Now reading: Chapter 146 - CHAPTER 146 - The Mad Queen Hathaway from One Piece: Transmigrated as Crocodile, a Action novel by TurdTranslations.

Hearing from a ssenger sent by Alice, Queen Hathaway wasn't calm anymore. It was the first ti in years that life had brought her such a significant surprise.

However, after the shock subsided, her worries began. What if Lantis started to experience unrest over food distribution? Initially, that wouldn't happen, but if the food supplies began to dwindle one day, things could change…

The thought of past occurrences darkened Hathaway's expression. She had always been reluctant to trade with external settlents and pressured herself to control the food supply channels precisely because of this fear.

"Quickly send people for support, but don't inform the others yet," Hathaway instructed a nearby warrior.

The warrior was taken aback. "Not tell the neighboring settlents? Are we supposed to ask them to cooperate with us?"

"Not yet, I have my plans."

"Understood."…

"Liya, has the Den Den Mushi in your lab rang before?" After making arrangents, Hathaway asked a mutated human with bone spurs.

There weren't many Den Den Mushi in Lantis, so they were very precious. There were monitoring Den Den Mushi, but the monitoring center was broken, lacking projection equipnt, or else inter-settlent communication wouldn't be so primitive.

"No," the girl shook her head.

"What ti is it?" The peaceful yet contemplative look on Hathaway's face masked the unease inside her; she sat there alone, the presence of her crimson aura intimidating to those around.

"It's 11 o'clock."

"Hmm? Already 11?!"

"Yes."

Queen Hathaway abruptly stood up, the killing intent exploding forth as she coldly ordered, "Relay orders for all combat personnel to stand by and each settlent must dispatch warriors as soon as possible."

Her expression puzzled Liya: "Your Majesty, is sothing wrong?"

"Just taking precautions."

"I understand."

"Do not leave the island indiscriminately in the future, it's not safe."

"Sure."

After a long while.

"Your Majesty, the Den Den Mushi rang; it's from Lord Morad's team. Hasn't he successfully reached the new island?" Liya's tone held so excitent as she held a Den Den Mushi. Despite disliking the Navy, she longed for a life on land without monsters.

"Let's hope so." Hathaway took the Den Den Mushi from Liya.

"Is it Morad?" Hathaway asked calmly.

"Uh, no, Your Majesty. I'm Ol, Morad's assistant. Chief Morad is currently arranging new accommodations for everyone. He asked to call and report that it's safe, and by that ans, other compatriots can gradually form teams to vacate Lantis…"

"Alright, I see. Thank you for the trouble." Hathaway replied flatly.

Once the call ended, the uncontrolled, rciless aura overflowed, instantly causing many warriors in the Ninth Garden to faint.

Liya looked at the suddenly ferocious Hathaway with concern; wasn't this the outco the Queen wanted? Did everyone starting a new life not seem positive? Or was it true that Hathaway didn't want them to leave, her heart overtaken by power?

Liya recalled that five years ago was the first ti she t a crazed Hathaway when they were rely a group imprisoned in hell, surviving by harming one another and feeding on their kind. It was during that period that Hathaway awakened her Conqueror's Haki.

"Imdiately, tell all warriors to bloodily fight; leave no Navy alive, they must be eradicated! Not a single soul can remain, they must all die!" Hathaway roared, akin to a wounded beast launching a final desperate attack.

Liya shivered at her words, "What's wrong?!"

"Morad hasn't called," Hathaway suppressed her inner craziness.

"But didn't you just say he…"

"That's incorrect. Do you think that after Morad left , we'd beco enemies? His call was a precaution. Can't you see what this implies?!" Hathaway lifted her gaze to the outside world through the window, her eyes filled with a murderous rage. In this world, there was no place for them, not even a little.

"Impossible?!" Liya quickly realized, if Morad had reached a private agreent with Hathaway, and now he wasn't the one calling directly, the result was evident. Weren't there rumors that the revolutionaries would help us? Why would this happen? Was it a trap?!

"Your Majesty, several settlents haven't responded to the signal flares. Should we send soone to check?" These hints gradually surfaced.

"No need! Continue to summon all responding warriors while sending envoys to the responding settlents to relay my orders…" Hathaway decisively refused.

Although Morad's departure had negative impacts on Lantis, it had not escalated, and Hathaway's control remained substantial, as her command directed thousands of warriors to converge.

In a particular settlent, Base Commander Resa watched a Lantis citizen just hang up the phone, a smirk on his face while gazing at Morad, whose hands and legs were locked in a heavy tal cage reinforced with Seastone: "See, not everyone isn't afraid of death."

"Commander of the Marines, is this really sufficient? I'm sorry, Lord Morad. They said if I just follow orders, I'd be able to survive with my child. I had no choice…" A Lantis man, tears on his face, tried to smile as he looked at Base Commander Resa.

anwhile, inside the settlent, all of Morad's team that he brought along were captured while attempting to reach the designated settling point. Trapped by their own people, even Morad couldn't escape the poisoned fate.

As a high-ranking CP0 official, they had countless thods of discreetly poisoning powerful individuals; this was their agency's hallmark and specialty. Over ti, CP0 had successfully covertly turned and eliminated quite a number of notable sea powers through psychological warfare and inurent with poison.

Confronting forces directly was never the style of their secret intelligence agencies; they preferred more labor-efficient thods.

"Of course, I'll keep my promise. But you'll need to host the next wave of incoming Lantis citizens after this is achieved, and afterward, you may have your freedom." Base Commander Resa maintained a sincere smile.

"Marines… Ato!" Morad, weakened and trapped in the cage, regretfully looked at the man who betrayed Lantis.

Having been seriously poisoned and engaged in brief combat, Morad's body, steeped in blood, displayed so grievous protest wounds as deep as the bone visible with continuous blood flow. He shot a hateful glare at Resa.

Sure enough, the Queen was always right; revolutionaries, Marines, the World Governnt—none could be trusted. They were all cut from the sa cloth! Just as deceitful traps! He had afflicted over two thousand compatriots willing to follow him out.

He cried out, feeling the chains tighten deeply within his flesh, oblivious to the suffocating reality. Fortunately, thanks to that call, the Queen should understand not to send more people to their deaths.

"Hang him alongside this group of natives on the edge of the chasm, but don't kill them just yet. If they die now, they lose much value.

With such potent blood energy, the monster should be attracted, right? This selection of mutants, heh…" Base Commander Resa comnted sweetly as he looked at hundreds of iron cages before him.

Each cage held several individuals: young, elderly, and warriors. Yet strangely, no one seed to cry. Every cage had bleeding, injured individuals; this was intentional, and so were killed during the capture, leaving their bodies on the ground.

Judging the Lantis peoples' retailoring glances made Resa profoundly uncomfortable; they were all fronting as the dying yet dared challenge him with their eyes. A truly nauseating bunch of natives.
