Fighting just one or two of the Supernovas alone was boring, but if all of them attacked together, their abilities posed a real threat to Rosen.
Since each of them was eager for a fight, it was necessary to give them a lesson, putting the matter openly to prevent any underhanded moves. It was also an opportunity to gauge their strength.
Each of these Supernovas was destined for greatness. At so point, any of them could experience rapid growth, so Rosen wanted to see if, collectively, they could challenge him.
On a wide square along the street, Bonney faced Rosen, eager to strike, while Rosen seed sowhat distracted.
"After watching for so long, how about we all attack together? Don't worry, I'll go easy," Rosen said suddenly, his gaze sweeping over several nearby positions.
"Hey, what do you an? Didn't you agree to fight ?" Bonney protested.
"You all want to use as a BOSS to boost your fa, so I'm just asking for a small favor. Not too much, right?" Rosen said casually, shrugging.
"You want to fight all of us at once? Even as a forr Shichibukai, isn't that arrogant? Or is your crew just full of egotistical pirates?" Bege jumped down from a building, speaking gravely.
"Is this misfortune? But how did he find here? This should be a dead zone," Hawkins stepped out, noticing Rosen had clearly singled him out.
Since they were discovered and called out, there was no reason to hide.
"Fighting him alone may be aningless, but if we can defeat Crocodile with these pirates' help, that's a good thing," Drake thought, making up his mind.
As captain of the Marines' secret SWORD unit, Drake's potential was imnse. Being an undercover operative ant he couldn't act freely like ordinary pirates. Every move had to avoid suspicion. But if provoked, retaliation was justified.
"What do you an?" Kid, grappling with Urogue nearby, found himself disadvantaged. Defeating Urogue wasn't easy, and reckless action could backfire. But hearing Rosen's words, Kid felt insulted, abandoning Urogue and swinging toward Rosen.
"Yo, you're impressive, senior pirate. We'll play along. If you die, it's your fault, ah-pa-pa-pa…" Apo appeared, pounding his chest drum that swelled into a rounded shape, lightly tapping.
"Kid," Killer drew his swords, rushing toward Rosen. If Kid was hit like before, he could be fatally injured, as he was already hurt from fighting Urogue.
"I don't want the reputation of bullying rookies. If you want a fight, attack together. Just watching isn't fun. Or are you too scared?" Rosen said, cigar clenched, full of arrogance and provocation.
Rosen specialized in taunts. He addressed the observing Supernovas, while preparing for combat against those who had already attacked. Raising his left hand, dust and sand flew as he clashed fists with Kid, cracking the ground and sending him flying.
"Victory through dishonor, but if you insist, don't bla us," Drake, now in dinosaur form, charged at Rosen like a raging chariot, full of speed and power.
"Cheater! I'll turn you into a child and make you suffer!" Bonney's face darkened. No one liked being underestimated, so she joined the fray.
"Captain, they never said you couldn't fight…"
"Can you block my attack? Crocodile, Scraping. BOOM!" Apo slamd his chest, and Rosen's body exploded violently as if sound waves had reached their limit.
"What?!" Those attacking Rosen were shocked. The explosion was terrifying.
"This rookie still doesn't understand Haki?" Rosen remained unhard, a sand hole forming around him, while Drake lunged forward with a bloodthirsty bite.
"Fire!" Bege fired the castle's cannons, countless shells raining on Rosen, engulfing the other Supernovas. Any casualty didn't matter—they weren't comrades.
Bonney moved like lightning from behind, slapping Rosen's back.
"A Logia type," Rosen noted.
"Brave lot," he continued. Not using Haki, he sent a sandstorm toward Drake, slowing his charge. A normal person couldn't withstand this sandstorm.
Drake roared, stomping and breaking the ground to launch through the sandstorm toward Rosen.
"Earth Spike!"
A thick ground spike shot up, blasting Drake into the sky. Blood trickled from his mouth—Zoan types were tough, or he would have been pierced.
Before Rosen could attack again, Bonney struck. Rosen sensed she might understand a bit of Haki. Perhaps she had been in the Marines before.
"Desert Sunflower!" Rosen manipulated the terrain with his mind, collapsing the ground, allowing him faster attacks without direct contact.
"What?" Bonney was startled, the pit too large to use for leverage—she fell in.
"Black Prison Bullet." Rosen unleashed 33 sand grains, detonating Bege's cannonballs in midair.
"What? Everyone's attacking? Trying to run now wouldn't be wise…" Rosen still had energy to survey the battlefield. Hawkins seed reluctant to fight. That wouldn't do.
Rosen ford a sand spear, piercing Hawkins and killing a nearby pirate.
A straw figure erged from Hawkins' arm: "Lost a life? This is bad… Looks like this battle is inevitable, Exorcist Form!"
Hawkins, predicting defeat, tried to avoid the fight, but the future seed immutable. He beca a straw figure, wielding a long blade.
"You're mine!" Kid had already ford a massive steel arm, spiked with swords, so made of Seastone.
"Die." The colossal arm, like a small mountain, slamd down, crushing the ground.
"BOOM! BOOM!" Apo happily beat his drum chest, blowing a trumpet and playing piano-like keys with his arms.
"Scraping.Slash!"
"Scraping.Blast!"
Sound wave attacks devastated the area, shattering Kid's steel arm.
"Bastard, picking a fight?" Kid glared at Apo.
"Interesting. So many Devil Fruit users. Ti to get motivated," Rosen said, blocking the steel arm with sheer strength.
He punched upward, shattering the arm, while Killer appeared like a phantom, slashing with twin blades, only to be kicked away by Rosen.
"Got you! Haha, ti to turn into a child…" Bonney struck Rosen silently from the dust.
