Now reading: Chapter 30: Saitama’s power to break through the limiter! from One Punch Man: "The hell!! Did I transmigrate as King?", a Action novel by Rene11.

The helicopter landed on the rooftop of the Hero Association Z City branch building.

As soon as Kaito jumped off, he heard a familiar voice:

"Mr. King! Over here!"

Turning his head, he saw Genos standing atop the building, waving at him.

The blonde cyborg was wearing brand new battle armor today, with blue energy glowing at his joints—clearly ready for an all-out battle.

Beside Genos stood a short but spirited white-haired old man.

He wore casual clothes, his body hunched, hands clasped behind his back. Yet his seemingly leisurely posture radiated the steady weight of a mountain.

Silverfang—Bang!

Kaito's eyes lit up. With a few agile bounces, he leaped up to the rooftop.

His current agility stat of 19 already allowed him to perform such complex maneuvers.

"Mr. King, you've arrived just in ti," Genos said seriously. "According to calculations, the teorite will impact Z City's central district in 3 minutes. The shockwave will destroy all buildings within a 20-kiloter radius."

Bang stroked his white beard and added with a smile,

"I've already evacuated all the disciples from my dojo. I originally wanted to see if these old bones could still be of use, but I didn't expect even the 'Strongest on Earth,' the seventh-ranked S-Class hero, to be alerted."

Kaito keenly noticed that although Bang was smiling, his bright eyes were subtly evaluating him—with scrutiny, and… was that anticipation?

It seed this martial arts master was also curious about "King's" strength.

"Mr. Bang, you flatter ," Kaito nodded slightly, his tone sincere. "Your decades of protecting this city are truly admirable."

Bang blinked in surprise—then burst into laughter.

"Interesting! I didn't expect the legendary King to be so modest!"

Genos looked at the ti and anxiously interrupted,

"Gentlen, now is not the ti for pleasantries. tal Knight has already ascended to prepare for interception—we should act as well."

"No hurry."

Kaito looked up at the approaching teorite, a glint flashing in his eyes.

"Let's see tal Knight's thods first."

He rembered from the original tiline that Dr. Bofoy's missile interception was completely ineffective. But witnessing the black technology level of this world firsthand? That wasn't a bad idea.

As if sensing sothing, the three of them looked up at the sky simultaneously.

Dozens of oddly shaped missiles shot into the sky trailing fire. As they neared the teorite, they suddenly split into hundreds of smaller warheads, blasting the target from multiple angles.

Boom boom boom—!

The chain of explosions could be felt even from the rooftop.

Dazzling flas instantly engulfed the entire teorite, and both Genos and Bang breathed a sigh of relief.

However, Kaito frowned.

Sure enough, as the flas dissipated, a desperate scene erged—the teorite's surface had only minor dents. Its overall structure remained fully intact!

It was still plumting toward the city with unstoppable force.

Bang sighed and slowly took off his coat.

"Looks like we'll have to do this the old-fashioned way."

"Mr. Bang!" Genos imdiately objected. "Although your Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist is powerful, against a teorite of this scale… let handle it!"

"I still have to try," Bang said calmly, stretching his joints. Determination shone in his eyes.

"I've lived in this city most of my life. I can't just watch it be destroyed."

Kaito looked at the white-haired martial arts master, a sense of reverence rising in his heart.

To act, even knowing it's impossible—that is true heroism.

"Wait." Kaito suddenly spoke.

Bang and Genos both turned their heads toward him, surprised.

"Mr. King?" Genos looked puzzled. "Do you… have a way to deal with the teorite?"

Kaito smiled mysteriously.

"Let's give it a try."

Of course, he had no intention of confronting the teorite head-on—that was Saitama's job.

But now was a perfect opportunity to make an impression, and he couldn't afford to miss it. Just standing there posing would make him look ridiculous.

King's Summon—activate!

Kaito took a deep breath and softly uttered two words:

"Saitama."

Before the final syllable left his lips, a strange ripple shimred in the air.

In the next mont, a bald man in a yellow jumpsuit and white cape, drawn in an unusually simple art style, appeared out of thin air in front of the three, scratching his head with a bewildered expression.

"Huh? I was just putting on my shoes to go out…"

Saitama looked around, confused. When he saw Genos, his eyes lit up.

"Ah, Genos! Where is this?"

Genos was delighted for a mont—then his face changed dramatically.

"Teacher! Danger! Quickly, find shelter!"

He pointed anxiously at the teorite streaking closer in the sky. Evidently, he still didn't believe Saitama had the power to handle it.

Kaito, however, calmly patted Genos's shoulder, a mysterious smile on his lips.

"Relax, Genos."

He turned to Saitama, tone as casual as if talking about the weather:

"Brother Saitama, do a favor—get rid of that annoying teorite in the sky."

Saitama looked up. The teorite's long fiery tail cast an orange-red glow in his eyes.

He tilted his head. His expression gradually shifted from confusion to focus.

"Oh, that."

The next mont, Saitama's eyes sharpened. He slowly raised his right fist.

When he spoke, his voice was low—but filled with unstoppable force:

"Don't… fall on my—city!!!"

BOOM—!!!

The concrete rooftop beneath Saitama's feet shattered instantly.

Spiderweb-like cracks spread outward with him at the center.

Under Bang's stunned gaze, Saitama shot into the sky like a golden streak of light, moving so fast that a trail of sonic boom clouds marked his path.

"This… this speed?!"

Bang's white beard trembled in the shockwave. Eyes wide, he watched the figure soaring toward the heavens, utterly speechless.

Genos's chanical pupils contracted sharply, his high-speed cara barely managing to capture Saitama's movent.

"Teacher, he…"

Although Kaito had ntally prepared himself, witnessing this mont firsthand still sent a suffocating shock through his chest.

Is this… the power of breaking the limiter?

This is… true invincibility!

In the blink of an eye, Saitama had arrived directly beneath the descending teorite.

Against the backdrop of the massive, flaming mass, his figure was as insignificant as a speck of dust.

But it was precisely this "speck" that, with an overwhelming aura, threw a single, plain, unadorned punch—

"Bang!!!!!"

A deafening explosion erupted thousands of ters high.

A colossal spherical shockwave spread outward, clearing away the clouds within a radius of several kiloters.

The teorite—over 200 ters in diater—shattered like fragile glass the instant it touched Saitama's fist!

Countless burning fragnts broke apart and scattered across the sky, their fiery trails carving brilliant arcs across the twilight.

A rain of fla—magnificent, terrifying—fell like a divine teor shower.

"Broken… broken?!"

Bang's jaw nearly hit the ground.

The seasoned martial arts master, who had faced countless powerful opponents, now stood frozen, wide-eyed, like a child witnessing magic for the first ti.

His proud Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist felt like child's play in the presence of such overwhelming strength.

Genos trembled, eyes sparkling with reverence and excitent.

"Teacher! So strong! Is this… is this Teacher's true power?!"

But Kaito didn't let himself be swept away by the awe of the mont.

His eyes narrowed.

He had already noticed—although the teorite had been obliterated, the resulting fragnts, now scattered across the sky like burning shrapnel, still posed a great threat.

They were smaller, yes—but still large enough to cause widespread damage across the city.

And worse… he knew what ca next.

According to the original tiline…

The citizens—those who had lost hos, cars, and lives they built with years of loans and savings—

—would place all the bla on Saitama.

The man who had just saved them.
