The mont those words left the [Undead King]’s mouth, the atmosphere inside the chamber changed completely.
He lifted his scepter high, and a chilling aura poured out from his body, spreading across the stone floor like a living thing.
The torches flickered violently, their flas shrinking as death-aspected mana flooded the room.
Basic Necromancy!
The Undead King didn’t hesitate. Along with his talent, he activated a skill engraved deep into his existence.
Undead Knight Summon!
Fwoosh!
The ground trembled.
Dark cracks spread across the floor in front of the Undead King, and thick waves of black mist erupted upward. For several seconds, nothing could be seen except swirling death energy.
Then—
Five figures slowly erged.
Bone hands clawed their way out of the ground, followed by armored legs, torsos, and finally helted heads. Each one rose in complete silence, standing in perfect formation before their king.

The Undead Knights stood roughly 1.8 ters tall, clad head to toe in obsidian-black armor etched with faint green runes. Each of them wielded a heavy sword that pulsed with death energy.
Their presence alone was oppressive.
Behind them, the Undead King himself radiated even more pressure.
Leon imdiately understood the situation.
In raw numbers, both the knights and their king were stronger than him.
But that didn’t matter. Leon moved.
He rushed forward without hesitation, his boots scraping against the stone floor as he closed the distance.
"Foolish," the Undead King said coldly. "Protect , knights. We shall erase this player."
At his command, the Undead Knights shifted instantly.
They spread out, forming a defensive formation in front of the king. Swords were lifted, blades angled toward Leon, their movents perfectly synchronized.
Powerful Fireball! Lightning Strike!
Leon attacked first.
A blazing fireball roared through the air, followed imdiately by a bolt of lightning crashing down from above. The spells collided with the front line of knights in rapid succession.
Boom! Crack!
But instead of being blown apart—
The knights rely slid back a step.
Their armor glowed faintly, absorbing most of the impact.
Leon’s eyes narrowed.
"Their armor has magic resistance," he said calmly. "Be careful."
Divine Beam!
Emilia stepped forward and fired her holy beam. The light washed over all five knights, striking them directly.
Yet just as Leon warned, it only left shallow scorch marks across their armor.
"Ah shit," Emilia muttered. "I seriously need more skills."
"We’ll get them soon enough," Leon replied without looking back. "Just buff ."
To Leon, Emilia was already one of the best supports he had ever encountered—possibly in the entirety of [Eternal Ascension].
Not just because she had buffs, but because of what she was. Her [Support Saint] title was absurd.
Her constitution was multiplied by five, making her far more durable than any player at her level. On top of that, her support-type spells were strengthened by her unique trait.
Leon still needed to ask her about the full passive effects of her [Elven Saintess] talent. That knowledge would determine their future strategy.
But for now, this was enough.
Vision Enhancent!
The world sharpened around Leon. Colors beca clearer, movents slower, and weak points more visible.

He dashed toward the nearest Undead Knight and swung his sword.
Clang!
The knight blocked, its blade eting Leon’s with a heavy tallic impact. Sparks flew as the two forces collided.
At the sa mont—
The other four knights moved.
They surrounded Leon from all sides, swords rising in unison. Even the Undead King raised his scepter, green flas gathering at its tip.
Spectral Flas!
A wave of ghostly fire surged forward, rushing toward Leon along with the knights’ blades.
"Leon!" Emilia shouted, panic creeping into her voice.
She tried to move, but she knew it.
There was nothing she could do right now.
Against opponents with higher combat power and equipnt designed to counter magic, reaction ti was everything.
In Leon’s past life, monts like this happened constantly.
If you couldn’t adapt fast enough, death was imdiate.
That was why items like [Resurrection Stones] were priceless. They allowed a single mistake, just one, to not be the end.
But just as the attacks were about to land—

[Celestial’s Might has activated.]
Leon’s eyes turned silvery-white.
A terrifying pressure exploded outward from his body, sweeping across the entire chamber like a divine storm.
"What?!"
Every undead froze.
Their bodies began trembling uncontrollably, as if forced to kneel before sothing far above them.

The change was instant. The oppressive pressure vanished, replaced by instability.

Leon blocked the incoming blades with ease now, his sword moving smoothly as he parried and countered.
Slash!
One Undead Knight’s armor split open as Leon’s blade cut cleanly through its torso. The knight collapsed, its body dissolving into black mist.
Spectral Flas!
The Undead King refused to retreat. He slamd his scepter into the ground, spreading spectral fire across the chamber floor.
Green flas surged outward, consuming everything in their path.
Leon sidestepped effortlessly.
Powerful Fireball!
He retaliated instantly, launching his fireball straight at the Undead King.
Boom!
The explosion engulfed the king’s upper body.
"Gah—"
With his combat power reduced, his constitution had fallen as well. The damage was far greater than before.
Slash!
Leon didn’t give him ti to recover. He moved like a blur, cutting down another Undead Knight.
Divine Beam!
Emilia seized the opening and fired her beam, piercing straight through a knight’s chest. It froze for a mont before collapsing.
The remaining knights fell one by one.
So to Leon’s blade. One to Emilia’s spell.
In less than a minute—
Only the Undead King remained.
The green flas in his eyes flared violently as he stared at Leon.
"A power such as this..." he said coldly. "It should not exist here. You must be the last one."
"Deal with it," Leon grinned. "I’m ending this."
"So be it."
The Undead King struck his scepter against the ground again. Dark flas spread across the floor in a complex pattern.
"I shall eliminate you before you beco a threat."
He lifted his staff, necromantic energy surging, preparing to summon more undead—
Powerful Fireball!
Leon didn’t let him finish.
The fireball slamd into the Undead King’s chest, completely disrupting the spell.
Before the king could recover—
Slash!
Leon stepped in and decapitated him cleanly.
The head rolled across the stone floor, the green flas fading instantly. Silence.
Ding!

Leon exhaled slowly.
Surprisingly, it wasn’t enough to level him up—but he was close.
"Nice!" Emilia said brightly. "But... are we sure we got the king’s heart for the quest?"
Leon didn’t answer right away. Instead, he opened his [Storage Space].
Normally, even after defeating the Undead King, there was only a one-in-three chance to obtain the [Undead King Heart].
Most players had to clear the dungeon multiple tis.
But for Leon, the item was already there.

"Hah," Leon said, showing it to Emilia. "I got it."
Her eyes lit up imdiately.
"Yes!"
But Leon wasn’t done.
He continued scrolling through his storage, his grin slowly widening as he checked the rest of the items he had obtained.
