper Yard — Upper Yard."
"That is where God lives."
"There's really a god living there?" Nami asked in surprise.
"Yes."
"The ruler of the Land of God…"
"God Enel."
Zoro narrowed his eyes.
"Then why do I see fear on your face when you say his na?"
With his Observation Haki, he had sensed it imdiately.
When she ntioned "God," she revealed the faintest trace of terror.
Zoro glanced at Luffy.
'Of course… that idiot probably noticed long ago.'
"Please don't say things like that!" Conis said nervously.
"Enel possesses omniscient power. Everything we do is under his watch!"
"Omniscient?! You an he's watching us right now?!" Usopp scread.
"…Yes."
Zoro looked toward Luffy.
"That's Observation Haki, right?"
"Hey, Luffy. Stop eating and answer ."
Luffy tilted his head.
"Oh, you an Enel?"
"He ate the Rumble-Rumble Fruit. And he has Observation Haki."
Zoro nodded.
'I knew it.'
"A Logia lightning user, huh… That'll be troubleso."
He had already decided.
Enel was now on his must-cut list.
After all—
Conis was clearly a kind person.
And anyone who could make soone that kind feel such fear…
…had to be a villain.
"You shouldn't talk like that!" Conis cried.
"God Enel will hear you! He'll send down Heaven's Judgnt!"
"It's fine," Luffy said calmly, finishing the last of the food.
"The Rumble-Rumble Fruit greatly expands the range of his Observation Haki."
"But he can't focus precisely on every single person."
"He mainly detects people who hate him intensely—or those making a big scene in public."
"And I've already blurred his perception with my own Observation Haki."
"So relax."
"You can say whatever you want."
Luffy's tone beca serious.
"So tell ."
"What kind of person is Enel really?"
Pagaya and Conis stared at him in shock.
"…What?"
