"When it cos to Conqueror's Haki, the key point is focus. Once you can fully control its release without distraction, you can be considered proficient. But Conqueror's Haki isn't just that. When your control and willpower reach a certain level, and you release it precisely, its effect is no longer limited to the opponent's spirit—it can damage the physical body as well. Moreover, when applied to Armant Haki, it can alter its quality. Have you reached the level of full mastery over your Conqueror's Haki?"

Despite his many doubts and grievances, the Empress shared what she knew with Hathaway.

"Yes," Hathaway nodded. Her Conqueror's Haki could already inflict tangible damage. Though she had never told anyone, the strength of her Armant Haki was partly due to the deterrent power of her Conqueror's Haki.

From this, Rosen could see she was on the right path. As for him, he had witnessed mastery firsthand—precision and control were clearly achievable.

"But even so, this is still a common use of Conqueror's Haki. Unlike the other two types, its strength depends largely on personal willpower. The stronger your conviction, the more it can trigger potential in critical monts, as if blessed by the heavens. That is why Conqueror's Haki is said to choose its wielder."

"Yet it's hard to asure, because a person must already possess extraordinary willpower and conviction to awaken it. And the individual can rarely compare their own strength of will with others, so although Conqueror's Haki is powerful, it can also be unstable."

"Isn't that basically a sudden awakening?" Rosen realized with a start.

Simply put, those with Conqueror's Haki gain an additional source of power—a phenonon often seen with Luffy.

"An extra source of power… now that you ntion it, I think I've felt that before," Rosen said, clenching his hand. It was clear the Empress had a deep understanding of Conqueror's Haki.

However, mastering it seed difficult. As the Empress explained, it's hard to gauge the strength of one's own will. This willpower manifests according to circumstances. Still, knowing this was better than not; Rosen now vaguely understood why Conqueror's Haki was so rare and so strong—it wasn't just about intimidation.

The Empress sipped her wine. People occasionally glanced over, so intending to approach—gang leaders, nobles—but hesitated upon seeing Rosen. After all, he was the forr Shichibukai and a key figure in recent major incidents, so discretion was better.

"This fish is good," Hathaway said, satisfied with a fried piece. She had experienced the characteristics of Conqueror's Haki many tis, even in her relatively short life. As a slave gladiator, her Haki had grown step by step through repeated trials.

"Armant Haki is simpler. With training and guidance, growth is noticeable. But written descriptions alone aren't enough—practical instruction alongside combat experience is necessary for rapid improvent. Observation Haki is similar, though so are naturally gifted," the Empress continued.

"So you're saying written notes aren't enough—you need to teach them?" Rosen asked.

"I never said I'd teach you. Do you know who I am? Giving you these pointers for direction is already generous. I am not your crew," the Empress snapped.

She quickly added, however, "But if Hathaway wants to guide her, I could stay a few days to teach her."

"What do you think?" Rosen asked Hathaway, happy either way but respecting her wishes.

"It's fine. It might even help improve, though it's a bit of trouble for you, Hancock," Hathaway said politely, aware this would be a one-sided effort from the Empress.

"Do you want anything in return?" Rosen preferred fair exchanges.

"No, just don't look at ," the Empress replied mischievously, clearly enjoying herself.

"Sister, we should return Kuja Island's supplies soon—so are urgent," Hathaway reminded her.

"Go ahead. Co back later to pick up. Contact if needed," the Empress said gently. Hathaway had long grown accustod to this.

"Understood," Sandasonia said. They couldn't all leave, needing so to stay behind to care for their sister.

"Sir Crocodile, our boss wants to speak with you," a well-dressed man approached during Rosen's al, bowing politely.

"Who is your boss?" Rosen asked, not dismissing him imdiately.

He was used to underground representatives seeking cooperation—assassinations, raids on Marine bases, arms deals. Such requests were nothing new.

"Our Lord Soldier Master," the man said proudly.

"I thought no one would co. Faster than expected. What does your boss want?" Rosen asked calmly. He naturally assud this was the work of the forr King of Andia.

"Our Lord wishes to establish an independent fortress in the Kingdom of Andia. If you agree, perhaps the Soldier Master need not co personally. Also, we are aware of your activities during the Andia Kingdom incident. We don't know your exact involvent, but we believe it can't withstand scrutiny," the man said, stopping Rosen mid-action.

Rosen showed no overreaction. While it was easy to observe, Andia had already stabilized; without absolute proof, no real loss would occur.

From his words, Rosen inferred this Soldier Master knew more than expected: "Let your boss speak for himself. I thought you were just profiteering. A fortress? Not happening. I'm no king. If you want it, take it by force—surely your strength is your advantage."

"Mr. Crocodile, I hope you consider carefully. Our boss is no third-rate thug," the man said angrily. Rosen paid little heed.

Understandably, investing in soone like Aberdeen, seemingly diocre, wasn't impressive—but such people were easier to control.

"Let him co in person. If you talk any more, you won't leave," Rosen said, eager to et the Soldier Master. If he wasn't as strong as rumored, he could deal with him once and for all.

"I will relay your ssage. Hope you won't regret it."

"Scram."
