Now reading: Chapter 168 - 166: Venting Fury from Only I am Venerable, a Eastern novel by Sharp Knife.

That voice was like the horn of the Death God himself. The staggering pressure that had already enveloped the platform gave the thirty-odd disciples of the Paradise Celestial Palace the feeling that the world was ending.

If aura could make one feel a bone-deep chill, a sense of suffocation, a feeling of being utterly intimidated, then this pressure... this was a tangible force, an irresistible power!

A massacre. This was a true massacre!

A one-sided slaughter!

Rivers... of blood!

The killing intent flooding the air was so thick it felt tangible, causing the disciples from the Paradise Celestial Palace to lose any will to resist. Their spirits utterly shattered!

The scene was like a living Purgatory!

Faced with this scum, Qin Li had no intention of holding back. ’For people like them, a quick death is already a monuntal gift.’ If he were to act on the girls’ wishes, these dregs of the Paradise Celestial Palace would be tortured to death with one of the myriad thods they themselves had bragged about.

The lecherous old man who had insulted Li Qin was the first one Qin Li took down, but he didn’t kill him. He was the only one left alive. Qin Li had his reasons: he wanted to give the girls a chance to vent their rage.

Otherwise, even if he managed to lead them out of this Mysterious Land completely unscathed, the girls would surely be left with deep psychological trauma. As soone who had crossed over from the modern, civilized world, Qin Li understood this all too well.

’Since I’ve decided to play the hero, I might as well see it through to the end.’

In the span of a single breath, the battle was over.

The entire mountainside platform was littered with corpses, most of them dispatched with a single sword strike to the throat. And this was only because Qin Li didn’t want to make the scene too gory; otherwise, it would have been countless tis more horrific.

Even so, most of the hundred-odd girls were pale. The thick, coppery stench of blood made many of them double over and vomit. But on every face was an expression of cathartic hatred. It was as if they wished they could have rushed in and killed those animals several tis over themselves.

In the end, only the ashen-faced Elder was left. Qin Li had shattered his Dantian with a kick, and now he was just a trembling heap on the ground, his eyes filled with undiluted terror.

Li Qin understood why their savior had done this. She was one of the few girls whose expression remained unchanged. It wasn’t that she was unaffected by the horrific slaughter, but that her towering hatred completely suppressed any fear. Slowly, she walked toward the old man, one step at a ti.

"What... what are you doing?" The Elder was listless, his wrinkled old face contorted with tension and fear.

A mont ago, they were the fish and he was the butcher’s knife. In a flash, the tables had been completely turned. Now, he was the one utterly powerless to resist.

Death was now inevitable. A vicious glint suddenly flashed in the Elder’s eyes. He stuck out his tongue and, mustering the last of his strength, resolved to bite it off and end his own life.

But Li Qin, who had just reached him, saw his intention. Without a second thought, she kicked him viciously in the mouth.

THWACK!

With a sickening thud, the Elder’s mouth was kicked into a bloody pulp.

Li Qin’s kick had knocked out all of his teeth.

The Elder imdiately passed out from the pain. In the final mont before he lost consciousness, this man who had joined the Paradise Celestial Palace in his youth had a sudden, extravagant wish: ’If only I could just die right now... how blissful that would be!’

Qin Li kicked the corpses off the mountainside and into the ravine, one by one. When he turned back, he saw the girls had surrounded the old man, forming a tight, dense circle.

Shrill screams, curses, and pleas for rcy rang out nonstop.

Finally, Li Qin’s voice rose from the center of the crowd. "Sisters, don’t crowd! Don’t crowd! Rember, don’t kill him all at once! Everyone will get a turn..."

Qin Li watched the group of seventeen- and eighteen-year-old girls, montarily speechless and filled with a complex mix of emotions. He knew, however, that one could only afford to sympathize with others after gaining the strength to do so.

In the end, the girls tortured the Elder from the Paradise Celestial Palace for the better part of a day, until he finally died from the sheer agony, his shrill screams echoing until the very end.

After he disposed of the Elder’s corpse, Qin Li watched the girls, now huddled together and weeping. He knew they had finally purged most of their pain, fear, and grievances. Now, his job was to lead them safely out of this Mysterious Land.

「Within the next three days」

Dozens more disciples from the Paradise Celestial Palace ca to throw their lives away. Like the group before them, they all rembered this place and converged on it.

Qin Li lay in wait for them. In three days, he had killed nearly every disciple from the Paradise Celestial Palace! This included the female disciples who had co here to hide; Qin Li showed them no rcy either.

In truth, Qin Li’s injuries hadn’t fully healed. But under the circumstances, if he had simply hidden away to recuperate, stable as a mountain, he wouldn’t be Qin Li. He wouldn’t deserve to call himself a man.

So for the next several days, Qin Li simultaneously recovered and killed all cors. After more than ten days, no one else ca, and Qin Li’s injuries finally healed completely.

Hai Tongtian and Elder Wen never reappeared. Qin Li even suspected the two old bastards might have already left this place.

But he knew those two old bastards. ’They won’t leave here easily unless they kill first.’ With so many Paradise Celestial Palace disciples dead, he refused to believe those two were too stupid to figure out why.

So, he waited here patiently.

The transformative effects of the Red Jade Vermilion Fruit on Qin Li’s ridians were obvious. Even without entering seclusion, his speed at absorbing Spiritual Qi was now incredibly fast.

Every morning, Qin Li would circulate the Innate Purple Qi Technique on schedule, absorbing that wisp of Innate Purple Qi from the horizon. To his surprise, however, no matter how much Innate Purple Qi he absorbed, the vortex within his Dantian remained a mix of white and purple.

The amount of white hadn’t decreased in the slightest.

’It seems that white jade lotus was truly a Top-Grade item of the highest quality!’

He could feel this in the way his Divine Sense had grown incomparably powerful.

Qin Li also used this ti to teach the girls so simple skills. They were unable to cultivate the Nine Heavens and Ten Lands, Only I am Venerable battle technique, but they could learn so of the Martial Arts from Qin Li’s past life.

The place happened to be rich in Spiritual Qi, and Li Qin also shared her Primordial Power Heart thod. Having realized the importance of strength, the girls all cultivated with extre diligence.

「One month later」

The once frail young won had all beco robust and healthy, their faces glowing with a rosy, captivating luster. The youthful vigor unique to them was now even more alluring.

As for Qin Li, he used this ti to systematically review and consolidate everything he had learned. His power reached the peak of the Celestial Level, just one step away from breaking through to the Celestial Shattering Realm.

Finally, the day ca. Two extrely powerful auras appeared above the Fairy Kiln, approaching at incredible speed. The girls, who were in the middle of training, felt a bone-deep chill wash over them.

Qin Li, who was cultivating inside his cave, slowly opened his eyes. ’I knew they wouldn’t leave. As I thought, they finally lost their patience and ca looking for .’

For the past month, Elder Wen and Hai Tongtian had been living in a state of constant anxiety and fear.

They didn’t want to leave, because their most terrifying foe was still alive. That man was their greatest nightmare.

If they couldn’t watch him die with their own eyes, they would live in his shadow for the rest of their lives, even if they escaped this place. Therefore, they had to find Qin Li and kill him!

However, the remaining disciples of the Paradise Celestial Palace had all vanished without a trace.

At first, the two assud the damn fools had seen that things were going south and had gone into hiding. Enraged, the pair scoured the area for them. Whenever they found a disciple in hiding, they would kill them on the spot, no questions asked.

At this point, things like the Paradise Celestial Palace or its future developnt were completely aningless to them. Their only reason for staying, for even continuing to live, was to get revenge—to kill Qin Li.

They had to kill him!

Finally, after nearly a month, the two had hunted down and exterminated every disciple in hiding. They killed the n outright. As for the female disciples... they were used for Absorption first, then killed.

In this way, over the course of the month, their injuries fully healed, and they returned to their peak condition. They then spent the rest of their ti searching for Qin Li’s possible hiding place. Since they had been guarding the exit the entire ti, they were certain he hadn’t left.

But even after nearly turning the entire area near the main gate upside down, they couldn’t find him. In the end, they were forced to give up the search.

This was because the terrifying Golden Giant Tiger could reappear at any mont, and the two of them together were no match for it.

So, at last, they rembered the Fairy Kiln. They recalled that Qin Li had been there before and had killed several Paradise Celestial Palace disciples who were guarding it.

They decided to check the Fairy Kiln. If Qin Li was hiding there, they would kill him, finally laying their obsession to rest. Then, they would enjoy these Tripod Furnaces one by one before leaving. If Qin Li wasn’t there, they would enjoy the Tripod Furnaces anyway, then go out into the secular world. They would use any ans necessary to find everyone associated with Qin Li and kill them all... to vent the hatred in their hearts!

I haven’t seen my child in over half a month and I’ve missed them dearly, so I brought them back from my mother-in-law’s place. The house is a bit noisy now, and one of my hands is in a lot of pain, so my typing speed is slow. Updates might be a little delayed, and I hope all my brothers and sisters can be understanding.

No matter the delay, I won’t fall behind on my promises. "Finish today’s work today" is my principle. I will never shortchange you all by even a single word unless it’s absolutely unavoidable. You can rest assured on that.
