The deep, rhythmic hum of the Thousand Sunny's colossal arc reactor was a lullaby vibrating through the thick, reinforced walls of Ben's private quarters. The room, completely soundproofed and locked down with top-tier magical wards, was a sanctuary of peace in a ship otherwise filled with beautiful chaos.

Beneath the heavy, silk-woven sheets of the massive king-sized bed, Ben slowly began to stir. The ambient lighting of the room was dialed down to a soft, artificial dusk, casting long shadows.

Ben let out a long, contented exhale, his eyes still closed. He could feel the soft, steady rise and fall of the chest pressed flush against his side. Robin was curled against him, her smooth, pale skin radiating a comforting warmth. One of her long legs was draped casually over his, and her face was buried in the crook of his neck.

Sensing his shift in breathing, Robin let out a soft, sleepy murmur. Her dark eyelashes fluttered against his skin as she began to wake, her fingers lightly tracing mindless patterns on his chest.

"Good morning," Ben whispered, his voice thick and raspy with sleep. He shifted slightly, wrapping his arm tighter around her waist and pulling her closer.

Robin let out a quiet, velvety chuckle, her breath tickling his collarbone. She slowly tilted her head up, peering at him through half-open, heavy-lidded eyes. "Is it morning?" she mused, her voice a low, lodic purr. "We're thousands of leagues underwater inside a magically expanded galleon. Ti is a bit of a subjective concept down here... especially considering we only went to sleep a few hours ago. You were quite... energetic last night."

Ben smirked, leaning down to bury his face in her dark hair, inhaling the faint scent of jasmine and old parchnt that always seed to linger on her. "h. Who cares what ti it is? Besides, after the history lesson you squeezed out of , I needed the cardio."

Robin smiled against his skin, entirely unapologetic.

"Shall we take a bath together?" Ben suggested, his hand gently trailing down the curve of her spine.

Robin's eyes glead with a familiar, mischievous light. "I suppose a little more ti in the water wouldn't hurt."

Ben didn't need to be told twice. He pushed the heavy silk sheets aside, letting the cool, climate-controlled air of the room hit his skin. Standing up, he scooped Robin effortlessly into his arms. She wrapped her arms around his neck, resting her head against his shoulder as he carried her across the room.

They pushed through the frosted glass doors of the en-suite bathroom. Like the rest of the ship, Ben had spared no expense or magical energy here. The bath was practically a miniature Roman bathhouse, featuring a massive sunken tub carved from black marble, enchanted to keep the water at the perfect, muscle-lting temperature.

Two hours later, the heavy bathroom doors hissed open, releasing a thick cloud of fragrant steam into the bedroom.

Ben walked out drying his hair with a towel, feeling more relaxed than he had in months. Robin followed closely behind, wrapped in a plush robe. She walked directly past him and opened the doors to a massive, walk-in closet that was bigger than most standard ship cabins.

Over the last two years, Robin had practically moved in. Her own designated quarters elsewhere on the ship. Half of the expansive closet was filled with her extensive wardrobe—everything from practical combat gear to high-end dresses, alongside stacks of rare books she didn't want in the main library.

They dressed in comfortable, casual clothes. Ben opted for a simple black shirt and trousers, while Robin chose a sleek, dark blue sundress that contrasted beautifully with her pale skin.

Stepping out of the quarters, they walked down the grand, carpeted corridors of the Sunny.

They made their way up to the main deck. Looking over the railing through the bubble protecting the ship, they saw the dark, swirling waters of the deep ocean. Beneath them, the colossal, scarred head of the Island Whale was still visible, steadily carrying the massive flagship on its back.

"Looks like our ride is still going strong," Ben noted, leaning against the railing.

"It's a beautiful creature," Robin agreed softly.

"FOOD!" a booming voice echoed from the galley doors.

Luffy burst out onto the deck.

"Sanji and Vivi made breakfast! Co on!" Luffy cheered, stretching his arm out to grab the mast and slingshotting himself back toward the massive dining hall.

Ben and Robin shared an amused look and followed their captain.

The dining hall was a cavernous room featuring a long, sprawling oak table capable of seating fifty. At the head of the kitchen, Sanji was a blur of motion, he was flipping pancakes, chop ingredients, and plate dishes simultaneously. Beside him, Vivi was gracefully managing the massive ovens, utilizing her Observation Haki to know exactly when every pastry was baked to perfection. Caroo, her giant spot-billed duck, was wearing a chef's hat and eagerly carrying trays of food to the table.

As Ben and Robin walked through the doorway, Sanji suddenly froze mid-flip. The pancakes plumted back into the skillet with a sizzle. His senses instantly picked up the faint, lingering scent of jasmine and expensive bath salts, radiating alongside the unmistakable relaxed aura of two people who had enjoyed a very thorough morning together.

Even though he had known about their relationship for two entire years, the reality of it never failed to completely shatter the lovestruck cook.

"B-Ben... Robin-chwan..." Sanji stamred, biting down on his kitchen towel as thick, ani-style tears began streaming down his face. He dropped his spatula and fell to his knees, a dark aura of jealousy radiating from his fra. He slamd his fists against the floor tiles, completely ignoring the smoking skillet. "Two years! Two whole years of this torture! Why him?! What does he have that I don't?! I cook! I clean! I have magnificent, spiraling eyebrows!"

Ben just chuckled, walking past the weeping chef and casually patting him on the shoulder. "Slls great, Sanji. Thanks for breakfast."

"I'll poison your tea!" Sanji sobbed, though he imdiately scrambled up to pull out a chair for Robin with perfect gentlemanly grace. "Here you go, my beautiful goddess!"

"Good morning, you two!" Vivi smiled warmly, ignoring Sanji's breakdown as she placed a massive platter of bacon and eggs onto the table. "Eat up, we've got a busy day ahead."

The crew dug in with their usual ferocious appetite. Chopper, in his small reindeer form, was happily munching on cotton candy pancakes, while Bonney was shoveling food into her mouth at a pace that rivaled Luffy's.

After the massive breakfast, the crew naturally dispersed to pass the ti before they breached the surface.

Out on the massive grassy deck two distinct card gas had been established. The contrast between the two tables was staggering.

On the port side, the 'Serious Table' was engaged in a high-stakes ga of Rummy. Dorry, Brogy, Oimo, and Kashii were sitting comfortably on regular-sized lawn chairs around a standard patio table.

Sitting opposite the giants were Zoro, Franky, and Brook.

"I fold," Zoro grunted, tossing his cards down on the table. He took a long swig from a jug of sake. "This ga is stupid. Brogy is obviously counting cards."

"Gegyagyagyagya!" Brogy laughed, his booming voice still vibrating with deep resonance despite his smaller stature. "I don't even know what counting cards ans, little swordsman! I just trust the heart of the warrior!"

"I am currently running a probability," Franky announced, his cybernetic eye whirring as it scanned the cards on the table. His arc reactor pulsed with a soft blue light. "The statistical probability of Dorry drawing a King of Spades to complete his set is exactly 2.4 percent. I bet three barrels of cola."

"Yohohoho! I'll bet my finest violin strings!" Brook cheered, though he was holding his cards backward. "Though I must say, I am terrible at bluffing, seeing as I have no face to keep straight! Skull joke!"

Dorry smirked beneath his thick beard. He reached out and drew a card from the deck. He slamd it down on the table. It was the King of Spades. "Rummy!"

"SUPER BULLSHIT!" Franky roared, his tal fists clashing together. "My math is flawless! How do you keep doing that?!"

anwhile, on the starboard side, A warfare had broken out at the 'Chaos Table'.

Luffy sat cross-legged with a mountain of snacks beside him.

Bonney lounged lazily to his left with her boots resting on the edge of the table.

Next ca Sunny, carefully shuffling the Uno deck with exaggerated seriousness.

Across from Luffy sat Chopper, already nervous despite the ga not even starting yet.

Usopp leaned back dramatically in his chair beside him, wearing the expression of a man preparing for psychological warfare.

Finally, rry sat beside Luffy with her arms crossed, determined to maintain order.

Sunny finished shuffling and pointed around the table.

"Alright! Turn order goes clockwise! No cheating, no stacking illegal cards, and no yelling!"

Everyone stared at him.

"You're asking way too much," Bonney said.

Sunny ignored her and dealt seven cards to each player.

The first card was flipped onto the discard pile.

Blue 4.

"Perfect!" Luffy shouted imdiately, slamming down a Blue Reverse before anyone else moved.

rry sighed. "The ga started two seconds ago."

The direction reversed instantly.

Now turns moved counterclockwise.

rry played next.

"Blue 7."

Usopp imdiately grinned.

"Blue Skip! Chopper loses his turn!"

Chopper froze in disbelief. "WHY?!"

"Because if I let you play peacefully, you beco dangerous later."

"That doesn't even make sense!"

"It makes perfect sense."

Chopper slumped in betrayal while Bonney laughed loudly.

Sunny placed down a Blue 1.

Bonney followed with a Blue Draw Two.

"Take two, Straw Hat."

Luffy stared at the cards like they had personally offended him.

"My hand…"

"Now it's bigger."

Luffy drew his cards dramatically.

"This ga is cruel."

"It gets worse," rry warned.

Three rounds later, she was proven correct.

The pile changed from blue to yellow after Chopper carefully placed down a Yellow 5.

Usopp imdiately leaned forward suspiciously.

"…Sunny."

"What?"

"You smiled after drawing."

Sunny blinked. "Yeah?"

"That ans you got sothing good."

"That's how card gas work!"

Usopp pointed accusingly. "He has a Wild card. I can feel it."

Sunny looked horrified. "Stop trying to read my emotions!"

Bonney slapped down a Yellow Reverse with a wicked grin.

"Direction changes again."

Now the turns switched back clockwise.

Luffy instantly celebrated.

"My turn again already?! Best ga ever!"

He dropped a Yellow 9.

rry narrowed her eyes.

"You're suspiciously happy."

"I have no idea what I'm doing," Luffy admitted proudly.

"That sohow makes you more dangerous," Usopp muttered.

The ga continued smoothly for exactly one minute.

Usopp proudly placed down a Green 2 and leaned toward Chopper confidently.

"See? We're working together now."

Chopper nodded innocently.

"Yeah!"

Sunny played a Green Skip.

Bonney matched with a Green 5.

Then Chopper quietly placed down a Green Draw Two directly onto Usopp.

Usopp stared at him in horror.

"…Chopper."

Chopper avoided eye contact.

"Draw your cards."

"YOU SAID WE WERE A TEAM!"

"I changed my mind!"

Usopp clutched his chest dramatically. "The innocence is gone…"

Bonney nearly fell out of her chair laughing.

anwhile, rry had quietly reduced her hand to only two cards while everyone else argued.

Sunny noticed first.

"Wait."

Everyone turned.

rry calmly adjusted her horns.

"…What?"

"You only have two cards left!"

Usopp panicked instantly. "Why is she always silent when she's winning?!"

"Because, unlike you people, I focus on the ga."

Bonney slamd down a Red Draw Two toward rry imdiately.

"No winning allowed."

rry drew her cards with visible irritation.

Sunny followed with a Red Skip.

"Sorry, rry."

"You're not sorry."

"That's fair."

---

The ga continued, and the pressure intensified.

Usopp placed his card "Green!"

rry calmly placed down a Green 8.

"…Uno."

The entire table froze.

Usopp slowly stood up from his chair like a man witnessing a natural disaster approaching.

"Oh no."

Luffy looked at his cards confidently.

"I got this!"

He imdiately placed down a Green 3.

Usopp grabbed his head.

"THAT DOESN'T STOP HER!"

"I helped emotionally."

"That's not how Uno works!"

Bonney quickly examined her hand.

"No Draw Twos…"

Sunny started sweating.

"No Reverse either…"

Chopper gasped dramatically. "She's actually gonna win…"

Bonney slapped down a Green Skip.

Everyone's eyes widened hopefully.

"YES!" Usopp shouted.

Then Bonney pointed at Sunny.

"I skip him because he looks too confident."

Sunny slamd both hands on the table. "WHY?!"

"Collateral damage."

"You were supposed to stop RRY!"

"I'm preserving chaos."

Sunny groaned while his turn vanished.

Chopper nervously looked through his cards.

"…I can maybe save us."

The table leaned forward.

Chopper slowly placed down…

…a Green 1.

Silence.

Usopp stared at him in disbelief.

"That's your solution?!"

"I PANICKED!"

Usopp imdiately searched his own hand desperately.

"No Skip… no Draw Two…"

rry sat quietly watching all of them self-destruct.

Usopp suddenly grinned.

"Wait."

Everyone looked at him.

Usopp slamd down a Wild card dramatically.

"BLUE!"

The entire table erupted.

"YES!" Sunny shouted.

"We're alive!" Chopper cried.

rry narrowed her eyes slightly for the first ti all ga.

Now the turn finally returned to her.

rry looked at the single card remaining in her hand.

Green 2.

She clicked her tongue softly and drew from the deck.

Usopp jumped out of his chair celebrating like he'd just defeated a Yonko.

"WE SURVIVED!"

Luffy looked amazed. "You can do that?!"

"That's literally the ga, Captain!"

Bonney laughed loudly while pointing at rry. "Look at her face! She's actually annoyed!"

"I am perfectly calm," rry replied imdiately.

"You drew that card like it insulted your family."

The ga continued with renewed chaos.

rry now had two cards again.

Luffy accidentally helped her twice by changing colors without thinking.

Bonney kept targeting Sunny for no reason.

Chopper ford temporary alliances that lasted less than thirty seconds.

And Usopp had beco fully paranoid.

"She's waiting," he whispered dramatically. "rry's waiting for the perfect mont…"

Three full rotations later, the ga had beco complete chaos again.

Luffy sohow had fourteen cards.

Bonney had four.

Sunny had five.

Chopper had six.

Usopp had three.

And rry…

"…Uno," rry announced calmly.

The table froze AGAIN.

Usopp looked physically exhausted.

"HOW ARE YOU BACK TO ONE CARD?!"

"Skill."

"No, this is witchcraft."

This ti her final card was Blue.

Luffy went first.

He grinned proudly.

"I can stop her!"

He slamd down a Red Reverse.

Usopp blinked.

Then very slowly turned toward him.

"…Captain."

"What?"

"The color was blue."

Luffy looked down.

"…Oh."

Chopper covered his face.

"You can't play a red Reverse on blue!"

"Why not? It's reversing."

"That's not enough!"

Bonney was crying laughing now.

Sunny grabbed the illegal card and handed it back to Luffy.

"Try again."

Luffy thought very hard.

Then happily placed down a Blue 5.

"Fixed it!"

The ga continued.

Bonney placed Blue 2.

Sunny placed Blue Draw Two onto Chopper.

"Sorry!"

"WHY ?!"

Chopper drew his cards miserably.

Usopp imdiately followed with a Blue Reverse.

Direction changed to counterclockwise.

Usopp realized what he'd done one second too late.

The next turn beca Chopper.

Then Sunny.

Then Bonney.

Then Luffy.

And now—

rry smiled.

"…Thank you, Usopp."

Usopp's soul left his body.

"WAIT NO—"

rry calmly placed down her final Blue card.

"I win."

Dead silence.

Then every single person started screaming at once.

"USOPP THREW THE GA!"

"LUFFY ALMOST THREW IT FIRST!"

"WHY DID YOU REVERSE IT?!"

"I WAS TRYING TO BE COOL!"

rry leaned back in her chair with complete satisfaction while the others descended into blaming each other for the loss.

anwhile, Robin took one look at the chaos and sighed.

"…Yeah. I made the right choice not playing."

Eventually, the gas concluded as Sanji called everyone in for a massive lunch. The atmosphere was light, filled with laughter and the clinking of glasses. As they finished their last bites, a sudden, heavy shift in the ship's gravity alerted them.

"We're ascending!" Nami yelled, sprinting up from the garden toward the navigation room. "Everyone, brace yourselves! We are about to breach the surface and enter the New World!"

The crew rushed out onto the deck. The water outside the magical barrier was growing lighter, shifting from the oppressive, inky black of the abyss to a vibrant, crystal blue.

With a massive, echoing splash that sent tidal waves in all directions, the colossal Thousand Sunny broke the surface.

Sunlight, brilliant and blinding, flooded the deck. The crew shielded their eyes, breathing in the fresh, salty air of the open ocean. Beneath them, the pod of Island Whales surfaced as well, their massive blowholes shooting geysers of water high into the sky, creating dazzling rainbows.

"We made it!" Chopper cheered, transforming into his Heavy Point and pumping his fists in the air.

"The New World!" Luffy yelled, running to the lion figurehead at the bow and standing triumphantly on top of it.

Brook walked to the railing, leaning over. He tipped his top hat to the largest whale. "Thank you, my friend. We shall et Laboon soon, I promise you." The massive whale let out a low, rumbling hum of acknowledgent before slowly dipping beneath the waves, the rest of the pod following suit.

The Straw Hat Pirates were finally alone on the surface. But the serenity lasted exactly three minutes.

As the whales disappeared, the environnt around them violently asserted its dominance. The sky, which had been clear and sunny seconds ago, suddenly darkened. The clouds swirled into unnatural, jagged formations.

"What is with this weather?!" Nami yelled. "The barotric pressure is jumping from tropical to arctic every ten seconds!"

"Hey, guys..." Usopp pointed out over the starboard bow, his voice trembling slightly. "Is the ocean... on fire?"

The crew rushed to the railing. Usopp wasn't exaggerating. A mile ahead of them, a massive stretch of the ocean surface was literally ablaze. Massive pillars of fla shot out of the water, dancing wildly on the turbulent waves.

"Ah, damn it," Sanji sighed, stepping out of the galley holding a massive, charred skeletal spine. "I had just cut so pri at off that sea king Luffy caught earlier, and I tied the rest to a net dragging behind the ship to keep it fresh. But we just dragged it through a literal sea of flas. It's completely burnt to a crisp."

"MY AT!" Luffy cried, falling to his knees in despair.

"Don't worry about the at! Worry about the ship!" Usopp panicked, grabbing Franky by his massive, tallic shoulders. "Franky! Are the outer hulls heat resistant?! What if the Sunny catches fire?!"

Franky laughed, striking his signature 'SUPER' pose, the arc reactor in his chest glowing fiercely. "Usopp, my boy, you insult my engineering! The Sunny's hull is reinforced with a vibranium alloy coated in Ben's thermal-repulsion runes! We could sail this baby through the core of the sun and the ice cream in the freezer wouldn't even lt! The Thousand Sunny will never lose to a little campfire!"

"Look over there!" Vivi called out, pointing toward the horizon.

Rising out of the fiery sea in the distance was an island. Even from miles away, it was a terrifying sight. Half of the island was an erupting volcano, spewing thick, black ash and rivers of molten magma into the sky. The other half, impossibly, was a frozen wasteland of jagged ice mountains, battered by a relentless blizzard.

"An island of fire and ice?" Robin observed, her arms crossed. "Fascinating. The climate must be artificially locked in a state of extre conflict."

Nami looked at her wrist, checking the New World Log Pose Ben had procured for them. It had three separate glass dos, each containing a needle. All three needles were pointing in entirely different directions, vibrating wildly.

"Luffy," Nami called out, "None of the needles on the Log Pose are pointing toward that island. According to standard navigation rules, we should ignore it and follow the safest route indicated by the most stable needle."

Luffy stood up, his eyes locked onto the erupting volcano. A massive grin stretched across his face. "But that island looks aweso! Let's go there!"

"I knew you were going to say that," Nami sighed, though she smiled.

Suddenly, a sharp, piercing sound cut through the ambient roar of the burning sea.

Purururururu! Purururururu!

The crew froze.

Purururururu!

"Is that... a Den Den Mushi?" Zoro asked, his hand resting casually on the hilt of Shusui.

"It's coming from the communications room!" rry chirped, her ears pivoting toward the bridge.

Luffy imdiately bolted toward the source of the noise, the rest of the crew trailing right behind him. They piled into the high-tech communications hub, where a standard, snail-like Den Den Mushi was currently crying out, its receiver clattering on the hook.

Luffy reached out to pick it up.

"Wait, Luffy!" Usopp yelled, diving forward and tackling his captain's arm. Chopper jumped in to help, grabbing Luffy's other arm.

"Don't answer it!" Chopper cried, tears streaming down his furry face. "It's the New World! It could be a cursed snail! Or a ghost snail!"

"There's no such thing as a ghost snail, Chopper," Ben said, leaning against the doorfra.

"Actually," Robin interjected, her expression completely serene, "Ben is right. It is not a ghost. However, there is a fifty percent probability that this distress signal is a coordinated ambush set by the Marines, designed to lure rookie pirates into a trap where they will be systematically slaughtered."

Usopp and Chopper shrieked, holding onto Luffy tighter. "See?! It's an ambush! Leave it alone!"

Luffy completely ignored them. With an effortless flex of his heavily muscled arm, he shook Usopp and Chopper off like dust and picked up the receiver.

Clacha.

"Hello! I'm Monkey D. Luffy! I'm the man who will be the King of the Pirates!" Luffy announced cheerfully.

The room went dead silent. On the other end of the line, heavy, ragged breathing could be heard. Then, a panicked, desperate voice scread through the speaker.

"Help! Soone, please, help us! Is anyone out there?!" the man cried, his voice trembling with sheer terror. The sound of clashing steel and agonizing screams echoed in the background. "He's killing everyone! My entire unit is being slaughtered! You have to help us!"

Luffy's playful deanor vanished instantly. "Who is killing you? Where are you?"

"A... A samurai!" the man choked out, coughing heavily. "He's a monster! He's cutting us to pieces! Please, we're on Punk Hazard! You have to—"

A sickening shhhk sound echoed through the speaker. The man let out a wet gasp, followed by the heavy thud of a body hitting the floor. Then, the line went completely dead.

Gacha.

The communication room was deathly quiet, the only sound the crackling of the burning sea outside.

"A samurai?" Zoro repeated, his single eye narrowing with sudden, intense interest. He looked over at the skeletal musician. "Hey, Brook. You know anything about samurai?"

Brook adjusted his top hat, his posture sobering. "Indeed I do, Zoro-san. Samurai are the fearso swordsn of Wano Country. It is an incredibly isolated nation, governed by a strict closed-door policy. They do not welco outsiders, and they are not affiliated with the World Governnt. In fact, their swordsn are so notoriously powerful that even the Marines hesitate to approach their borders."

"A powerful swordsman from a closed-off country, huh?" Zoro smirked, a dangerous, eager light dancing in his eye. He patted the three swords at his hip. "Sounds like fun."

Luffy placed the receiver back onto the Den Den Mushi. He turned around to face his crew, rolling his shoulders. The imposing, powerful aura of the captain settled over the room.

"Soone asked for help," Luffy stated simply, leaving absolutely no room for argunt. He pointed a finger toward the front of the ship. "Set a course for that island of fire and ice. We're going to Punk Hazard!"
