Hearing Law's question, even Lao G and the others beside him revealed curious expressions.
Given Lao G's age, he had naturally heard of Rosinante's na before. But for one thing, that na had vanished from the world for ten whole years, to the point that most people had almost forgotten it entirely.
Secondly, everything they knew had only co from rumors and old newspapers. Their understanding of him was incredibly shallow.
Which was why all of them were extrely curious about just what kind of person this so-called Dragon King really was.
"Hehehe… if we're talking about the Dragon King, then there's no choice but to say this: he was a figure who left the entire world staring upward in awe."
"Ten years ago, he was already qualified to stand alongside the current Whitebeard, Kaido, and Big Mom as one of the Four Emperors."
"At the ti, the Gray Kingdom's influence was unmatched. In terms of overall power, it even surpassed those three pirate crews. The World Governnt feared them deeply."
Trebol spoke as he led everyone toward the underground harbor.
"If the World Governnt hadn't been terrified of the Dragon King's abilities and the Gray Kingdom's terrifying growth rate, they would never have mobilized all of the Navy's top forces."
"The Fleet Admiral Sengoku. Hero of the Marines Garp. Commander-in-Chief Kong."
"Even CP0 and one of the Five Elders were deployed just to hunt down the Dragon King."
"In the end, they managed to exile his soul to another world, leaving the Gray Kingdom without its captain."
"Otherwise… today's Gray Kingdom might not have been weaker than the World Governnt at all."
"That's impossible!" Lao G exclaid in shock.
"I've heard of the Gray Kingdom before, but there's no way it was that powerful!"
"Hehehe… not that powerful?" Trebol sneered.
"The Gray Kingdom had seven divisions. Two of the weakest divisions currently rule the Sky Islands, so even if I ntioned them, you probably wouldn't know them."
"But you have heard of the Mammoth Elephant Pirates, the Exploder Pirates, the Emperor Dawn Pirates, the One-Eyed Wolf Pirates, and the Blood Sword King Pirates, right?"
"Of course," Law answered imdiately.
"They're known as the five strongest pirate crews beneath the Four Emperors. The Donquixote Family even has alliances with them. Don't tell …"
"That's right," Trebol grinned.
"They were originally the five great divisions of the Gray Kingdom."
"When the Gray Kingdom still existed, they ruled dozens of nations across the Four Seas and the first half of the Grand Line."
"If they hadn't lost their captain and suffered constant suppression from the World Governnt afterward, their growth would've been even more terrifying."
Lao G nodded slowly.
"If those five pirate crews were united again under a powerful captain, then yes… the Gray Kingdom really could rival the Four Emperors."
Still, even then, he didn't think they could truly surpass the World Governnt.
"The Gray Kingdom's strength went far beyond that," Trebol said disdainfully.
"At its peak, the Gray Kingdom had eight divisions and one Imperial Guard."
"I already told you about the seven divisions. Think carefully… where do you think the final division is now?"
Lao G's expression suddenly changed.
"Don't tell …"
"Hehehe… the eighth division of the Gray Kingdom was none other than our Donquixote Family."
"We were once the Gray Kingdom's Zeroth Division, responsible for intelligence operations."
"So that's how it is…" Lao G muttered.
"No wonder Young Master's acting so strangely today. Having a younger brother like that… it must've been hard on him."
"You think the Gray Kingdom's strength stopped there?" Trebol scoffed.
"If that was all they had, why would the Young Master willingly lower his head and lead the Donquixote Family into the Gray Kingdom?"
"Imperial Guard…" Law suddenly spoke.
"Are you talking about the Oathblood Royal Guard?"
Ever since hearing Rosinante and Doflamingo's conversation earlier, Law had been thinking deeply. He already knew Rosinante's purpose for coming here was to find Whitebeard.
More specifically, to find the so-called Oathblood Royal Guard.
And now, hearing Trebol ntion the Imperial Guard again, Law imdiately thought of the Whitebeard Pirates' strongest division commanders, the legendary Oathblood Divisions.
"That's right," Trebol replied.
"The strongest force within the Gray Kingdom wasn't the seven divisions, nor our Zeroth Division, the Donquixote Family."
"It was the Oathblood Royal Guard."
"Ten years ago, the World Governnt targeted them especially heavily, so they had no choice but to seek refuge under Whitebeard."
"And now, they've beco the Whitebeard Pirates' strongest force."
"Not only that, but among the Seven Warlords of the Sea, three of them — including Young Master himself — all ca from the Gray Kingdom."
"And then there's Dragon King Rosinante himself, whose strength rivals the Four Emperors."
"Think about it carefully. Just how powerful was the Gray Kingdom?"
The mont those words fell, everyone present revealed expressions of complete disbelief.
Three Warlords of the Sea had originated from the Gray Kingdom?
If all those forces were gathered together again, then calling it the strongest organization beneath the World Governnt wouldn't be an exaggeration at all.
It might even surpass the Navy itself.
"And the most terrifying part," Trebol continued, "is that from its founding to its peak, the Gray Kingdom only took five years to build."
"Combined with Dragon King Rosinante's monstrous talent and overwhelming strength, the World Governnt beca truly afraid of him."
"That's what led to the great battle ten years ago."
"After that battle, the Gray Kingdom shattered into pieces… becoming what it is today."
"What a monster…" Lao G and the others muttered in shock.
"Wait… ten years ago?" Law frowned.
"But he only looks around twenty years old now. If this was all ten years ago… wouldn't he have only been about ten back then?"
"That's sothing I don't understand either," Trebol admitted.
"After not seeing Dragon King Rosinante for ten years, he looks exactly the sa as before."
"If Doffy himself hadn't confird it, even I would've suspected soone was impersonating him."
"But that overwhelmingly tyrannical Haki…"
"There's no mistaking it."
"He is Dragon King Rosinante."
