"Hahaha! Sorry, truly sorry..." Having realized his blunder, Red-Haired Shanks scratched his head and laughed heartily. "But if you're going to slay , you'll have to wait until you can actually stand up first."
With that, Shanks had his subordinates call for the ship's doctor. He stood up and gave a wave to Rowan and the others. "Well then, Mr. Rowan, we'll be taking our leave now."
The Red Force hoisted its sails and began to navigate back the way it had co. Under Sengoku's directive, the circle of warships parted to allow a path for Shanks.
With the Red-Haired Pirates gone, only three Sea Emperors remained within the encirclent. Both the pirates and the Marines present realized that this world-shaking battle likely wouldn't break out after all.
Truth be told, although the Marine soldiers were brimming with fighting spirit, the idea of simultaneously going to war with four Emperors was still daunting—even with the full might of the Navy gathered. This was the New World, the backyard of the Emperors. If a true war erupted and the Emperors' main fleets arrived, the combined might of the Yonko crews might actually overwhelm the Navy. Whitebeard alone commanded 43 subordinate crews totaling tens of thousands of n.
As Shanks departed, not only the Navy but also the surrounding pirates, news reporters, and observers let out a collective sigh of relief. If a clash had occurred, they would have been the first collateral damage. Such a conflict was beyond their capacity to endure.
"We're leaving as well," Whitebeard said, giving Rowan one last, deep look.
His primary objective today was to retrieve Ace, and his secondary goal was to witness the duel between Rowan and Mihawk. Both were accomplished. He had also unexpectedly witnessed strength from Rowan that was formidable enough to make even him cautious. It was ti to go. He had no interest in ddling in whatever grudge remained between Rowan, Kaido, and Big Mom.
Ace, seeing Old Man Garp arrive, finally felt the heavy stone in his heart lift. The Moby Dick began to move slowly. Sengoku did not move to stop Whitebeard either.
Once Whitebeard left, Big Mom withdrew her gaze from Rowan and commanded in her shrill voice, "We're going!" Since she could no longer "possess" Rowan, staying was pointless.
Seeing Big Mom leave, Cavendish of the Beautiful Pirates narrowed his eyes and whispered to his n, "Lower our pirate flag and follow behind Big Mom's ship."
"Captain, why are we..." His subordinate was confused, but seeing Cavendish's solemn face, he imdiately complied. Sothing felt very wrong.
One by one, the ships began to filter out. Soon, the only Emperor's vessel remaining was Kaido's. As for the other independent pirate ships, aside from Gekko Moria who remained sowhat composed, the captains were trembling. They weren't Emperors who commanded the Navy's caution, nor were they Warlords allied with the Governnt. They feared that a single wrong move would turn them into targets for the hundred-plus warships surrounding them.
Aboard the Hundred Beasts' ship, Kaido watched his peers leave with utter contempt. In his eyes, their departure was a sign of cowardice—they were simply afraid of the Navy. After ntally cursing the three of them, he barked, "We're leaving!"
However, just as Kaido's sails were being raised, Rowan took a step forward on the shore of Dachik Island and spoke loudly.
"Wait a mont!"
"Hmm?" Kaido narrowed his eyes, fury resurfacing on his face. He turned back toward Rowan and hissed, "You old man, do you really think my Hundred Beasts Pirates are pushovers?!"
At his words, King, Queen, and the various officers entered a state of high alert.
Rowan took a puff from his pipe and pointed toward Doflamingo, who was standing behind Kaido. "You can go, but he stays."
Doflamingo's behavior over the past few days had been far too arrogant. He had acted out at Marine Headquarters, sent people to raid the prison, and just monts ago tried to incite a mass pirate attack to kill him. If Rowan didn't teach this man a lesson today, the "Heavenly Yaksha" would truly believe that his status as a Celestial Dragon and a Warlord made him untouchable!
Doflamingo's face turned pale. Is this man really going to ignore my status and strike? He seed to have conveniently forgotten his own attempts to have Rowan killed earlier. To him, Rowan's demand was a violation of the World Governnt's rules!
Of course, in Rowan's eyes, those rules ant nothing. If he cared about the Governnt's status quo, he wouldn't have beaten a Celestial Dragon at Sabaody Archipelago in the past.
Kaido took a step forward, completely shielding Doflamingo. "Leave Joker? And if I say no?!"
"No?"
Rowan smiled faintly and tucked his pipe into his belt. His expression suddenly turned ice-cold, and his figure vanished from the spot!
In an instant, Rowan appeared on the deck of the Hundred Beasts' ship. His calm voice exploded like a thunderclap right next to Doflamingo's ear.
"Just based on you? You can't stop !"
