Cough! Cough!!
Luffy crawled out of the rubble, wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth with the back of his hand. The intense pain made his brows knit tightly together.
"The gap in Observation Haki is still too big… Kizaru's Observation Haki… it's probably already at the very pinnacle of the seas!"
"But that doesn't an I have no advantage!"
As soon as the words fell, his broken bones and lost blood… all began to regenerate and recover.
A faint crimson light reflected in Luffy's pupils, and the world suddenly beca far more vivid.
He could hear the mountains, the rivers, the wind and thunder, the earth, the stones, the trees, the grass… countless voices.
He could communicate with them.
He was embracing nature itself.
The Voice of All Things—activated!
Luffy lifted his head, his black hair whipping wildly in the raging wind.
The heavens changed color.
Gales roared, waves surged, and streaks of black-red lightning flickered through the sky, appearing and vanishing in the void.
Luffy stepped back.
The ground beneath his feet shattered inch by inch.
BOOM!!
Black lightning coiled tightly around his arm as he threw a punch. The speed was so great it left behind afterimages—the world itself seed to freeze for a mont.
Kizaru's body tensed as a flash of golden light flickered past.
At the sa ti, Luffy's arm bent midair, accelerating even further as it chased Kizaru down.
Feeling the suffocating danger from the incoming fist, Kizaru could only retreat helplessly, turning into streaks of light that darted left and right.
Kizaru felt sowhat speechless.
As the fastest man in the world, speed had always been the thing he was most proud of.
"Speed is power."
It had practically beco his catchphrase.
And yet now, so brat who hadn't even grown all his hair yet was actually keeping up with his speed!
But soon, sothing even more outrageous happened.
Luffy's punches were starting to surpass him in speed.
Luffy's left arm spun around and shot forward again.
Both of his arms stretched, folded, and curved endlessly, stirring the winds and clouds across the sky.
"Are youngsters these days all this terrifying?"
Life was tough.
Kizaru sighed.
Thanks to his extraordinarily powerful Observation Haki, he could see every trajectory of Luffy's punches clearly.
Even though he was slightly slower now, he still moved with ease.
At the sa ti, Kizaru noticed sothing about Luffy's current state.
In Kizaru's eyes, Luffy seed to be wrapped in the power of nature itself.
Because of that, his lightning power had grown stronger.
My dear Sengoku…
Just how exactly am I supposed to capture soone like this?
After thinking for a mont, Kizaru made a decision.
He would simply drag this out.
Luffy's state couldn't last forever, and his nerves wouldn't hold out much longer.
After more than two hours of high-intensity combat, there was no way Luffy wouldn't collapse eventually.
Whoosh!
Two arms wrapped in black lightning whipped through the sky like blurs, gradually dominating the entire heavens.
But even so—
That tiny streak of golden light continued weaving left and right, elegantly dodging every punch.
Suddenly, Kizaru transford into countless particles of light.
When he reford—
He was already above Luffy's head.
His glowing golden leg lifted high before crashing down with overwhelming force at incredible speed.
Luffy suddenly sensed danger.
Within a fraction of a second, his arms snapped back and crossed tightly above his head.
BOOM!!
A black-and-gold bolt of lightning shot into the sky, shattering the clouds overhead.
The powerful shockwave caused Kizaru's Justice coat to billow violently.
The ground within a hundred ters shattered apart as Luffy stood firm, the impact ripping through ruined buildings and carving a massive trench across the land.
"Your Observation Haki has improved, huh?"
"What a frightening boy."
A strange glint flashed behind Kizaru's tinted glasses.
At the start of the battle, Luffy hadn't been able to react to his speed at all.
After all—
To react to the speed of light, the only way was through prediction.
…That boy was already approaching the threshold of Future Sight.
So… I've beco a great teacher now, have I?
Kizaru felt bitter inside, but he had no choice but to keep fighting.
His right hand tightened in the air.
Golden light condensed—
From the hilt…
To the blade tip…
A blazing sword of light radiating destructive energy ford in his grip.
Ama no Murakumo Sword!
Gripping the sword with both hands, Kizaru transford into a streak of golden light, moving like a phantom.
Luffy closed his eyes tightly as his Observation Haki was pushed to its absolute limit.
Suddenly—
The air rippled.
A breeze brushed against his face.
"There!"
Luffy reacted instantly.
But… it was too late.
Slash!!
The golden blade hacked viciously across Luffy's chest, sending blood and bone fragnts spraying through the air.
Luffy threw a punch with explosive force while Kizaru raised his sword to block.
At the instant of collision, Kizaru flashed behind Luffy and swung the Ama no Murakumo Sword downward before instantly retreating again.
The searing pain caused cold sweat to bead across Luffy's forehead. His teeth clenched as his body trembled.
Too slow…
My Observation Haki can't keep up with his speed at all!
Future Sight… just what exactly is it?
Calm.
Staying calm was the foundation of Observation Haki training.
Luffy endured the pain and closed his eyes again.
The grueso wound on his chest began slowly stitching itself back together, revealing fresh pink flesh beneath.
In the distance, Kizaru narrowed his eyes.
Then his entire body erupted with blazing light.
A dazzling golden pillar shot into the sky—
Before exploding in midair into countless sparkling light particles, scattering like heavenly petals.
As they descended, the light rapidly stretched, twisted, and condensed.
In the blink of an eye—
One figure after another identical to Kizaru appeared across the sky.
Light Clones!
Each one held an Ama no Murakumo Sword as they transford into countless golden streaks diving downward.
The closest "Kizaru" flashed forward, swinging his light blade.
Luffy tilted his head.
The golden sword narrowly grazed past his hair.
Luffy's eyes snapped open.
A red glow exploded within them.
He finally saw—
No.
He foretold—
Kizaru's movents.
Future Sight.
Countless golden figures launched simultaneous attacks from every direction.
Sword light filled the sky.
Every slash carried devastating power.
A grin spread across Luffy's face as black lightning crackled around him.
Thunder Rage!
Luffy slamd his hand against the ground.
Black lightning surged outward, forming a massive vortex that blotted out the sky, grinding one clone after another into nothingness.
A thunderous fist slamd into the Ama no Murakumo Sword, forcing Kizaru to retreat rapidly.
"Now…"
"We can finally have a real fight!"
Luffy's fighting spirit ignited.
Black-red lightning flickered wildly through the sky as massive waves surged across the sea.
A violent storm roared alongside the flashing thunder.
The overwhelming pressure—born from pure willpower and spirit—forced Marines, pirates, and civilians across the Sabaody Archipelago to drop to their knees, gasping for breath.
Black and gold figures collided repeatedly.
The shockwaves of their battle shook the heavens themselves.
Elsewhere on the Sabaody Archipelago—
Akainu's face was dark.
He had thought Borsalino would have finished things quickly.
He hadn't expected the fight to drag on this long.
Opposite him, Silvers Rayleigh looked pale, his body trembling.
His chest and abdon had been burned black by magma.
"Dark King Rayleigh…"
"Go to hell!"
Akainu's Marine cap had long since been blown away, revealing his sharp crew cut.
Even though his body was covered in savage wounds, he didn't frown even once.
His eyes burned with a single desire—
To kill this legendary figure.
The swelling magma ignited like a road to hell itself as Akainu charged forward like a rabid hound, dragging scorching magma toward Rayleigh.
Rayleigh's sword hand trembled.
Every one of Akainu's attacks carried overwhelming killing intent.
But he couldn't retreat.
If he stepped away, no one would be able to stop that mad dog.
And the boy wearing the straw hat would surely die.
The two clashed wildly within the ruined town.
Wherever they passed—
The ground collapsed.
Magma erupted.
Shockwaves exploded.
And Haki ran rampant.
Ti passed slowly.
One minute.
Five minutes.
Ten minutes.
One hour…
