Now reading: Chapter 130: The Horse Tamer from One Punch Man: "The hell!! Did I transmigrate as King?", a Action novel by Rene11.

Watching the two irritating "flies" finally buzz away, Horse King Heracles expelled a snort that stirred cyclones. It didn't give chase. Instead, its planet-sized eyes, brimming with ancient intelligence and seething fury, locked onto the approaching armored titan. Its instincts, honed over millennia of absolute dominion, scread a single warning: THIS IS A PREDATOR.

"Don't be tense," King's voice resonated, not through the airless void, but directly within the Horse King's colossal consciousness, a psychic whisper that was both calm and utterly commanding. "I rely wish to… establish a rapport."

As he spoke, the Emperor Armor's mountain-sized hand rose, palm open. Within it, using Heart Source Creation, King condensed a sphere of pure, hyper-compressed atmospheric essence—air refined to a potency that shimred like a captured nebula. The universal language of appeasent was sustenance, and for an air-feeding creature in the taxing throes of pregnancy, this was the equivalent of offering ambrosia to a god.

The sphere could replenish the mother's vast depletion, fortify the unborn foal, ensure robust vitality. It was a gift of profound consideration.

But a King does not accept handouts. To Heracles, the gesture wasn't generosity—it was condescension. A blasphemous undermining of its sovereign self-sufficiency. It glanced at the glowing sphere with what could only be described as cosmic disdain.

HOOOOOONG—!!!

Its reply was the Heracles Tornado Kick, a limb moving with the devastating, focused inertia of a small moon. The impact shattered the armored giant's offered hand into a storm of dissipating dark-gold motes.

"Splendid!" King's laugh bood, genuine excitent cutting through the violence. "A ruler's pride! Worthy of the title!"

A thought reassembled the shattered hand. The ti for diplomacy was over.

With a deceptive feint, the 20,000-ter armored form executed a move of impossible agility for its size—a nimble, twisting vault that ended with it straddling the Horse King's back, a continent-wide plateau now under its dominion.

HOO—?!

The Horse King froze. Its lake-sized eyes widened, reflecting pure, uncomprehending outrage. It, a sovereign of the land… mounted?

The montary stupefaction detonated into supernova rage.

HOOOOOONG—OOOOONG—!!!

A neigh that shattered the firmant for ten thousand miles. It wrenched its head, its city-sized maw yawning wide, and began to devour the sky. A vortex of apocalyptic suction ford, draining the Eighth Continent of every last molecule of air, concentrating it into a single, continent-piercing point of light within its throat—the King's Breath.

Even Toriko, kiloters away, was crushed to his knees by the gravitational pull of the gathering energy. "It's… the legends are true…" he gasped.

"Tsk. Getting testy?" King's voice was a study in casual control. The armored giant's left hand shot out, clamping the Horse King's massive jaw like an industrial vise and wrenching it skyward.

BOOOOOOM—!!!

The King's Breath, forcibly redirected, beca a blinding pillar of pure white annihilation that lanced into the heavens. It tore through the atmosphere, a celestial spear that pierced into the cosmic dark, vaporizing asteroids in its passing path. From orbit, it was a brilliant, terrifying needle of light stitched from the planet.

HOO! HOOOONG—!!!

Humiliated, restrained, its ultimate attack wasted, Horse King Heracles descended into primordial, earth-shaking frenzy. Its two-trillion-ton form beca a cataclysm in motion. It reared, sky-scraping forelegs pawing at vacuum. It bucked with the force of colliding continents. It spun, a gargantuan top whipping up hypercanes. It stomped, each impact sending fault lines spiderwebbing across the Eighth Continent's crust, seawater geysering through the fresh wounds, extinguishing ecosystems in monts.

"WHEEEEE—!!!" King's exhilarated shout echoed from the armor. He rode the cataclysm, an unshakeable monarch on a throne of tectonic fury. The "breaking" had begun. It was no longer a battle of destruction, but a contest of wills. He would match its every frantic surge with immovable stability, absorb its world-ending tantrums with infinite patience, until the only reality left for the beast to comprehend was the unwavering weight of the rider on its back.

The duel of sovereigns was not to the death, but to submission.

In the Demon Food World, nestled in the western reaches of the Eighth Continent, civilization was unraveling.

Architectural marvels of confectionery and spice crumbled under the seismic onslaught. Panicked fairies, their wings a blur of terror, shrieked as they fled, their philosophy of leisurely gourt appreciation shattered. A new, desperate creed took hold.

"The end! The end is here!"

"Eat! Eat everything! Don't die with a regret on your tongue!"

"I haven't tried the century-aged Glitterglaze Honey! GULP—!"

Fairies choked, eyes bulging, stuffing priceless ingredients into their mouths with manic haste.

Upon the Atmosphere Garden, the fairy elders watched the apocalypse unfold. The Upside-Down Immortal sat rigid in his floating wheelchair, his expression granite. Beside him, First Generation lk gripped the Amplification Stone so tightly it threatened to crack.

"It's Toriko and his companions…" the Upside-Down Immortal's voice was a low rumble of dread. "In their quest for AIR, they have stirred a slumbering cataclysm."

The recently roused Frog Immortal Mabbi clutched the fresh lump on his head, his voice whiny with fear. "I should have gone! Perhaps offering myself as a tribute to the Horse King would have sated its wrath!"

"You flatter your nutritional value," First Generation lk snapped, her tiny voice a scalpel of scorn.

"SILENCE, Mabbi!" The Upside-Down Immortal slamd his fist on the chair's arm, the sound a gong of authority. "Since ti immorial, our race has revered Gourt and upheld Righteousness! We do not buy peace with the flesh of our allies! That is not the Gourt Way!"

On Horse King Hill, the epicenter of the madness, King was a study in serene control. He sat the bucking, planet-shaking titan as if in a comfortable saddle, his posture unyielding. He even reached forward and gave the seething beast's neck a few condescending pats.

"Feisty. I admire that. Makes for a more exhilarating ride."

But his amusent had limits. His gaze swept over the Eighth Continent below, cracking and flooding like a broken vase. This couldn't continue. The collateral damage was approaching planetary.

"Alright, playti's over. Let's change venues."

With one hand fisted in the Horse King's galaxy-stream mane, King raised his other. He made a sharp, pulling gesture in the air.

SHINK!

A rein materialized—not of leather, but of braided, obsidian-dark Armant Haki and shimring crimson Conqueror's Haki. It snapped perfectly into place over the Horse King's muzzle, a bridle of pure, unassailable will.

Simultaneously, beneath the beast's eight stomping hooves, bricks of solidified golden Haoshoku Haki began to form, stacking rapidly into a colossal, glowing stairway to the heavens.

"HYAH!"

King gave the reins a definitive, commanding tug. At the sa mont, his legs, channeling the Emperor Engine's boundless power, clamped down on the Horse King's flanks like the jaws of a cosmic vise.

HOO—?! The Horse King's neigh was a symphony of shock, fury, and dawning, helpless comprehension. Control—absolute, inescapable control—was a sensation it had never known. It instinctively fought, muscles like continental plates straining to rebel.

But the reins of fate were no longer its own.

Under the dual assault of King's supre will and physical dominion, the Horse King's thousand resentnts and million rages were rendered impotent. With a ground-shaking tremor of final, reluctant effort, the mythical beast, the terrestrial sovereign, began to ascend. Step by thunderous step, it climbed the golden staircase into the sky, bearing its rider like a conqueror.

The fairies of the Demon Food World, from the lowliest chef to the ancient elders on the Atmosphere Garden, witnessed it. Every one of them froze, jaws slack, forgotten delicacies dropping from limp fingers.

For the sight was not one of battle, but of myth made manifest.

It was a god from a forgotten pantheon, astride a celestial steed of living legend, ascending to the firmant on a staircase of light, leaving a broken world behind. The air itself seed to still, holding its breath in awe and terror. The Gourt World had just gained a new, uncharted legend, and its first chapter was a tale of a king taming a king.
