As soon as the massive [God-Rank] panel appeared above him, towering over everything else in the chamber with an overwhelming presence that forced nearly every player to look up in shock or disbelief, Leon didn’t waste even a single second standing still or reacting to it like the others would have.
Instead, his expression sharpened instantly, his mind moving faster than ever as he realized exactly what was about to happen next.
Fwoosh!
In one smooth motion, Leon opened his [Storage Space], his hand moving with precision as he pulled out the two most important items he had prepared beforehand: the [ga Spirit Enhancent (A-Level)] and the [Super Spirit Enhancent (B-Level)] sub-talent scrolls.
There was no hesitation, no second thought, no explanation.
"Here," Leon said quickly, his voice firm and urgent as he threw the two scrolls directly toward Celeste and Emilia without even looking back to check if they would catch them.
Both of them reacted instinctively, their hands moving forward almost at the sa ti as they caught the scrolls mid-air.
Their expressions imdiately shifted from surprise to confusion as they looked down at what they had just received.
They could tell instantly that these were powerful.
The energy coming from the scrolls alone was enough to indicate their rarity and importance, and the fact that Leon was handing them over so suddenly only made it more confusing.
"Why are you giving it to us in such a hurry—"
They didn’t even get the chance to finish their sentence.
BOOM!
A massive beam of light descended from above without warning, crashing down directly onto Leon’s body and enveloping him completely in a blinding glow that erased his figure from sight almost instantly.
The force behind it wasn’t sothing that could be resisted. It was absolute.
Ding!
[Celestial will now go through the God-Rank assessnt.]
The mont the panel appeared, both Celeste and Emilia froze for a brief second as everything suddenly made sense.
"Oh."
"What the hell’s a [God-Rank] assessnt?!"
Once a player received the [God-Rank] assessnt, the system would imdiately force them into the assessnt without giving them even a mont to breathe.
That was why Leon had acted the way he did.
That was why he had thrown the scrolls without explanation.
Those few seconds had been the only opportunity he had.
After all, the last ti Leon had been dragged into a [God-Rank] assessnt, back in the [Advanced Divine Temple], Celeste and Emilia hadn’t even been with him, as one had been in [Higher Domain #1] while the other had been dealing with her own assessnt, completely unaware of what was happening.
But this ti was different. This ti, they were here.
And so, in the brief instant he had before being taken away, Leon had made sure to leave them with sothing that could increase their chances of success.
Because even if he wasn’t there with them, they still had to survive.
"Complete your assessnt!" Leon shouted as his body began to dissolve into particles of light, his voice echoing through the chamber as the beam continued to pull him upward, "No matter what happens, you need to win!"
His surroundings twisted violently as space itself seed to bend and distort around him, the familiar sensation of teleportation taking over as his vision began to blur.
Just before he was fully taken away, Leon managed to catch one last glimpse of the two.
Both Celeste and Emilia were looking straight at him, their expressions filled with determination.
"Good luck!" Emilia called out, raising her hand slightly as if to send him off.
"Make sure you clear it!" Celeste added, her voice firm as she nodded, her grip tightening around her spear.
"Kyu~!"
At the very last mont, Pyra popped out from Celeste’s chest, its small wings flapping rapidly as it chirped loudly, as if it didn’t want to be left out of the farewell.
Seeing that, Leon couldn’t help but smile.
Even in a situation like this, even with everything happening so fast, that small mont grounded him.
’Let’s do this,’ he thought, his resolve hardening as the light completely swallowed him.
And then, everything went silent.
A few seconds later, Leon felt his body solidify again, the sensation of being torn apart and reassembled finally fading as his feet touched the ground once more.
He imdiately looked up. He was sowhere else.
[Welco to the God-Rank assessnt, Celestial.]
[Though, you have already participated in one before, so there is no reason to dwell on this.]
Leon stared at the panel for a brief mont, his eyes narrowing slightly as he processed the ssage, before shifting his attention to his surroundings, his sword and staff already appearing in his hands as his instincts kicked in.
’Last assessnt before the [Eternal Battlefield],’ Leon thought grimly, his grip tightening slightly around his weapons, ’And it’s another [God-Rank] one.’
This would be sothing that pushed him to his absolute limit.
Sothing that Leon felt like bordered on impossible.
But at the sa ti, just like the first ti he had gone through a [God-Rank] assessnt, it also ant that the rewards waiting at the end would be beyond anything a normal assessnt could offer.
And considering that this was the final divine temple, the hardest one of them all, the stakes had never been higher.
Leon quickly took in his surroundings.
Just like before, he stood on a small stone platform floating in a vast, endless void, with nothing but darkness stretching infinitely in every direction.
And right in front of him, a massive, ruined gate stood silently.
It radiated an overwhelming aura, one that felt ancient and heavy, as if it carried the weight of sothing far beyond mortal understanding.
Above it, a single word was engraved: "God."
Leon stared at it for a mont.
This was the sa gate he had encountered in his first God-Rank assessnt, except this ti in poor shape.
It was one hidden to normal players, that led to the true [God-Rank] assessnt.
Just like last ti, there was nothing to do but wait.
And so, Leon stood still, his eyes fixed forward as he waited for the system to give him his objective.
A few seconds passed.
Then—
Ding!
[The gods are gazing at you, they can see what you are doing, they await for your arrival.]
