Now reading: Chapter 75: Emilia’s Talent, Grinding Before the Second Asse from Online Game: I Have A 100% Drop Rate, a Fantasy novel by ChampionDreamer.

Once Emilia finally put the pieces together and correctly guessed what his real talent was, Leon didn’t hesitate any longer.

With a simple thought, he opened his talent panel and sent it directly to her.

She froze for a mont as the translucent screen appeared before her eyes.

Her gaze moved across it slowly, carefully, reading every single line. She didn’t gasp, didn’t shout, didn’t even smile too widely.

Emilia was smart enough to understand imdiately how important this was, and how dangerous it would be if others found out.

After a few seconds, she nodded, keeping her voice low.

"Holy hell," she muttered. "That thing is... absurdly powerful."

Leon nodded once in response. He didn’t feel the need to brag or explain. The panel spoke for itself.

But before he could say anything else—

Fwoosh!

Another panel suddenly appeared in front of him. Leon blinked in surprise.

"This is...?" he murmured.

Then he realized what it was: Emilia’s talent.

She had ntioned before that her talent was called [Elven Saintess], but she had never gone into detail about it.

Leon hadn’t pressed her either. Talents were private. In this world, revealing one was the sa as handing soone a loaded weapon and trusting them not to pull the trigger.

Showing your talent to soone else was one of the strongest displays of trust there was.

Even Leon, whose talent didn’t directly affect his combat abilities, would never reveal it to soone he didn’t fully trust with his life.

So for Emilia to do this... Leon felt a faint warmth rise in his chest.

He focused his attention on the panel and began to read.

---

[Elven Saintess (SS-Level): You are the saintess of all elven races. Whether normal elves, dark elves, or high elves, you stand above them all as their chosen saintess.]

[Your reputation with all races is increased beyond the norm, making others more inclined to trust you, cooperate with you, and view you favorably.]

[Your magical abilities are greatly enhanced. Mana consumption is reduced, spell chanting is unnecessary, and cooldowns are significantly shortened.]

[Your affinity with beasts is unparalleled. Any beast you ta will remain absolutely loyal to you under all circumstances.]

---

Leon stared at the panel for several long seconds.

"...Damn."

That was the only word that ca to mind. The talent was monstrous.

Not flashy in a simple way, but terrifying in how comprehensive it was.

Reputation, magic efficiency, spellcasting speed, and absolute control over beasts, each effect alone would already be considered top-tier. Combined together, they were outright unfair.

No wonder Emilia was so strong.

Her slightly higher reputation with all races ant smoother interactions almost everywhere.

It didn’t make her invincible, but it reduced unnecessary hostility and opened doors that would otherwise remain closed.

Her magic, already powerful, was pushed even further.

Reduced mana cost, no chanting, shorter cooldowns, she could cast spells faster, more often, and with far less preparation than almost anyone else.

And then there was the last effect.

The one that truly caught Leon’s attention. Absolute loyalty from beasts.

If she tad a monster, a spirit beast, or anything classified as such, betrayal was impossible.

Leon couldn’t help but think that anyone familiar with [Eternal Ascension] would imdiately label this as a cheat-level passive.

’Finding a truly powerful beast won’t be easy right now,’ Leon thought. ’But in the [Higher Domain]... that’ll change.’

Once they reached that stage, Emilia’s value would skyrocket even further.

Add her [Support Saint] title on top of this talent, and she beca the perfect companion—soone who could boost, protect, and support at every stage of growth.

Leon closed the panel and let out a quiet breath. He really was lucky.

"Alright," he said, shifting his focus back to the table. "Let’s eat before the food gets cold."

Emilia smiled slightly and nodded, and the two of them continued their al.

After a short while, Leon spoke again.

"By the way," he said casually, "from now on, we need to focus mainly on [Combat Power]."

Emilia paused mid-bite and looked at him.

"Combat Power?" she repeated. "Because of the assessnts?"

"Exactly."

They were already extrely close to level 25.

Once they reached it, the system would imdiately ask whether they wanted to take their next assessnt. That mont would decide everything.

Leon wanted to be ready.

"I want to challenge the S-Rank assessnt again," Leon said calmly. "And I want you to retry the A-Rank one."

Those assessnts were among the best opportunities they had to grow stronger in a short amount of ti. The rewards alone made them worth the risk.

They couldn’t afford to waste this chance.

"Alright," Emilia nodded without hesitation. "So what’s the plan?"

Leon leaned back slightly.

"For you, we aim for at least fifty thousand Combat Power."

"That high...?" Emilia muttered, then smiled. "Ambitious."

"And for ..."

Leon opened his combat panel.

[Combat Power: 18,452 ( 34,932)]

A wide grin spread across his face.

With all bonuses included, he was already well above fifty thousand Combat Power.

"Sixty thousand is pretty much guaranteed," Leon said thoughtfully. "But seventy thousand would be even better."

’I honestly don’t know how much I need for the S-Rank assessnt,’ he admitted internally.

But after experiencing the [Novice Divine Temple], he knew one thing for sure.

Underestimating it would be fatal. He had no intention of barely scraping through.

Leon also found himself wondering about the other celestials, the one hundred and ninety-nine who stood alongside him with the sa title.

Did all of them manage to clear the S-Rank assessnt? Or had so already fallen behind?

The thought didn’t linger long. Regardless of what others did, Leon needed to make sure he succeeded.

If the very first assessnt had given him such an overwhelming reward, then the ones that followed would be even more world-shaking.

"But wait," Emilia suddenly said, tapping her chin. "What if we just... farm essences using your talent?"

Leon chuckled.

"That’s literally the plan," he said with a grin. "We’ll do it as much as we can, while we can."

Before that, though... There was no harm in resting a little, even if resting was simply eating out.

Once they hit level 25, the system wouldn’t give them much freedom. Selecting "no" when prompted would lock them out of the assessnt for two whole weeks.

Selecting "yes" would teleport them to the [Interdiate Divine Temple] within five minutes.

And once the assessnt was completed, they wouldn’t return to [Moon City].

They’d be sent sowhere else in the [Lower Domain], far away.

Getting back wouldn’t be impossible, but the journey would be dangerous.

That was why Leon wanted to finish everything he could here first.

After around thirty minutes, they finished their als and stepped back into the main square.

Compared to before, it was even more chaotic.

"I’ll give you two thousand Eternal Coins if you fix my weapon and enhance it!"

"Please, I’ve been waiting for ages already!"

"Hey! Don’t cut the line!"

Tolkien’s shop was completely surrounded.

Hundreds, no, thousands of players crowded around him, desperately trying to get his attention.

Leon noticed sothing else as well. So of them were already level 25.

No one above that, though. The news of Tolkien’s appearance had only spread half an hour ago.

Players who had already advanced further would need be strong and also have ti to travel back through the [Land of Mist].

"Haha!" Tolkien laughed heartily, hamring away without pause. "Keep them coming! I won’t get tired!"

It genuinely seed like blacksmithing was his life’s calling.

Leon did hope he’d get the chance to sell items to Tolkien eventually, but with this crowd... It wouldn’t be easy.

For now, though, Leon clenched his fist slightly and smiled.

"It’s grinding ti," he said. "Nothing else to do but get stronger."
