The night over Water 7 was silent.
Under the pitch-black sky, colossal waves surged violently.
The Aqua Laguna was like nature's punishnt upon Water 7.
Yet beneath the endless roaring waves—
A tal train raced across the ocean.
WOOOOOO—!
Steam blasted from the engine as Rocketman charged fearlessly into the raging sea.
"Hold tight, pirates! Don't fall off!"
"Departing from Water 7 and heading straight to Enies Lobby!"
"The Sea Train—Rocketman!"
Kokoro sat in the driver's seat, a bottle of liquor in one hand while controlling the speeding train with the other.
Inside the Train
The Straw Hat crew sat fully prepared.
"No matter how you look at it," Zoro said calmly with his swords in his arms, eyes closed.
"The place we're going is the central stronghold of the World Governnt."
"If we cause trouble there, we'll all beco fugitives."
Usopp spoke up.
"Should we make a plan?"
"No," Sanji replied, leaning against the train wall while cigarette smoke drifted through the carriage.
"The island only has CP9, Marines, and governnt officials."
"It's actually one of the weakest defensive points of the World Governnt."
"We've already fought CP9 before."
"We just need to finish things quickly."
Robin quietly added:
"There's also the Buster Call."
Sanji shrugged.
"Then we'll just…"
"Break in head-on."
The Storm
WOOOOOO—!
A massive wave surged toward the train—large enough to flip it over.
Sanji glanced outside.
"A huge wave's coming."
"Which one of you is handling it?"
"You go," Zoro replied.
He was already snoring.
"Idiot…"
Sanji stepped onto the front of the train.
He stared at the incoming tidal wave.
Then—
He lifted his leg and kicked.
BOOM!
A massive hole exploded through the wave.
But in the distance—
Another gigantic wave rolled toward them.
Sanji: "…?"
anwhile — Enies Lobby
Another Sea Train carrying governnt officials arrived at a land bathed in light.
Even though it was midnight—
The island was still illuminated by perpetual daylight.
The boundary between light and darkness was striking.
This was the Island That Never Sleeps—
Enies Lobby.
"We finally made it!" Kalifa said excitedly while looking at the glowing island.
The group finally relaxed.
No one who hadn't experienced it could understand the chaos they had endured tonight.
"It's exactly midnight," Kalifa said as she stepped off the train.
"Let's forget tonight's troubles."
Rob Lucci had already removed his bandages.
He wore a long coat, looking cold and confident.
Even the pigeon on his shoulder wore a matching coat.
Blueno carried a struggling Franky over his shoulder.
The four of them stepped onto Enies Lobby.
The Gate of Justice
Rows of Marines guarded the main gate.
The outer periter of Enies Lobby was surrounded by iron fences.
The island itself floated above a massive waterfall abyss.
Nurous courthouse buildings filled the island.
At its center stood the towering Tower of Justice, with the flag of the World Governnt flying at the top.
Behind it stood the gigantic Gates of Justice.
Thousands of Marines were stationed here to uphold the dignity of the World Governnt.
But today—
That dignity was destined to be shattered.
Inside Enies Lobby
Inside a room, Spandam, chief of CP9, slamd a newspaper onto the table.
"Today should have been a happy reunion after five years!"
"But what's this about?!"
He glared at the three agents across from him.
They were:
Kumadori, the lion-like agent with long pink hairFukurou, the zipper-mouthed owl manJabra, the user of the Wolf-Wolf Fruit
"This assassination mission against the Revolutionary Army branch leaders was supposed to eliminate only three targets!"
"But twenty-three people disappeared!"
Kumadori suddenly drew a dagger.
"My deepest apologies, Chief!"
"I shall atone by committing seppuku!"
He stabbed toward his own stomach.
But—
"Iron Body!"
CLANG!
The dagger struck his abdon like tal.
"How unfortunate… I cannot die."
Kumadori sighed and tossed the dagger aside.
anwhile, Spandam could only rage helplessly in his chair.
It was obvious—
The mbers of CP9 didn't respect him at all.
Back on Rocketman
"Man… I'm exhausted…"
Sanji rubbed his sore legs.
The ocean waves had nearly disappeared.
The Aqua Laguna was finally retreating.
Just as he was about to step back inside the train—
His Observation Haki suddenly reacted.
A frog stood directly on the railway tracks ahead.
"Huh?"
"Isn't that the frog that got hit by the train earlier today?"
Before the train could hit it again—
Sanji kicked off the air and shot forward like an arrow.
"Can't let you wreck this train!"
His kick sliced through the air.
"Ribbit!"
The frog showed no fear.
They collided.
The frog flew high into the air and splashed into the sea.
"What was that frog about?" Nami asked Kokoro.
"That's Yokozuna," Kokoro replied while drinking heavily.
"Ever since that incident…"
"He's been training every day by head-butting the Sea Train."
"That incident?"
"Yeah…"
Arrival
"Hey! Looks like we're here!"
Sanji shouted from the front of the train.
"The Island of Dayti—Enies Lobby!"
"Hmm?" Zoro's sleep bubble popped.
He tightened his grip on his swords.
"We're here already?"
Everyone beca tense.
Rocketman crossed the boundary between darkness and eternal daylight.
"Wait!" Usopp suddenly realized.
"Where's Luffy?!"
"There's no ti to wait for him," Zoro said.
"Let's move."
He stepped onto the front of the train beside Sanji.
"The final battle…"
"…is about to begin."
The Front Gate of Enies Lobby
The Marines guarding the gate looked half-asleep.
Suddenly—
CRASH!
Rocketman's shark-shaped front smashed straight through the outer fence.
"ENEMY ATTACK!"
The guards used the Den Den Mushi on their wrists to alert the island.
Slash! Slash! Slash!
Several sword flashes appeared.
All the guards collapsed instantly.
The Straw Hats stood before the massive gate.
"So… how do we get inside?" Usopp asked.
Zoro looked at him like he was an idiot.
He casually drew his sword.
Slash.
A clean opening appeared in the gigantic gate—large enough for a person to walk through.
Zoro stepped forward.
Inside was a grassy road.
At the end stood:
A Marine officerTwo giant soldiersA group of Marines
Zoro's eyes locked onto the officer.
The man had curly black hair, a gaunt face missing a tooth, grayish skin, and a huge belly. His arms were muscular, but his legs were thin.
He wore a red-feathered helt and a Marine coat with a "Justice" cloak.
Soon the rest of the Straw Hats stepped through the gate.
"G-Giants?!" Usopp shouted in shock.
The Marine officer drew his sword.
"I am Marine Captain T-Bone!"
"This is the road that leads to justice!"
"For the honor of the Marines, I must stop you here!"
He raised his sword with both hands.
The blade glowed faintly.
"Straight Cut: Flying Bird!"
A straight beam of sword light shot toward Zoro, forming an arrow-like slash.
Zoro calmly drew Yubashiri.
"One-Sword Style…"
"36 Pound Phoenix!"
A blue flying slash shot forward.
It shattered T-Bone's attack instantly—
And struck him directly.
Blood sprayed.
T-Bone collapsed unwillingly.
Zoro walked past him.
"Your justice may be heavy…"
"But we carry our captain's orders."
He looked ahead.
Two giants stood there, holding a massive axe and hamr.
"Giants, huh…"
Sanji stepped beside him.
"One each."
"Let's finish them in one minute."
