After leaving [Myriad Race City], Leon and Emilia did not waste a single second lingering near its gates, and instead imdiately rushed forward across the vast terrain of the [Lower Domain].

Their figures cutting through the open plains with speed that ordinary players would have struggled to even perceive, let alone match.

As the wind swept past them and the distant landscape blurred into streaks of green and gray.

"Do you actually know where the [Farlands] are?" Emilia asked after a while, her voice calm but carrying a trace of curiosity, "It sounds strange."

Leon could not deny that what she said made perfect sense, because the na itself was vague.

"I don’t know the exact location," he admitted honestly, his eyes fixed on the horizon ahead of them, "but I have an idea."

The na [Farlands] did not sound like sothing near civilization, instead, it sounded deep in the [Lower Domain].

Usually, no player ever attempted to discover what lay at the very limits of the [Lower Domain].

Anyone who tried to cross the boundary was rcilessly killed by the [Shadow Demons], mysterious beings that road the outermost regions.

They are invincible entities that even the current Leon could not defeat, no matter how confident he felt in his growth.

Still, this was the only logical place he could think of.

If sothing was called the Farlands, then it would likely be placed as far from safety as possible.

Fwoosh!

The two of them moved quickly, soon passing through the territory of the [Elven Stronghold] once more.

But... Emilia suddenly slowed down.

"...Hm."

Leon noticed imdiately and followed her gaze toward the entrance of the stronghold.

"So," he said with a faint grin, "you want to take your revenge now? Go ahead. It would save us trouble in the future."

He was not joking.

If the ones who had betrayed Emilia were allowed to grow stronger over ti, they could beco a serious issue later on.

Especially if they sided with the gods or aligned themselves with larger factions in the [Higher Domain].

And Leon had no intention of allowing future threats to accumulate unchecked.

He believed firmly in eliminating obstacles before they beca disasters.

Emilia understood that principle as well, especially when it ca to those who had betrayed her.

"I’ll ask," she said after a mont.

They called out toward the entrance of the [Elven Stronghold], and after about a minute, the elf leader appeared before them, his expression already tinged with mild annoyance.

"We are preparing for the [Monster Tide]," he groaned, clearly irritated by the interruption. "I would appreciate it if you did not disturb us, but I suppose I can make an exception."

Leon nodded casually, not particularly concerned with the elf’s mood as long as he answered the question.

Emilia stepped forward and directly asked about the companions who had betrayed her, ntioning their nas clearly.

The elf leader blinked.

"Huh?" he said, raising his eyebrows. "I’m sorry, but we do not use our real nas within the stronghold."

And in that mont, Emilia realized the flaw in her approach.

She knew their nas. But in the [Lower Domain], every player could choose an ID upon entry.

If those players had chosen to refer to each other only by their IDs inside the stronghold, then their real-world nas would be aningless here.

There would be no way to track them.

Leon let out a quiet sigh, "I overlooked this as well."

Unlike Emilia, he knew the IDs and appearances of those who had caused chaos in the future.

Which made tracking them significantly easier, but in this case, without knowing their IDs, searching would be be difficult.

Of course, Emilia could enter the stronghold and attempt to investigate manually, but that would take ti.

And also...

"There’s a chance they aren’t here anymore," Emilia said, shaking her head lightly. "It’s been weeks. They might already be in the [Higher Domain]."

Leon nodded, "Then we move on."

Emilia’s expression dimd slightly, though she quickly forced a faint smile when she noticed him looking at her.

Because even if she understood logically that this was not the right ti, emotionally it still stung.

She did not know how to put her thoughts into words. So Leon did it for her.

"No matter who betrayed us, whether in the past or in the future, we will find them," he said calmly but firmly. "And we will make them regret it."

He then placed his hand gently on her golden hair, his tone softening slightly.

"But to deal with them properly, we need more strength."

Emilia understood imdiately.

This was not a dismissal of her feelings. It was a reminder.

A reminder that revenge required power, and that small setbacks ant nothing compared to long-term growth.

Leon knew better than anyone that the enemies waiting in the future were not ordinary players, but terrifying beings whose power dwarfed almost everything in the [Lower Domain].

She could not afford to slow down.

"How emotional," the elf leader comnted sarcastically before turning away. "I’m leaving."

Fwoosh!

He disappeared back into the [Elven Stronghold], likely to continue preparing for the incoming [Monster Tide], leaving Leon and Emilia alone once more.

"Oh well," Leon said, withdrawing his hand from her hair. "Let’s continue."

Emilia nodded, her earlier disappointnt already fading into determination.

They resud their sprint, crossing vast stretches of terrain rapidly, reaching the [Level 50 Zone] in under ten minutes before arriving near the [Star Magic Cave].

This was the point where most players would normally stop to grind or prepare for advancent.

But Leon did not slow down. They kept moving.

They ignored every monster that appeared along the way, following Leon’s strict instruction not to kill anything unless absolutely necessary.

After all, if they reached level 50, they would be forced into the system prompt asking whether they wished to proceed to the third assessnt.

If they chose [No], they would be locked out for two weeks.

Well, Leon couldn’t actually choose [No] anyway since his [Celestial]’s passive forced him to move forward.

’aning that I had to do everything I need to do before reaching level 50.’

Fwoosh!

A Level 50 monster lunged at them from the side, only to miss completely as Leon shifted slightly without breaking stride.

A [Mage of Dark] appeared in the distance and fired a beam of concentrated darkness directly at them.

The beam struck Leon’s body, and nothing happened.

His [Darkness Barrier] absorbed it effortlessly.

As for Emilia, harming her at this stage would require absurd effort.

"You say that every ti," Emilia sighed lightly as they ran. "But there’s always sothing stronger."

"...True," Leon admitted with a shrug. "But that’s because we keep finding crazier places."

After several more minutes, the environnt began to change.

The monsters thinned out. The air grew heavier.

And eventually, they reached a place where almost no creatures road at all.

Before them stood a massive wall of darkness, stretching upward and outward as if it were the very edge of reality itself.

"That’s it," Leon said, pointing forward. "You can step inside, but if you do, the [Shadow Demons] will attack imdiately. No one has ever killed even one. Most people believe they’re invincible."

"But that ans they’re guarding sothing," Emilia said, her eyes gleaming faintly. "I can feel it."

Leon nodded. If such entities existed here, it was not random.

They were protecting sothing. And that sothing had to be important.

Possibly, the [Farlands]. He took a deep breath.

The darkness ahead seed almost alive, shifting faintly like a curtain made of shadow.

Then he stepped forward.

Ding!

[You are about to enter the "Danger Zone" of the "Lower Domain."]

[Please go back. You WILL die if you step inside. The demons will slaughter you.]

Even Leon felt a chill crawl down his spine as he sensed the oppressive aura leaking from beyond the threshold.

It felt suffocating. But he did not step back.

Without hesitation, Leon and Emilia crossed into the [Danger Zone].

And the darkness swallowed them.
