Leon stared at the panel hovering in front of him.

[Sub-Talent Scroll: x11 Blood Affinity (C-Level)]

He had managed to acquire an absurd number of these scrolls in such a short amount of ti.

Even in all [Lower Domains], this wasn’t sothing that happened often. For most players, even getting one would be considered lucky.

For Leon, it was simply another result of his talent. And because of that, he didn’t hesitate.

His goal was simple: evolve his existing sub-talent as far as possible.

Fwoosh!

He began the fusion process imdiately, one scroll after another dissolving into crimson light.

The process wasn’t instant, each fusion carried a brief pause, just long enough to keep his heart tense.

Ding!

[Fusion successful.]

Fwoosh! Ding!

[Fusion failed.]

Leon calmly continued, not letting the failures bother him.

In the end, out of the initial batch, only three successful fusions went through.

What remained were three scrolls.

[Blood Affinity (B-Level)]

Leon exhaled slowly.

"That’s fine," he muttered. "This was expected."

Without wasting ti, he brought up his own sub-talent panel and directly attempted to fuse the scrolls into himself.

Fwoosh! Ding!

[Fusion failed.]

Leon nodded once.

"Expected."

Beep!

[Fusion failed.]

"...Still expected," he added dryly.

There was only one attempt left. Leon focused, steadying his breathing.

Fwoosh! Ding!

[Fusion successful.]

"Yes," Leon let out a quiet sigh of relief.

A new panel imdiately unfolded before his eyes.

[You have evolved "Blood Affinity (B-Level)" to "Blood Vessel (A-Level)"]

[Blood Vessel (A-Level): Your affinity with blood surpasses that of others, granting you superior control over it. You are immune to bleeding and will not easily shed blood.]

As soon as the evolution completed, Leon felt sothing change.

It wasn’t as dramatic as when he had obtained [Embodint of Darkness]. No shadows surged from his body. No visible transformation occurred.

Instead, the sensation was internal. Deep.

It felt as though his blood itself shifted, becoming denser, more refined.

There was a strange warmth coursing through his veins, followed by a subtle pressure that spread throughout his body.

Leon clenched his fist. For a brief mont, his heartbeat felt different. Stronger. More stable.

Then, just as suddenly, everything returned to normal.

Ding!

[You are less likely to feel "Tired", and your stamina has improved.]

Leon rolled his shoulders and let out a breath.

"I guess that’s a solid passive," he said, a wide grin spreading across his face. "And the next evolution should be S-Level."

That thought alone made his heart race slightly. An S-Level sub-talent.

He had already seen how terrifying S-Level talents could be. If this one evolved further... he couldn’t even imagine what kind of effect it would have.

Leon didn’t dwell on it for long. Instead, he turned toward the surrounding battlefield.

Mutated monsters were everywhere.

[Lunar Bears (Mutated)] prowled the edges of the area, their massive forms outlined by crimson moonlight.

[Moon Mages (Mutated)] floated in the distance, gathering unstable lunar mana.

Spirits, sentinels, and other corrupted creatures wandered freely, drawn by the influence of the Blood Moon.

Leon smiled. This was perfect.

Fwoosh!

Spells erupted one after another. Fire, lightning, compressed mana, each attack precise and devastating.

Leon moved efficiently, wasting no ti or energy. Every monster that fell ant more experience, more essences, more sub-talent scrolls.

Ti passed quickly. Hours slipped by without Leon even realizing it.

Of course, the monsters weren’t infinite. Other players were also grinding in the [Lunar Threshold], and eventually the density began to thin out.

At that point, Leon had two choices: wait for respawns or move deeper to search for new clusters.

Either way, the results were already incredible.

Ding! Ding!

[Congratulations, you have leveled up to Level 23 24!]

[Due to "Heaven’s Blessing", you have gained 250 points in all attributes and 250 free points to distribute.]

Leon exhaled heavily.

"Phew."

He opened his status panel and checked his progress.

[Level: 24 (37,500/38,000)]

He was close. Very close.

Only one or two kills stood between him and level 25, and the mont he reached it, his second assessnt would be unavoidable.

Almost at the sa ti, another notification appeared.

Ding!

[You have received a ssage from "Saintess"]

[Saintess: I’m done and almost level 25 (°◡°♡).:。]

Leon smiled.

[Celestial: Good. Let’s et up again. I have everything we need.]

[Saintess: Yay!]

A few minutes later, they reunited at the edge of the zone.

Emilia looked... radiant.

Her movents were relaxed, confident, and her aura felt far denser than before.

"I still find it funny," she said with a laugh, "that I can just rush into dozens of monsters and none of them can even graze ."

Leon imdiately shook his head.

"Don’t get overconfident," he said firmly. "That kind of thinking gets people killed. This works until you et soone who can actually hurt you."

Emilia froze for a second, then sighed.

"...You’re right. Sorry."

"It’s fine," Leon replied, his tone softening. He opened his storage space, a grin forming on his face. "Besides, I’ve got everything we need right here."

A massive list appeared between them.

[Sub-Talent Scrolls: x28 Blood Affinity (C-Level), x21 Spirit Enhancent (E-Level), x16 Constitution Enhancent (D-Level), x8 Strength Enhancent (D-Level)]

Leon stared at the list. A tear nearly ford in his eye.

"This... this is beautiful," he muttered.

For most players, gathering even a fraction of this would take months.

If he sold all of it right now, he could easily earn over 200,000 Eternal Coins.

But Leon shook his head.

"I’ll need way more than that later," he thought. "Strength cos first."

In addition to the scrolls, Leon had also accumulated a large amount of essences.

He split them cleanly, giving Emilia roughly forty percent of the total.

Then he consud his share one by one.

Ding!

[ 402 Spirit, 86 Strength, 178 Agility, 297 Constitution]

Leon felt the changes imdiately.

His mana reserves expanded. His muscles felt denser. His movents beca sharper, more responsive. His body felt... complete.

Emilia experienced a similar boost, and thanks to her insane Constitution multiplier, her combat power skyrocketed once more.

As for the equipnt drops, Leon fused what he could, keeping only the best results. None of them surpassed his current gear, so he didn’t hesitate.

Instead he opened the [Trading House].

And instantly—

Ding!

[All your items have been sold for 14,950 Eternal Coins!]

"Haha!" Leon laughed. "Hell yeah."

More people would hear about him now. His na would spread. His presence would be rembered.

That was exactly what he wanted.

He didn’t imdiately use the coins to expand his storage. There was no need yet.

Instead, he turned back to the remaining scrolls, handed half of them to Emilia, and they both began fusing again.

Beep!

[Fusion failed.]

Beep!

[Fusion failed.]

Ding!

[Fusion successful.]

Failures far outnumbered successes, but that was normal. In the end, the results were still more than satisfying.

Ding!

[You have evolved "Spirit Enhancent (D-Level)" to "Super Spirit Enhancent (C-Level)"]

[Super Spirit Enhancent (C-Level): Permanently increases Spirit by 50%.]

Ding!

[You have evolved "Super Constitution Enhancent (C-Level)" to "Super Constitution Enhancent (B-Level)"]

[Super Constitution Enhancent (B-Level): Permanently increases Constitution by 75%.]

Ding!

[You have evolved "Strength Enhancent (D-Level)" to "Super Strength Enhancent (C-Level)"]

[Super Strength Enhancent (C-Level): Permanently increases Strength by 50%.]

Emilia’s eyes sparkled.

"My stats are going insane," she said breathlessly. "This is too good!"

Like Leon, she also learned [Blood Affinity (B-Level)], and managed to further enhance her existing sub-talents into [Super Constitution Enhancent (B-Level)] and [Super Spirit Enhancent (C-Level)]

Finally, she opened her combat panel.

"My Combat Power is over 70,000 now."

She looked up, grinning. Leon stared.

"...I didn’t think that was possible," he admitted with a laugh. "But that’s great. You should be able to challenge an S-Rank Assessnt."

Leon still kept a few scrolls aside, not for himself, but for later. For Aaron, David, Eleonore, and Alice. Each of them would benefit greatly depending on their build.

And then... After countless failed attempts. After burning through scroll after scroll.

One final panel appeared.

Ding!

[You have evolved "Blood Vessel (A-Level)" to "Blood Monarch (S-Level)"]

"Damn?"1

I know Leon says that a lot, it’s his favorite word
