’At least this still works,’ Leon nodded faintly, a small grin appearing for a mont as he looked at the rewards.

Even in a place like this, his talent hadn’t failed him. That alone was reassuring.

Still, none of the equipnt was useful to him, not when compared to what he already had.

In fact, he didn’t even bother trying to consu the essences now, as he felt like Alicar would question it.

"We’re heading up," Alicar suddenly said, stopping in place as he looked toward the rooftops above them, "The others are further ahead, and it’s faster this way."

Leon followed his gaze. Then nodded.

Fwoosh!

Without any warning, Alicar jumped.

His body shot upward at an insane speed, and in less than a fraction of a second, he was already standing on top of one of the ruined buildings ahead, looking down at Leon.

Leon was about to follow but—

Creak...

The sound ca again. He didn’t even need to turn to know what it was. Another group of [Forsaken Knights].

’...Seriously?’ Leon groaned internally, his expression tightening slightly as he glanced at them.

They were everywhere. And this ti, Alicar didn’t move. He simply stood there, watching.

"Need help?" he asked casually, tilting his head slightly, "I an... you did get a [God-Rank] assessnt, so you should be able to handle this, right?"

Leon didn’t reply. Instead, he moved.

The mont the knights charged forward, Leon dashed toward the nearest building, his movents sharp and precise as he avoided one swing, sidestepped another, and blocked a third without losing montum.

Fwoosh!

He jumped, grabbing onto a broken ledge before pulling himself upward and running along the wall with speed, his body moving smoothly as he climbed.

In just a second, he reached the top. Landing beside Alicar.

"Good," the elf nodded with a satisfied expression, "We’re close to them."

Leon didn’t answer. He simply looked at him for a brief mont, his gaze blank, unreadable.

Then he turned forward again. And followed.

’...What the hell is going on in the [Forsaken City].’

Fwoosh!

At so point, Alicar clearly got tired of moving at a steady pace and suddenly sped up, his figure turning into a blur as he rushed forward across the rooftops with a level of speed that felt almost effortless on his part.

Leon didn’t hesitate for even a mont and imdiately followed behind him, pushing his body forward as he jumped from one rooftop to another.

His movents were sharp and controlled as he kept up with Alicar without falling behind, even though he could clearly tell that the elf wasn’t using anywhere near his full speed.

The ruined city stretched endlessly beneath them as they moved, broken streets and collapsed structures passing below in a constant blur, while the dark sky above remained unchanged.

Even while moving this fast, Leon didn’t let his guard down for even a second, his senses fully active as he observed everything around him carefully.

Because after everything he had seen so far, he knew better than to assu that anything in this place would give him ti to react.

After a few minutes of rushing forward like this, crossing multiple rooftops and passing over countless streets, Leon suddenly noticed sothing in the distance, his eyes narrowing slightly as he focused on the figures standing ahead of them.

There were three of them, all positioned atop a rooftop not too far away, and even from this distance, their presence was impossible to ignore.

’So these are the others Alicar ntioned,’ Leon thought as his expression turned more serious, his gaze locking onto them while he continued moving forward.

What struck him imdiately wasn’t just the fact that there were others here, but the overwhelming aura each of them carried.

Sothing he could feel even without getting close, as if their presence alone was enough to pressure everything around them.

It didn’t take long for Leon to understand sothing very simple and very important, which was that every single one of them was stronger than him, and not by a small margin either.

He could already tell that fighting any one of them head-on would end badly.

That realization didn’t make him panic, but it did make him more cautious, as it only reinforced the idea that this place was far more dangerous than he had initially thought.

And more importantly, that the people stuck here were not ordinary players anymore.

As they got closer, Alicar slowed down slightly, and a mont later, both of them landed on the rooftop where the three figures were waiting, Leon’s eyes imdiately shifting toward them as he finally got a proper look.

The first one was a massive figure standing there while casually flexing his muscles, his presence alone making it clear that he was soone who relied heavily on raw physical strength.

He was a demon race player, standing at around two and a half ters tall, with a powerful and muscular build.

His crimson and dark skin gave him an imposing appearance, while his upper body remained bare, revealing a physique that looked almost absurd in terms of strength.

He wore a pair of pants marked with glowing crimson cracks, and on his head were two horns, one dark and the other radiating a faint crimson and golden glow.

"That’s Godrick," Alicar said with a small smile, glancing at Leon briefly, "I’d recomnd not making him angry if you can avoid it."

"Alright," Leon replied calmly, showing no particular reaction to the warning.

"So a new one actually showed up," Godrick laughed loudly as his gaze fell on Leon, his tone filled with amusent and a hint of disdain, "He looks pretty weak, won’t be of any help."

Leon didn’t bother responding to that and instead shifted his attention toward the second figure, completely ignoring the demon’s comnt.
