For now, I ignored the rest of the notifications and ntally closed the system panel with a satisfied flick of a thought. The numbers were impressive enough; I could review the finer details later.

Robin and Queen Titi were noticeably absent. Both were still recovering from the exhausting session in the mausoleum—bodies sore, minds blissfully foggy—and they'd chosen to remain in bed for a while longer.
Vivi wasn't at the table either; she was off in a eting with Marine officers, negotiating compensation and reparations related to Crocodile's rebellion.
The rest of us settled in for a lively dinner. I looked around at the faces of my won—Nami, Kaya, Kuina, Lily, and a few others who had joined the group—and decided to bring up my next plan.
As we started the dinner Titi, Vivi and Robin also joined us. They seed tired but still joined for the food.
"So, girls," I said casually while spearing a piece of tender lamb, "which of you are coming with to the other cities? We still need to solve the rain problem across Alabasta. I could use so company on the road."
I had expected at least a couple to jump at the chance for adventure—and more private ti with —but the responses were a string of polite refusals that left genuinely surprised.
Vivi spoke first, her expression full of genuine regret as she set down her glass. "I really want to go with you, Alex, but the aftermath of Crocodile's rebellion isn't fully resolved yet. I still have to et with the forr rebels, the Marine officers, and even representatives from the World Governnt. It's going to take days, maybe longer. I'm sorry… I can't leave right now."
Nami leaned back in her chair, fanning herself dramatically with her hand. "Kaya and I are sitting this one out too. This country is all desert—scorching hot during the day, freezing at night. That kind of temperature swing is murder on our skin. We'd rather stay here in the royal palace, enjoy the cool baths, and keep our complexions perfect."
Kaya nodded in agreent, smiling apologetically. "Sorry, Alex. I actually want to spend so ti in the royal library. They have rare dical texts I've never seen before. It's a unique opportunity."
Robin, who had managed to join us despite her fatigue, gave a small, knowing smile. "I'd like to stay and study more as well. Now that I've read one Poneglyph, I want to cross-reference what I learned with any related records or maps the palace might have hidden away."
Kuina straightened up proudly. "I'm going to train with the royal guards. They have excellent swordsn here, and I want to test my skills against them."
Finally, I turned to Lily with hopeful eyes. She was usually the most adventurous of the group, always up for travel and new experiences. Surely she'd co along.
But Lily shook her head, looking almost smug. "The royal chef told there's basically no decent food outside the capital if I go with you. He promised a three-day, three-night feast starting tonight—special dishes just for . So… I'm staying."
I blinked as I was montarily speechless. One by one, they had all turned down.
I glanced across the table at Queen Titi, who had slipped in quietly at so point. She t my gaze with a mischievous, almost predatory smile.
"It seems, son-in-law, that we're destined to spend so ti together after all," she said smoothly, her voice low and teasing. "I hope you don't mind traveling with an old woman like ."
Lily, Kaya, and Vivi didn't seem to catch the undertone—they just smiled politely. But Nami, Kuina, and a few of the others narrowed their eyes suspiciously. I even heard Kaya mutter "pervert" under her breath, though she quickly hid it behind a sip of wine.
Dinner wrapped up soon after. Lily practically bounced off toward the kitchens for her promised feast. Robin excused herself to return to the library. Kaya and Kuina headed out for their own activities—dical reading and sword training. The rest of the girls drifted back to their rooms to rest or gossip.
That left and Titi.
I caught her eye again as the hall emptied. She rose gracefully, smoothing her dress, and gave a slow, knowing smile that promised anything but restful travel.
"Shall we discuss our plan, son-in-law?" she asked innocently, though her tone dripped with a lewd tone.
I smirked back, already anticipating the "rain-solving" journey ahead. This trip just got a lot more interesting.
"OK, mother-in-law, let's go to our room for so planning discussion."
