Powerful Fireball! Storm of Lightning! Blood Beam!

Explosions erupted across the battlefield as Leon unleashed spell after spell into the crowd of players.

Hundreds of them had been fighting each other only monts before, but the instant Leon’s magic rained down upon them, the battlefield turned into pure chaos.

Players fell one after another.

Leon watched the destruction unfold with calm eyes as his spells wiped out entire groups at once.

’I bet Emilia would have enjoyed this,’ he thought while launching another Fireball that exploded among a cluster of fighters.

Several players vanished from the event instantly.

’Her [Spectral Flas] and [Divine Beam] would work perfectly in a place like this.’

Emilia’s abilities were built for large-scale destruction, especially with her high [Spirit].

In a chaotic fight like this one, she could easily wipe out dozens of enemies with a single attack.

But while Leon dominated the field with magic, Celeste was doing sothing very different.

"TAKE THIS!"

She shouted loudly as she thrust her spear forward.

Stab!

One player barely managed to raise his shield before the spear pierced straight through it and struck his chest.

Before his body could even fall—

Celeste twisted her spear and continued her movent into another attack.

Slash!

She spun once, sweeping the spear across several players who had tried to surround her.

Two of them collapsed instantly.

Even in close combat, none of the players could match her speed or precision.

Leon glanced toward her briefly while continuing to fight.

’I wonder where she even learned to use a spear like that.’

Her movents were incredibly smooth. Every strike flowed perfectly into the next.

Every step placed her in the best possible position to continue attacking.

It was obvious that Celeste had spent a lot of ti mastering the weapon.

And that wasn’t even considering her skill.

She possessed the [Spearmanship] skill, which greatly enhanced her ability with a spear.

The skill boosted her attack power, accuracy, and control whenever she used that weapon.

The result was obvious: anyone who tried to fight her up close was quickly overwheld.

Watching her fight like that made Leon grin slightly.

’I should probably use my sword a bit too.’

For the past several minutes, he had mostly relied on his spells.

Which was effective, but also a bit boring.

’Oh well...’ A small grin spread across his face, ’Let’s go.’

Fwoosh!

Leon suddenly dashed forward at high speed.

One player had just appeared behind Celeste, raising his sword in an attempt to strike her while she was busy fighting others.

He never got the chance.

Slash!

Leon’s blade flashed once. The player’s body split apart instantly.

Celeste glanced back briefly.

"Thanks," she said with a small smile. "Though I did see him."

"Heh."

With the two of them now fighting together, the already chaotic battlefield turned into sothing even worse.

And after only a few minutes... Sothing unexpected happened.

"HOLD ON!"

A loud voice suddenly echoed across the battlefield.

A player with the ID CarLover58 stepped forward.

He looked to be in his mid-twenties and held two large blades in his hands.

He glanced at the surrounding players before shouting again.

"Let’s focus on eliminating these two first!"

The mont he said that... The fighting stopped.

One by one, the players turned their heads toward Leon and Celeste.

Hostile gazes filled the air. Hundreds of players surrounded them.

Leon slowly looked around.

"Damn," he muttered. "I think we got noticed."

Celeste sighed, "You think...?"

But despite her words, she looked slightly amused.

These players now had suddenly ford one massive alliance.

Their common enemy had beco obvious: Leon and Celeste.

"Kill them!" CarLover58 shouted loudly. "Then we can continue fighting each other!"

The surrounding players hesitated for a mont.

But they all understood the situation.

The power Leon and Celeste had shown monts earlier was simply overwhelming.

If they didn’t eliminate them first... None of them would stand a chance.

CarLover58 and several other high-level players stepped forward first.

Fwoosh!

They rushed toward Leon and Celeste with weapons drawn.

They planned to overwhelm them with numbers. But Leon didn’t move.

Dozens of players rushed toward him. And yet... He simply watched them calmly.

Compared to the battles he had experienced in his previous life... This felt almost pathetic.

When he had fought the servants of the [God of Eternity], the battlefield had been far more terrifying.

Still... Leon knew he couldn’t keep comparing everything to the past.

Many of the players around looked confident.

After all, CarLover58 himself was quite strong.

---

[ID: CarLover58]

[Level: 73]

[Talent: ???]

[Skills: ???]

[Combat Power: ???]

---

CarLover58 laughed loudly as he approached.

"My [Combat Power] is above 350,000!" he shouted proudly. "You’re finished!"

Several other strong players followed behind him. Most of them were above level 70.

Under normal circumstances, a group like this would dominate the battlefield.

CarLover58 himself belonged to the human race and had clearly invested heavily in combat abilities. He truly was strong.

But unfortunately for him... He was facing Leon.

SLASH!

Leon’s sword moved faster than anyone could follow.

The blade flashed once. CarLover58’s twin swords shattered instantly.

The [Blood Heart Blessing] of Leon’s [Power Sword] doubled his [Strength] after all.

The mont their weapons collided, the difference in strength was obvious.

CarLover58’s eyes widened.

Then—

His head separated from his body.

The kill happened so quickly that many players didn’t even realize what had happened at first.

CarLover58’s body collapsed to the ground. And Leon had already moved on.

The rest of the charging players were only seconds away now.

Leon raised his sword again.

Crescent Slash!

He gathered power into the blade for a brief mont before swinging forward.

Fwoosh!

A massive crescent-shaped wave of energy shot forward.

Several players attempted to block the attack.

So raised shields. Others tried using defensive skills.

None of it worked. The crescent slash tore straight through them.

Bodies split apart. Armor shattered.

Several players were cut in half instantly.

Leon watched the result with mild curiosity.

’Interesting... I guess the [Power Sword]’s blessing also affects attacks like this.’

Technically, [Crescent Slash] was a ranged ability. But the attack still originated from his sword.

Which ant the blessing of the weapon enhanced its power as well. That was good to know.

anwhile, the situation on Celeste’s side was just as violent.

Torrent of Flas!

Pyra unleashed her only offensive ability once again.

A massive pillar of flas erupted from the ground.

Players caught in the attack scread as the fire engulfed them.

So players tried attacking Pyra directly after seeing her ability.

But Celeste imdiately moved to defend her.

Ember Ball!

Celeste raised one hand. A glowing sphere of flas ford instantly.

The fire ca directly from the [Phoenix Ember] connected to her talent.

She threw the sphere into a nearby group of players.

Boom!

The explosion sent several players flying across the battlefield.

And she wasn’t finished yet.

Fla Clone! Fwoosh!

A second Celeste suddenly appeared beside her.

The copy looked exactly like her, but its entire body was made of fire.

"Kill them," Celeste ordered calmly.

The clone imdiately rushed forward. Leon watched the ability while continuing to fight.

This was actually the first ti he had seen most of Celeste’s abilities in action.

The flaming clone dashed toward a group of players and began attacking with its spear.

Stab! Slash! Kick!

Several players were struck down quickly.

At the sa ti, Leon raised his staff. And he activated another ability: [Advanced Necromancy].

Dark energy spread across the ground.

Then—

Crack! Crack!

Bones burst out of the earth. Twenty-five skeletons slowly rose from the ground.

Fifteen of them were [Undead Skeletons]. The other ten were [Undead Mage].

The skeleton warriors carried rusted swords in their hands.

The undead mages wore small robes and held staffs.

Leon observed them with satisfaction.

’Nice.’

His current [Combat Power] had reached around 420,000.

Because of that, each of his summoned skeletons possessed roughly 250,000 Combat Power.

That ant many of them were stronger than the players trying to fight them.

’This is the real power of necromancy,’ Leon thought, ’As long as I grow stronger... so do my summons.’

He paid little attention to the normal skeletons.

Instead, he focused on the [Undead Mage] as they were the new addition.

Several players rushed toward them, hoping to destroy the weaker-looking summons.

The skeleton mages lifted their staffs.

Fireball!

Ten blazing fireballs shot through the air simultaneously.

Boom!

Explosions erupted across the battlefield. Players were blasted apart instantly.

Leon nodded in satisfaction.

’Just like I expected.’

The undead mages were extrely effective.

And with that... The battle completely collapsed.

What had started as a massive alliance quickly turned into pure panic.

Leon, Celeste and their summons.

Together, they carved through the battlefield like a storm.

Players fell one after another.

Eventually, many of them realized the truth: they had no chance.

Several players began running away. But escape was impossible.

Slash!

The [Undead Skeletons] chased down anyone attempting to flee.

Their movents were relentless and efficient.

One by one, the remaining players were hunted down.

The massacre continued for nearly twenty minutes.

Until finally... Silence returned to the battlefield.

Every single player around them had disappeared.

Celeste exhaled slowly.

"We must have killed at least a thousand players," she said with a small grin. "Feels... good."

Leon glanced at the event counter.

[Players Left: 5,639]

He nodded, "Not much left now."

He opened the ranking window briefly.

His position remained unchanged: first place.

And the gap between him and the others had grown even larger.

Since the kills made by his skeletons also counted toward his score, his point total had increased rapidly during the battle.

Leon closed the window. A small smile appeared on his face.

It seed like this event... Was going far smoother than he had originally expected.
